(If you order a Panini expect a wait of around 15 minutes.) Their bakery goods are to die for! Yes, you could run around the corner to Gerhards but you'll pay much less here at Foodstuffs for a larger, better dessert (and maybe even fresher). It's not all perfect, however. We recently took home one of their frozen Shepards Pies and while the crust was great and it had plenty of meat filling there was way, way too much salt in the recipe. Also, I've had soup here a few times and it was good, but not great. As an aside, the service here is definitely courteous but can be slightly standoffish at times so don't expect the kind of super friendly service you may experience elsewhere in Lake Forest.

We have been shopping kroeger grocery chains since my children were young and I'm a grandma now…read moremany times over. In Washington deliveries are on point and arrive often earlier than promised. We are new to Illinois and have tried to have our groceries delivered from Marianos. I paid for express delivery in my second order that arrived 45 minutes later than the latest time promised, later than a regular delivery would have arrived, along with thawed frozen food. Today my groceries did not arrive at all! I looked and my order had been canceled with no notice to me!! Only help from customer service was order again. Now I am paying for express delivery to get groceries here four hours after I originally ordered them, along with having to pay for them twice because the refund on what I paid for and did not receive will not go through for 3-4 days. Why not just go pick them you ask, well flew here to care for daughter that is on bed rest with a toddler. Just not an option. So frustrated and angry!!!!
