Like other reviewers, I'm very impressed with this location and with Erik (I think we might all be spelling his name wrong -- it's an unusual spelling and I can't quite remember it) specifically. These guys took care of me quickly on a busy Friday afternoon, when I got a flat tire while driving a bunch of kids back to Sacramento from a school camping trip. They couldn't have been nicer, and repaired my tire for free when they could easily have just tried to sell me a new tire, which I would've absolutely bought just to get home. They were professional and kind, and even let me charge my dead cell phone. In an age of abysmal customer service, these guys were so so lovely to encounter. read more

I am so grateful for this location. About a month ago, I stopped by America's Tires to have my tire pressure checked. Jonathan helped me, and even though my tires were still in good health, he mentioned that a level five tread might not be ideal for snow or heavy rain when driving in the mountains. Especially, because the tires I owned were not meant for icy conditions anyway. I just got a job in Nevada City and commute quite a bit. I don't have much experience driving in the snow. Jonathan helped me narrow down my tire choices based on what would work best for my 2WD truck. I visited other tire shops in Grass Valley and Auburn to compare prices, but they all tried to steer me toward additional tire options that had worse reviews online but were in the same price range. Two locations even gave me quotes over the phone for the tires I wanted but then changed the price once I arrived at the store. Or said "you need to add the warranty if you get these" which added $150-200 dollars even though the warranty still meant paying $70-100 if you do need to replace the tire. So, I went back to America's Tires. All the employees were incredibly helpful. I truly appreciate the honesty and great customer service at this location. If you're looking for a tire shop you can trust, go to this location! read more

I got a flat tire on the freeway and made it to America's Tire on my spare. I originally came in hoping to find a used tire since I was on a very tight budget, but they don't sell used tires. They do offer free tire repairs, which I think is an amazing service. Unfortunately, my tire couldn't be patched, so I needed a replacement. Eric (I hope I got his name right) went above and beyond to help me. I explained my situation and let him know I was trying to make it until payday later this week. Instead of just trying to sell me the most expensive option, he took the time to find a tire that fit both my vehicle and my budget. read more

I purchased 4 tires on-line yesterday and had them installed today. My appointment was at 9:15am and I was met as soon as I entered the store. The rep was friendly and courteous and had my vehicle in the shop with 15 minutes. The entire service was completed in one hour. There was no upselling of certificates or extras and the transaction was seamless I have been a longstanding customer of ATC and highly recommend this business. read more

Worst customer service! On 8/26/26 after ordering tires I called and made an appointment to have them mounted at 3:30pm. I arrived 5 minutes early and handed over my keys. It took 1 hour and 45 minutes for them to install two tires. Not four. Just two! I've used America's Tires in Auburn for since they opened on four cars at the same time. This is garbage customer service! If they were so short staffed they should have cancelled my appointment. Instead I got treated as indifferent as a tire. Let me sit there and wait until they were ready for me. Totally disrespectful service, absolutely appalling customer service. Complete disregard for their customers time and respect! I'll go to Les Schwab next time. There next door! read more

very impressed with the service at this location. I wandered in lost and confused and Judd took care of my tire situation quickly and understood my price limitations. at no point did I ever feel pressured into a sale. I highly recommend this store read more

These guys are awesome!! They are knowledgeable, experienced and friendly! I had to get tires on my 5x8 trailer as well as a 24' trailer. They accommodated both, flawlessly. I worked with the manager, Pat. But the whole team gets two thumbs up!! read more

Apart from being the best manager Patrick is always going above and beyond for his customers. He also has a strong team behind him with Noe, Judd, Johnathan and back room team killing it ! My daughter's tire went flat so I got it towed here. However, it was after 8 pm on a Sunday night, and they were not open. I was able to stay the night in Auburn so I could be up bright and early to explain to them what I needed. There was not a drop box like some places have to leave the keys and write what I needed. When I arrived in the morning at 830, there were 3 people ahead of me in line. That took about 15 minutes to get to me, but they want to ask you specific questions. I wanted to get just one new tire since the other tires had quite a bit of life in them. However, they do try to sell you on a whole new set. I did almost go with it, but then, I just wanted to get the one tire and save to new tires on her next car that she's getting soon. At this point, ten minutes had gone by and I could see why it takes so long for each person, but i appreciated the time they took to be through. I paid for the tire and left the keys with America's Tire. While inside, I noticed how clean they kept the store. The displays didn't have any dust. The tires looked great! I liked the professionalism and knowledge of the man I was speaking to. I was able to get in and get exactly what my daughter's car needed and he car was ready later that day! Thank you American Tire! read more

Made an appointment and waited in line to check in for 30 minutes. Really painful. Customer reps helped people on the phone and left those of us that actually showed up waiting read more

I worked in the auto industry for 45 years & believe I have a unique perspective when it comes to service & engaging employees at service centers. Today was my 3rd visit to this location (had a set of tires installed on my wife's RDX,that this America's Tire price matched with Costco & another visit for air pressure check)to get my air pressure checked on my GMC. Trevor assisted me and was professional and well trained. He set the pressure to the proper spec's & asked if I wanted a tire inspection/tread depth evaluation? I said sure & he gave me the results without being pushy on up selling. Keep up the good work . read more

This place is the best, I would never go anyplace else. Pat is always extra helpful and all of the services I have had here are fast and smooth! read more

I've never bought any tires or had my vehicle worked on there (and I heard that they're really polite and good). However, when you go to get air in your tires, no one comes out to tell you , "We'll be right with you" or pay attention to you. I've driven away at least five times after waiting for 20 or 30 minutes with no customer service so I cannot say that part of their service is good. read more

We were getting ready to head out with our small trailer loaded up with kayaks for an afternoon at the lake, only to find out that one of the wheels was flat due to a broken stem. :-( We brought it into American Tire, and Ryland had us in and out within minutes! Super helpful, superfast, and service like this is why I always bring my personal vehicles here for new tires. Thank you guys! read more

Got towed to this location overnight with a flat tire - the team went out of their way in the morning to get me the right set of tires for a replacement and worked on my car to get me back on the road. Appreciate their help and especially thankful to Patrick and Judd for quick action and attention to my issue! read more

Tell me, what is the point of making an appointment for the free tire rotation if I have to stand in line for 20 minutes just to check in, while you sell tires to walk-in's? And then it's 45 minutes to rotate my tires?? 3 stars cuz the kid who helped me was great, but please set up a better system or just do away with "appointments". Got there at 11:10 for my 11:15 appointment...told I'd be done at 12:10. Parking lot not even full so it's not like it was extra busy. Not great. read more

If I could give 6 stars I would, whole team is excellent. Pat was insanely helpful and made getting 4 new tires and rims an absolute breeze!

It's super tough to find a good help but when I will find one, I would like to share my experience with my fellow Yelpers! Stopped by to get an evaluation on my two years old Michelin tires. Spencer were fast to help me. I'm impressed with his efficiency, professionalism , and honesty. No, I can easily drive my car with my tires for at least another 5000miles. Yippppeeee. No need to get new tires today! However, I got my tires to be rotated right now. I also got a quote for four new tires and his gave me his expertise on my next four tires. I'm happy and impressed with the customer service and highly recommend this American 's Tires location to everyone. read more

Prompt, professional and quality service. Kudos to the staff for the hustle! Really appreciate the way they do business.

they illegally told my car and now they won't release it because it's one of the popular versions

If you can't honor your appointment times what's the point of having them. Took over 2 hours for tire rotation and one sensor.

Checked car in for puncture repair at 11:00 am and was told it would be done by 3:00 pm. As did not want to drive with punctured tire, I decided to wait until they fixed it. At 3:00 they told me they were backed up and it would be better if I came back the next day. Total waste of time. read more

First of all I have bought my last 2 sets of tires from here and appreciate the free rotation and tire pressure checks. 2 weeks ago I had a rotation. Just yesterday my mechanic tried to change my brake pads but several lugs were stripped. 1 driver rear ! 3 on the front passenger side and my mechanic could not finish the job of changing my brake pads due to the incompetence of whomever over torqued my lug nuts . Consequently Americas Tire sent me a referral to Auto Analytics that said it seems to be a common occurrence with that business and I was the 4th person just today with the same exact issue. And it's always been done by a worker on a Friday. That being said. Maybe Americas Tire needs to spend a little time properly training the men doing the job. I had to drop my car off and walk home so it could be done by morning not that businesses fault though and meanwhile I'll be losing 4 hrs of work because I commute to Sacramento. All due to incompetence . Will not be buying my next set of tires from Americas Tire. That's for sure. read more

Extremely competitive prices! They're a busy tire store, but very thorough and efficient in their work! Every vehicle we have has had tires and service completed here. Highly recommended! read more

Came in for a free tire rotation and was helped by Eryk. He greeted me with a smile and handshake, explained everything clearly, and had a great attitude. Super friendly, professional, and the service was finished ahead of schedule. Great experience! read more

Ordered two tires for the rear, waited to have them installed when I arrived. Then when it came to install I got notified they cross threaded the stud and as a result the lug nut sheared the bolt. I don't understand basics auto anything would have you hand tighten the nut first to prevent a cross thread. Stop starting it with an impact. Teach your techs or fire them. I shouldn't have to be inconvenienced over something like that. They offered to pay for repairs but that doesn't justify the inconvenience. read more

Erik and Patrick were great to work with. I have been going to America's Tire for decades.

I called this morning looking for truck tires for my Titan. Cliff took the time to explain all the benefits of going through American Tire opposed to purchasing on-line. I had a flat on my 2017 Lamborghini. Had the car towed in for new tires I had ordered. I received a call from the manager Trevor that the tire lug lock nut socket was missing from the car. I said I had never used it since I had owned the car. Instead of telling I would need to get one before he could work on the car he informed me, if I did not object, he would locate one so they could complete the service. I was not use to this type of customer service. I really appreciated Trevor going the extra mile to take care of me. Not that many business have that good of customer service. read more

I'm happy to make the short drive to Auburn from Grass Valley for tire & wheel concerns. In my experience I try to avoid people in the grass valley/ Nevada city area when it comes to professionalism, competence & value, they more often than not seem to fall very short. America's tire in Auburn is a different story, every time I've ever come here they have been great. A fair value, great customer service and they get it right the first time. Ive never had to return after a service due to incompetence like I've had to here locally- a BIG thank you for that! Great staff, good quality, kindness & a fair value goes a long way, I appreciate your work! read more
