I'd rate zero stars if I could. We recently moved to Grove City, and were excited to have bowling nearby. My children love it, and we bowl 1-2 x a week in our previous home town (also an AMF). This bowling alley is TERRIBLE. My parents came into town to visit our new place, and I thought bowling would be fun for all. No. The scores weren't working correctly, the game would reset out of no where, the balls got stuck and failed to return. I went to the desk numerous times to ask for help, and they would tell me they'd keep an eye on it to fix the problem, sent us to another lane, the other lane failed & tried to move us a third time. Everyone in our party was frustrated; and decided to leave before our game was finished. Costumer service was non existent, still charged us for the game that didn't work, keep score, or return balls effectively. WILL NEVER RETURN. read more

do not understaff and do not leave one person to work everything!! i think his name was joe, but he was very sweet and clearly trying his best, but that was ridiculous! leaving one person to run everything on a saturday night is insane, and whoever's higher up needs to do better for their employees. we tried to call twice before showing up, no answer, we waited at the front desk for about 15-20 minutes for someone to help us get into a lane, and then my friend and i waited 35-45 minutes for some fries and wings because this poor guy was doing EVERYTHING. he was clearly tired, and management should've stepped in and helped out at the very least. i feel so awful for him, and he looked so tired. other than that everything was great and he was doing an amazing job considering the circumstances. read more

Bought a Groupon and "rolled on in" as their telephone voicemail states. LOL We were turned away by the manager in charge, he said his location doesn't allow the Groupon on fridays - the fine print on the Groupon states it can be used anytime other than Saturday after 6pm. We stopped in on a Saturday at Lunchtime and Bowled three games. We were greeted immediately by the front desk staff and were well taken care of. They were extremely busy but they got us right in and we were very happy with the overall condition of the facility. The lanes were nice and the building was well maintained and we were more than surprised at the quality of their food. The Bar are was nice and the locker rooms were spacious and clean. Late night bowling calling.... Who dis? Apparently, Buckeye Championships is primo time to bowl, as there was only one other lane in use while we were here. Which is awesome, because my bowling game is frankly in the gutter *Drum-rim-shot* Check in was quick and painless. They will require a card to hold for food and game charges. Everything is billed at the end, which was slightly different, as I've been so used to the old school way of buying time, or number of games. Seating is nice. They have the standard plastic seating for active bowlers and seating closely behind with tables for food, or spectating. Today was not like any other day, though. Today we were slogging it out, sweat pouring, figure impeccable in an attempt to obtain the coveted Jalapeno cup bestowed upon us by AMF's bland nachos. Shoes were laced, balls were selected and the lanes were greased and primed for action. Who would win the coveted Jalapeno cup championship? Would it be Tiffany C. with her mad Nintendo Wii bowling skills, or Paul C. with his determination to NOT be the bottom scorer this time? All in all it was a quick game and with the nachos devoured, and two bud lights downed, with Tiffany rolling two side excuses of gutter balls on the last frame -- Paul held victory, the proud winner of the Jalapeno Cup. The grand total was pricey at $50, but the Jalapeno Cup was worth it. Off into the blistery cold Ohio existence we went, and Paul proudly gleaming in his newly acquired victory. read more

My son used to bowl for his HS and this was their, "home turf," however, even going in to bowl as a family, the service is always impeccable! The food menu has been revamped and much better than before, but sometimes it takes a while to get to you, but when bowling multiple games, that's just fine! Visited on a Saturday night. We thought it would be calm since my husband called earlier in the week and they told him it doesn't get busy until 8:30/9. We walked in at 6:20 and it felt like there were 400 kids birthday parties going on, kids running EVERYWHERE and we hardly saw one empty lane in the place. That was strike 1. They then put us at a lane wedged between 2 birthday parties for 5 year olds. That's just what a group of 4 mid-30's ppl want to be stuck next to. Strike 2. There were no clean tables or really even chairs to sit at. Gross chicken fingers, ketchup, spilled pop everywhere. So disgusting. We needed a beer BAD. $5 Michelob Ultra bottles. Yikes. Strike 3. The only redeeming thing was that you pay per game, not by the hour. Three games and shoe rental for me and my husband was $48. Probably won't be back. read more

They have quite the scam on Mondays. Website says "Monday Mayhem, unlimited bowling after 8 pm." Got there about 8:15pm. When we went to leave rang up over 100$! When we asked about it, the guy at the front laughed and said "well you have to ask for it, so it was per game" - Like what, it's on your website. Stardust is a nice place to bowl. We went on a Saturday afternoon to use a Groupon and it was a no-hassle experience. We were able to quickly get a lane. At other places, my ball would get stuck and I would have to repeatedly call the front desk, but at Stardust, the lanes and related equipment were in good working order and we had no issues. The employees at the service counter were friendly and gave us information on upcoming summer bowling specials. I cannot comment on the food or drinks because we did not order anything. This is a great place for leagues, couples, and families. The prices are reasonable and the facility is clean. read more

When you are bowling on a league or bowling at all you don't have time to wait for the bartender that is gone and came back with her earphones on...I went up twice and stood online and no one. You are an adult working and you should not be allowed to have your music or cell phone headphones on. Your performance should be reduced hours and definitely reduced tips. Your typical bowling alley. Very clean and well kept on the inside, but the parking lot is pretty bare and doesn't draw the eye; just a lot of pavement and paint lines. Bit on the small side; seemed bigger when I was a kid. Not sure on the prices as of 2014 but last time I went it wasn't too much money to play a few games. The arcade is better than most; Soul Caliber and a racer or two. Definitely had a lot of fun spending quarters here as a kid. If I remember correctly, the food takes awhile to make and the taste is alright for bowling alley food. Not expecting gourmet or rare truffles on my pizza but it can be a little pricey. Only bad experience I remember having here was when I was younger; parents reserved a few lanes for a birthday party, and come to find out the day of that the reservation had been canceled by the staff and we weren't informed until we arrived. read more

This is by far the best bowling alley around! My son and I went out to bowl and it's been ages. They were busy with just about all lanes running but not one time did they not greet someone, fix any issues, and our food was hot. We had one issue with our lane and the manager, I believe her name was Britney, was on it! We barely even noticed the issue. We will be coming back soon and we plan on making this a weekly trip or we may join this Sunday league the gentlemen at the desk told us about!! Five stars for Stardust! read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. Went in today to bowl and was treated badly. I own a business and I know about customer service skills and how to treat a customer, they do not know how. I asked for a pair of lanes to practice on and there were at least 8-10 lanes open. The lady working the counters response (being snarky and rude) "Well, I guess so but if someone wants to bowl I'll make you stop and go to one lane" her attitude was not needed. A simple "Yes, you may but if I have to fill the lane I will have to move you to a single lane." Will never to back, went 10 miles away to another location and was treated respectfully. My family and I, all being league bowlers, have been to numerous bowling alleys around the state and even outside of Ohio. We chose to go here over the weekend on Saturday afternoon around 1 pm, it was by far the worst bowling experience I have ever had and we won't be returning. To start off they are over priced at $5.30 a game until 5 pm, luckily for us we all have our own shoes but the shoe rental was over $4 - most places around $2/$2.50. We came in with a group of 7 but because of the prices only 5 decided to bowl 2 games each. When looking around there were about 4 or 5 lanes being used at the time. I asked the man at the front desk for two lanes, he declined my request and was extremely rude and unapologetic. I didn't understand why we couldn't have the two lanes when clearly they had the space, and we were not all paying together. I proceeded to ask why we couldn't have two lanes, he insisted that they were going to "fill up" within the hour and because we only had five people we could only have one lane, yet once again we were not all paying together so we should have been able to get the two separate lanes. We decided to just all get one lane, meaning it took us twice as long to finish our games. We were there for almost 2 hours and the whole time both lanes on either side of us remained empty, which didn't make me too happy considering we had asked for the two lanes that were not given to us. Myself and my family will not be returning here and I will be sure to save anyone else the trip who asks my opinion. read more
