We hired Frank Flores and his company, The Framing Crew Construction Company, LLC, to do a reno of…read moreour house. This was to include front porch and convert 2 car garage to a primary suite and laundry/mudroom. The quality of the work was sub par. The crew seldom used framing squares or a level during the build. This resulted in obvious sub par finishes. Door casings not aligned or level, caulk was heavily relied on in order to cover up gaps and errors. Frank used the framing carpenters for all detail work instead of hiring skilled tradesmen. We decided to purchase on our own specific quality materials because Frank took many short cuts and purchased cheap materials, again ignoring best business practices. Frank frequently was not here for supervision. Often, this resulted in things needing to be redone. He received his final payout and disappeared leaving his business sign and our side entrance without a handrail, which was to be compled the next day for safety. There has been NO FOLLOW-UP, no contact from Frank to inquire about our current satisfaction. In closing, if you are looking for high quality construction on your home...The Framing Crew is not going to meet expectations. Barry and Joyce, Forest Oaks homeowners

What was supposed to be a 2…read moreweek job took 4 months to complete. 6 months after the job was complete we contacted Richard Shaw (Chuck), the owner and guy we dealt with the entire time, and let him know the floor was breaking, cracking, bowing. The transitions were cracked, some were coming off of the floor. Cracks in the floor were found to be glued to be repaired. After a couple of months and many excuses later he finally came out and made a poor attempt to fix one part of the floor. He said he had to order more flooring and come back out. Even joking that we didn't feel like he would come back. Again after many texts messages and excuses, we finally requested a refund for the floor so we could have someone fix them correctly. We were ignored. He never returned any messages and left us with no other choice but to file a civil suit. We were trying to be patient. After 9 months of nonsense we had enough. We filed, showed up to court and were told they couldn't serve carolina home remodel. The physical address doesn't match the company apparently. So we are now left with a busted up floor that we spent thousands of dollars on and its been just over a year. We will continue to pursue legal action.

He was incredibly patient, from working around the home inspector for the consultation, the plumber replacing pipes under the sink and appliance delivery. My backsplash tile was very intricate, and I was blown away when I saw him laying it out and making a template to include the many outlets on the wall. Once laid out, he was sure to get my opinion on what part of the tile pattern I wanted to emphasize before tracing the template and making the cuts. Arturo was very punctual, trustworthy and a man of his word. I highly recommend!!! For some reason the pictures I am trying to attach will not upload.
