I hope they consider offering some sort of egg with all breakfasts. Pancakes and French toast are good for breakfast but a side of a protein (other than sausage) should be part of all breakfasts. They have water out all day but it is always room temperature, not very refreshing on a hot day.

Downside = the mattresses have some sort of plastic protector that crunches and such when you roll over (or really just move) on the bed. And the decor is early 70s chic with thin doors both inside and outside facing. That being said, it's a cozy little place and nicer than one might even expect for a town the size of Iola. It is more like coming to a second home than a hotel. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfy. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. We are a very large group. Some of us have disabilities that require special assistance, adaptive rooms, service animals, and caretakers. Some of us travel with aides or professional assistants/managers. This hotel handles it all with professionalism and calm. We use banquet spaces, meeting rooms, suites, hospitality spaces, and the restaurant. We take up most of the parking and if the pool or sauna are available, we are in my heaven! A few of us even use the workout room or hang out at the bar! This hotel keeps us coming back because they treat us well; they feed us well; they serve us amazing hospitality; and the fees are a great value! If you're in Marshfield, don't overlook this inconspicuous gem of a hotel! It's a part of the Best Western Group. These people put the "best" in hotel service industry! I think I would rather tell the guests to evacuate, so they don't have to deal with the loud noise because it really does hurt their ear drums with the constant fire alarm noise. I'm just thankful I don't have to pickup any virtual zoom conference calls, otherwise, this is definitely not the hotel I'd want to work from. Hampton Inn, please do better. You were always on top of these issues. If it's not a real fire or emergency, why are you testing out the fire alarms 6 times within 3 hours?
