I think it took them 3 hours or so to install the boards on the floor, lay the padding, and then put down the carpet. They were polite, and obviously took great pride in their work. They did such a great job that I knew I had to replace the generic carpet on the second floor as soon as possible - waiting for the carpet I wanted from Lowes to go on sale again - and now that it's supposed to be delivered this week, I'll be calling these guys again to ask them to install it. I would recommend them 100%!

They were able to schedule a time that fit my own schedule, since I work nights, and were the most professional of any contractor I've had at my place. Example, they laid down floor protection all the way from my condo entrance to my bedroom door they were going to replace. They also were the only company that used a shop vac. Aside from their excellent work at reasonable rates, they are a personable couple who work well together and truly show that they care about you as a customer and about doing things right. I HIGHLY recommend them for any home carpentry repairs. There are many shysters and charlatans out there, and it was a welcome change to deal with such considerate and professional people who know what they are doing. I will use them for any further household carpentry project if the need will arise.

I liked peakstone the best - because the owner came out - and was most personable and gave me GREAT advice and suggestions on the Island. We had purchased this island from IKEA and didn't want the wood top that came with it - Juan came out and just had the perfect suggestions on color and style and AM I GLAD I LISTENED TO HIM! Right down to the counter top finishes. He and his wife worked with me for months - because we had some family illness that we had to deal with in between our selections. Finally he sent his team out when we were ready - and WOW - I love the countertops and the style. We live in New Irving Park on Willoughby and would be happy to have anyone over if you want to see Peakstone's work in person! (pictures don't do it justice.)
