I would avoid these guys for all of the same reasons you see in the other reviews for this company…read more After almost 10 years of minimally acceptable service, they installed a tank with a faulty regulator and I lost a full tank of gas due to leakage over the winter, when the home is not in use. In the spring I called to inform them of this leak and they just came out without permission and replaced all of the gas and charged me to replace the regulator. When I inquired, very politely, about how they might handle a situation like this, one of the owners abruptly responded by saying that they would recommend terminating their service. I happily obliged after paying them for the tank of gas. Save yourself the trouble of dealing with some very unfriendly folk and find a better provider.

( we smelled propane from time to time and was getting more frequent) The lady on the phone was telling me when the tank gets low you will smell it more. I said I'm well aware but it was happening before too. So she said she would put an order in for a tech to call and schedule to come out. Meanwhile she sent someone to fill our tank. Over the next Month or so I called numerous times to inform them the tech had still not called or come. In the summer we do not use our propane and it was depleting more and more so yes I know there was a leak. Still no tech so one day while I was ellensburg I stopped in and talked with the front desk explaining my frustration that I had already lost over 25-30% of my propane that they filled before fixing the tank! The next day a tech came out and yes something needed fixing. I wrote a letter with my payment asking for the equivalent amount of propane lost off my next fill... well just had my tank fill yesterday and nope no discount in fact because of propane prices it's about 200 over what it normally is.. so my question is am I over reacting or am I in the right at asking for reimbursement? I should add our tank is rented so it is on them for it to be working properly.

As a farmer, I've tried to buy things from this store twice, both times unsuccessfully…read more The first time I was looking for pullets. A pullet is a the middle stage between chick and chicken. I called and had a hard time getting the saleswoman to say whether or not they carried certain kinds, despite the fact that their website said they did. Finally she directed me to the man in charge, and he told me they had the pullets I wanted. Only after asking exactly how old they were did I find out they were a little over two weeks old, but "very hardy". Of course they weren't hardy enough to put outside in the coop yet, but he was willing to call them pullets and say they were really hardy, just not hardy enough to be outside or without a heat lamp! That's not hardy, by the way. The second time I tried to buy something from them was when I wanted to make a fence using hardware cloth to protect my garden from gophers. They were unable to sell me the size and length I needed, and didn't offer to order it for me. I said I would look on Amazon and they said OK and hung up. Why don't farm stores sell things farmers need in Yakima? Why is Amazon the only place you can find things like basic fencing or decent chicken feed? Why don't any stores like this sell actual pullets instead of just chicks? Did you know not everyone that has a chicken coop outside has a place to raise chicks inside?

Their refill quote in February was triple the price of propane at gas stations, due to my 'low consumption'. I told them to pound sand and make an appointment with me for tank removal. They sent several tank rental fee letters with past due charges; with no proof of ownership, no past, current or new contract, nothing but a bill; 5 red flags. I called again to refute the charge & they said tank removal would cost me $150; 50% more than a year of rent conveniently. I should send them a past due STORAGE fee. This is America and I will choose who provides my services. They did not acknowledge my first conversation, their story NOW was PW owner "retired"; red flag! Past due charges after I refuse any business with them and tell them to retrieve the tank! SP does not own that contract u had with PW. Shop around. Buy a 60 gallon tank or two and fill at a station. Have a handyman assist. SP's practices will have you paying 2 to 3 times or EVEN MORE than necessary. They downplayed all their negative reviews; red flag! THIS IS AMERICA & unfortunately capitalism can mean the big invisible corporation will force the 5 star local businesses out & jack prices up each time they gobble up another. Self Protection is what SP should stand for; BUYER BEWARE. Thank goodness for YELP! I was lucky to have read up on SP. The sound of my head popping out of nowhere land was LOUD. Do not say yes, do not sign, do accept propane, do not pay for rental or removal I to a company you did not contract with. Ask them to remove your info from your records. Record your phone calls with them, at least take very good notes. Happy & Safe 4th to all; FREEDOM!
