i was looking for a 2014 dodge charger they had on sale.been waiting for the best price. when i finally tried to buy it.they add something called adjusted market value which was 4gs. i called 4 dealers who said they only charge that for new vehicles not used.alert no 1. so i make a appointment because maria tells me the only deal with appointments. so i make mine at 11 am. i find out someone else wants the car but their appointment is 12. ok so i travel 2 hours to get there. where they play both of use against each other. i was willing to pay the 4g.others bitched but they told them i was willing to pay. alert no 2. then the sales man neberto tells me i should buy the extended waranty i guess to get even more money for this car. alert no 3. then they say they came first. but then why ask for appointments.when i got pissed they said thats business. really. now i know where the phrase used car salesman came from. really unprofessional. so buyer beware. trully xxxbags read more

Stay away! These guys are crooks! First, they lure you in by posting low prices on their website. Then, when you go in to take a look and test drive, they waste your entire day (Salesman went outside to pull the car around for us, and after 45 min of wondering if he was ever coming back, I peaked outside and saw him having a cigarette and chatting with his buddies). When we finally test drove the car, the battery was dead...they promised a new battery. When it came time to drive it home, they said it was too late into the evening to buy one, so....too bad. Then came the pricing... When I tried to offer cash or other financing, they said that drives up the price by a few grand (apparently because they would lose their commission...). The financing interest rate they offered me was terrible, especially considering my stellar credit, but they assured me I could refinance at any point without penalty. So how does that work out with their commission?... They took a couple of months to get us the tags, which meant we were driving the car illegally for a few weeks... Then the worst part...they sold me a warranty. They included the cost of the warranty in the purchase price of the vehicle. A few months later, I called the warranty company to check up on it, and apparently my warranty DOES NOT EXIST!!! So basically they screwed me out of another couple grand. And when I call, they transfer me around, say So-and-So is not in today, he will call me back, blah blah blah. This dealership makes all the other lousy ones look honest. We were looking for a 2014 BMW X5. AMG advertised one of the best prices online. We arranged our own financing. We traveled 3.5 hours to AMG to inspect, test drive and negotiate the purchase. Salesperson told us the internet price was non-negotiable, there would be dealership fees of $3998.00 ($2,999.00 + $999.00) and we had to finance through them to get the internet price. We no longer saw this as good deal so we did not make the purchase. read more

I had the worst experience with AMG auto. The no frills and damages on the outer appearance accurately reflect the quality of the service. There were so many warning signs from the start, as I kept catching them in lies throughout the entire experience. Each staff member would tell a different story. Negotiated a price during the first visit and when I went to pick up the car, it was completely different (nearly 20% higher than the original). Buyer beware. read more

The salesman Juan and the General Manager Rad are the worst pieces of c**p I have ever dealt with in all my life. First, the finance guy who is another piece of c**p, he tried to charge me another $2190.00 extra by putting on the contract $24990.00 instead of the sale price $22800.00. Well, I caught him and they had to reimburse me for that. When I talked to Juan the salesman he told me they maintained the car since they had it, when I checked the car for vehicle status, it said that I had 800 miles left on the front brakes. When I told them Rad said they would pay for the pads but I had to pay for the rotors (271.00). They also had to top the fluids and change the wipers. I dropped off the car (2017 BMW) and I told them I needed it back by 4pm. At 4pm I called them and they didn't do the brakes only the wipers. They said they needed a part for the brakes. They had my car all day and did not call me. They dropped off the car back at 6:30 pm. I was livid! When I dropped off the car again they "fixed the brakes" only to discover there was a noise so loud I had to bring it back. Something from the brakes was hitting the rotor. A few days after that 2 hoses broke and when I called the warranty company they said I had to bring it back to the dealer because it was under 50 miles so I couldn't bring it anywhere else. They did not explain that to me when I purchased the warranty! I had to have the car towed to a BMW dealer near me. It cost me $1500.00 to repair the hoses which weren't under the Gold Package warranty that I bought. I tried asking them to let me out of this warranty but they said it was past the time allotted. So now I have a $2050.00 warranty I can't and will not use. Great! I called Rad about 15-20 times to discuss all of this and not once did he return my calls. How about that for service! The GM of this putrid company doesn't have the decency to call back. They kept telling me he's out to lunch, with a customer, busy in the back with someone, etc... There is so much more to my experience with this poor excuse of a company. I will admit that I didn't take the advise of all the other horrible reviews to stay away from scum like them. I also want to acknowledge that 2 individuals that were a saving grace in my experience was Tom and Victor who seem to be the only ones with integrity. Run, run, run, far away from this dealership. If the salesman and the GM are a piece of $**t, what is the Owner like? Probably a bigger piece of $**t who either does not care or is so oblivious to what's going on. read more

this was the WORSE service i've ever received when looking at i car. When i arrived nobody knew where anything was, I waited atleast 25 minutes for a lady who wasn't even there who i had made an appointment with, the sales lady WENT HOME after texting me and saying are u still on your way. The pictures of the car did not show any of the damage that existed on the car AT ALL and to add onto that I specifically asked the lady over the phone multiple times if there was ANY obvious damage to the car at all and she replied "no not at all each time". SO all in all unless you have a free hour and a full tank of gas to go see how awful this place is i don't recommend it!!!! and to add to it at the end after i mentioned giving this place an awful review because of how upset i was with wasting my time the salesman repeatedly asked me not to leave a negative review because he feared that they would have "too many" and that they may get introuble. I would first like to say that Kasim a salesmen and ChristyAnn at the front desk are great employees! HOWEVER this was an out of state purchase for me and it has been nothing but xxxx for me because of their DMV department there. First off today is 5/15/19 I purchased my car from AMG 3/28/19 I have yet to receive my tags from my DMV here in Delaware because of so many mix ups and miscommunication and lack of their in that department. What makes it worse is that no one in that department bothers to follow up or return calls. There is someone named Olga there that I spoke to who provided me with her email address saying she will make sure this is handled yet she has not answered 1 email and out of 5 phone calls she has returned 1. If it wasn't for ChristyAnn at the front desk I wouldn't have any information as far as an update. Olga and that department is the most unprofessional people I've had to ever deal with and I have no clue how AMG accepts them!!! Other then this the cars their are great the sales reps are great but because of me still not having my plates after almost 2 months bc of the incompetence I will rate a 1 star. Never had I ever had to deal with a company so rude that they don't even bother to return calls! Zero stars. I emailed the dealership and said I was interested in a vehicle. I get a response from a salesman saying it was available. He then proceeds, over the next 7-8 days to not answer my emails, texts and calls to his cell in which he provided the number. The GM calls to apologize and to "make it right". He then gets another sales person for me to deal with. I make an appointment and drive 2 hours to see the car. I had my checkbook and title in hand ready to make a deal. My salesperson adds 3,000 to the asking price. I heard of not negotiating asking price but ADDING to it??Complete waste of time. Would never go back or recommend. read more

STAY AWAY from this place. The moment that they got your money, they don't care about anything. I've waited over 2 months for my out of state registration. After first few weeks they admitted they didn't fill the papers in DMV cause just no. Than they dodged my calls for days, never replied to voicemails. Every time you call their DMV department, they are either sick, or off or went home early. Or they put you on hold for over 20 min. When I finally wanted to complain to owner, they put me on hold for 35 min to connect me to voicemail in the end! Nobody will ever call you back, doesnt matter how many messages you will leave. I was planning on buying that vehicle and for that price it was beautiful. They told me "It is our policy for us to approve you for financing first and they needed to do all the financial paperwork before a test drive ". And even after they brought the car up to the door for a test drive they wanted me to sign paperwork before I could drive the car. I walked out so upset because it was an hour drive to get there. read more

Buyer beware! My daughter is going through a mess with this dealer right now with false advertising practices. Had two cars shipped that were both advertised as and photo's showed black on black in color. They are both blue exterior! The docs from the dealer say black but the registration/titles confirm blue. She also asked about rust and was told neither had it, one of them has a lot of rust underneath. They had the vehicle for over 4 months and didn't replace brakes that were desperately needed and didn't even do an oil change before they put it on their lot. So she is out an additional $800 already. They keep insisting they are both black and not doing anything to take responsibility. Luckily for some reason they haven't signed the purchase docs do she will get the finance company, the local authorities and military legal services involved to resurrect the situation. I saw the 70 beautiful pics on their website (before they removed) and they look great, the actual product not so great. I would avoid this place at all costs. read more

Bought a great car at a fair deal here. It's been 37 DAYS and they have yet to pay the lien holder for my trade-in and/or supply me with the registration I paid for. I was upside down so my payment was for the price of the car I was buying, plus an extra $11,300.92 to cover my negative equity. AMG Auto has repeatedly made promises that have not panned out and now the lien holder is charging me the interest. Owner Gene Kay does not reply to voicemail left for him and General Manager Steven's promises have all not happened to this point. Sitting on trade-ins that long is unethical and representative of a cash strapped organization that's poorly managed. STAY AWAY, unless you want to pay for $1000 for a lawyer like I have to do in 7 days........ read more

Let me just start by saying that if you do not feel like reading an extremely detailed account of the horrible experience I had, then let me just sum it up for you: On July 22nd 2017 I drove 5 and 1/2 hours to purchase a car from these people, and drove it for 4 days before it was rendered unusable by a preexisting condition. It took over a month to have it picked up from my mechanic and to have my money returned. Getting anyone on the phone was next to impossible. Please, if you value your time and sanity, search elsewhere for your next vehicle. The headache is not worth the savings. If you are interested in all of the unpleasant details of my experience, please read my review on Cars.com. If it is not there, then AMG probably paid to have it removed. This was nothing but an unpleasant and stressful experience from start to finish, but I look at it as an opportunity to try and protect my fellow car buyers from the same treatment. I purchased a used Infiniti from AMG in January 2018 along with an extended warranty. I was promised a full coverage warranty; everything except wearable parts. After over four hours of being there, with lots of apologies for taking so long because the car was parked behind several other cars and trouble finding the keys, they would not honor the internet price. Anthony Toresco, general sales mgr. tried telling me that the price reflected the possible rebates listed in the ad (that was not the way the add read in English). We agreed upon a decent price, above the internet price, but below window sticker price. I was going to pay cash for the car, Boris Glikstein, general mgr. encouraged me to take out a loan and said I can pay it off whenever I want because they get a kick back from the loan company. Since the car is full of electronics and is four wheel drive, I definitely wanted a warranty to especially cover these items. Steven Chepovetsky finance mgr. promised me the warranty will cover all of these items and that I would be able to go to any Infiniti dealer and they will honor this warranty. When the paper signing was over, he put papers in an envelope, stapled it and handed it to me and said all the paper work is in the envelope. When I got home a couple of days later and opened the envelope there was no warranty information or contract in the envelope; only the sales contract and loan paper, with a higher interest rate than Anthony said it would be. I called and emailed Steven and told him I did not receive the warranty papers. After several emails, phone calls and promises to mail me the contract, it took him three weeks to finally email a copy to me. AND it was the wrong contract! It was a basic contract and didn't cover anything I requested. Again, several phone calls and emails later, now ccing Boris on the emails, it took several more weeks to get another contract emailed to me, STILL not an official copy. And STILL not covering what Steven had promised. Several of the boxes were not checked on the contract to cover electronics and 4x4 besides other items and he refused to fix it stating it would cost them more money and insisted these items would be covered. I may not be a lawyer, but the contract is in plain English and it plainly states that if those boxes are not checked, they will not be covered. BUT those are the things I wanted covered! I constantly requested my money returned. $3500 plus tax for this warranty! I called DOWC, the company that holds the warranty several times and each time they claimed there is no contract under the contract number or the vin number of the auto. Now I called them six months later and they claim the contract was voided March 5th. I asked about when the contract was put in their system and the woman said there is no history of the tracking of this contract. It is seven months after I purchased this auto and I don't have my money back! To boot, when I took the auto for inspection when I received my plates, the brakes would not pass inspection! They sold me a car with inferior brakes. I could have had an accident! So, $3,495. plus tax, seven months interest, $200 to have my brakes replaced. And the best is, I get an email from them every three months to have my car in for service, are they kidding me?? Why would I want them to even touch the car? KEEP AWAY FROM AMG!!! read more

Been searching online for an Audi A8L for the longest. Finally found the car on true car.com which led me to AMG auto. Put in my information to get a callback which I received a minute after I pressed send. The Internet sales clerk informed me that the car was available and ready and scheduled me for a 10 AM test drive. This was two days in advance. I then received a follow-up phone call the day before my schedule test drive to make sure that I would arrive. The morning of my scheduled test drive I gave a call to AMG auto, to confirm my appointment and the car. I drive an hour and a half from Philadelphia to get there only to find out the car has been taken to the Audi dealership for a recall. Immediately, the sales manager tried to show me a different car. They have no idea who scheduled my appt. They have no idea who followed up with me on the phone. Be aware of this dealership and they're shady business. Be aware of the bait and switch. We were looking to sell our sports car and submitted the details of the vehicle to Kelley Blue Book online for their "Instant Cash Offer" program. We received an interest from AMG Auto, a participating dealer in the program, who reached out to us several times based on the offer which is advertised through the KBB program to be a guaranteed offer, contingent on the actual inspection of the vehicle by the participating dealer which is understandable. Their emails kept stressing how much they wanted the car and to please contact them. When we arrived at the dealership at the appointed time, we were greeted by the salesman, Eugene, who was very nice. He inspected the car and test drove it. He was very impressed with its excellent condition, extremely low mileage, lien-free and the fact that it has been garage kept, under cover and never exposed to any adverse weather conditions in its 14 year history. Eugene ran the KBB quote again which returned the expected quote of $18,210. We did our valuation research ahead of time and recognized that this instant cash quote is below both trade-in and private sale value but were happy with it considering the convenience of not having to invest in the time of trying to find a private buyer. Eugene then took the KBB instant cash offer and his inspection details to the manager, Tom, for consideration. In less than 5 minutes, Eugene returned from his consultation with Tom only to tell us Tom agreed to buy the car for only $16,000! This was so incredibly disappointing to us. They quickly countered at $17k when we said we expected the KBB quote and nothing less but we were advised that was NOT going to happen. The manager would not even come meet us, inspect the vehicle himself or make any attempt to honor the KBB program quote. This appointment was such a disappointing waste of our time. The only positive...this negative experience allowed us to move on to our next appointment with another dealer in Ewing, NJ. Their staff was SO friendly and welcoming. They were overwhelmed with the excellent condition and pristine maintenance of the vehicle. They made us feel as though it was their privilege to have been given the opportunity to buy the car. They offered us MORE than the KBB quote on their first offer and settled on an ever higher price when we told them we had the tonneau cover for the convertible top along with the custom car cover that we would include. I would not recommend using AMG Auto as a participating dealer if using the KBB Instant Cash Offer program to sell your car. KBB will be advised as well that their quotes are not being honored. read more

Be aware of their business model: they offer a great price on various online sites - once you decided to go with them they try to charge you on top of the advertised price another dealership fee (in my case 2K) for repairs they did (or did not) perform on the car - and a 990 US$ fee for not financing this car with them - don't even think on buying a car with AMG Auto! Brought a X3 for my little girl from the team at AMG Auto and the overall experience was great. The sales process was straight forward and the guys where easy to work with. No sales pressure or tactics basically saw the car on kbb.com, called in to check availability, visited site, met with sales guy, great young man Jazzir Narcisse, looked over car, negotiated a fair price with Boris, put a down payment, came back with daughter for test drive, pulled the trigger, received plates a couple of weeks later and little girl is happy camper. I had been looking for a car and had visited multiple dealers and smaller shops. In the pass, I have always brought my high-end cars directly from a dealer and I had some reservations plus after reading some of the reviews was a bit skeptic. But I must admit the team at AMG Auto won me over and gave me the best deal as I had searched up and down the east coast. The reality is that while there may be some overhead charges you still end up saving $$$$'s on the vehicle as compare to purchasing it from a dealer. If you are in the market for a used car, then get down to AMG and give them a chance to earn your business talk to Jazzir, Boris & Steve and get yourself a great deal. Highly recommended. read more

The car was nice and was a great value, but the whole process ended up being a headache. The car wasn't ready to drive off the lot when I test drove it (which was fine) but it wasn't ready until about 3 or 4 days after they estimated it would be ready. When we went to pick up the car it wasn't detailed yet, they explained I could get it detailed somewhere else and they would reimburse me. I just told them To take $100 off and we'll call it good. After I drove the car off, It took about 2 weeks for the title to come in the mail(which I did find odd that they didn't have it for me to take that day) and when I went to register the car there was damage on the title. The issue was fixed about a week later, but it was a big headache. The other issue I had: the car only had one key (which I wasn't upset about that) but the salesman informed me his service manager could order another key for $150 and mail it to me (which would save money over going to a manufacturer dealership). I gave him the money and 6 weeks later I still don't have the extra key. I didn't want to leave a bad review because I liked the car and price, but the whole process was just a big headache and I wouldn't have purchased from there had I known how much stress the whole experience would cause. read more

My bf and I went there today to look at one of their Range Rovers, after noticing cosmetic issues to the exterior we passed on that suv and asked to test drive 2 others. After searching for 15mins for the keys, the manager Juan came over to say someone had them in their pocket but they didnt know who. No problem, we said we'd test drive another suv. We got in, turned the truck on and it sounded like it was going to die. We noticed half way into the test drive that there was 0 gas in the car, it smelled like old cigarettes and there were burns in the seat. Once it made more noise we decided against it. They found the keys to the other truck, as soon as I turned it on, it made a strange noise and 3 different "faults" lit up on the dash, I went to pull out of the spot and the noise so was so bad we didnt even make it 4 spaces over before stopping and getting out. The sales girl said we had to go back inside to say bye to the manager otherwise she would get into trouble, so we went in, literally waived and said "bye", he didnt even stand up or move from behind the desk. Didnt apologize for the unorganized mess of a dealership called amg. This was a total joke. read more
