I have a one year rental with Henley and after that I will not use them again nor would recommend…read morethem. We called and spoke with Tabitha about a 120 gallon propane tank. We were told the rental on the tank is $175 and that the propane would be around $340. So total about $515. The day of delivery we paid $670.03. Which was more than we were expecting but we just said it is what it is. Well Friday we got a bill for $192 more dollars. So we called and found out they never charged us for the tank rental plus tax. So the $670 we paid was for $313 in undisclosed fees. So once we figure that out after talking to Brent we're trying to explain that you cannot just not disclose fees and still expect payment. Even if they are mandatory. And he says well Tabitha just answers questions and doesn't give pricing. And the labor we paid already was also for the driver driving to and from my house. Nope that's a service call which we also already paid. Long story short Henleys doesn't disclose their fees and then expects you to still pay more. I wouldn't recommend using them. Brent isn't willing to work with his customers even when they were the one in the wrong.

Called and asked if they filled 20lb tanks with 20lbs of propane because Blue Rhino exchanges are…read moreonly filled to 15lbs and they said they do...so had them fill one and it did weigh 20LBs on my scales at home...came back a few weeks later to fill a 20lb tank by Eric and it weighed 17 lbs... being slighted 3 lbs may not sound that bad, but when your power has been out for 8 days getting a full tank is important, esp when you were told that they fill 20lb tanks with 20lbs of propane a month prior...trust is a bond that can take time to build but can also end suddenly...

However, I pre-paid 750 gallons at $1.79 gallon on 10/21/2013. In January, they partially filled the tank using the $1.79 rate. Today (2/7/2014), I called for a fill and they stated that all pre-pay contracts have been canceled. The new price is $3.899 and that they would have to deliver a minimum of 200 gallons. Although they owed me 550 gallons, I think I could get by the rest of the winter on another 100 gallons if there really is a shortage. They also stated that if the priced dropped before they could deliver in the next two weeks, that i would NOT get the lower price -- I would be locked into the price at the time that I ordered the gas. I do not see how they can cancel my pre-pay contract because of a supply issue, and not honor a price drop if I order now and propane is cheaper in the next two weeks before they deliver the gas to my home. I called Amerigas Co. and they did not cancel pre buy contracts, but they are not taking new customers because they needed to be able to take care of current customers. I called Advanced Propane on 2/7 and they quoted $3.09 per gallon, but they are also not taking new customers. Apparently, I cannot switch companies at this time. The canceled contract, higher than market prices, and the unwillingness to lower my price if the market price changes before my delivery definitely makes me feel that I am being gouged. I plan to update this review if I can reach a settlement with Quality Propane. I am not to fond of this company. We got on the buget plan with an automatic pay. The account has…read morea credit ballance ( in the hundreds) but they will not use the credit ballance and demand that we auto pay. From a consumer stand point this makes no sense at all. The only way to get the credit ballance is to take the account off of auto pay and cancel the budget plan is what I was told. But here is the kicker, to cancel the budget plan you have to pay a penalty of $120.00. I think this company is out to fleace folks just because they can. Seems too big for their own britches.
