My daughter's tire went flat so I got it towed here. However, it was after 8 pm on a Sunday night, and they were not open. I was able to stay the night in Auburn so I could be up bright and early to explain to them what I needed. There was not a drop box like some places have to leave the keys and write what I needed. When I arrived in the morning at 830, there were 3 people ahead of me in line. That took about 15 minutes to get to me, but they want to ask you specific questions. I wanted to get just one new tire since the other tires had quite a bit of life in them. However, they do try to sell you on a whole new set. I did almost go with it, but then, I just wanted to get the one tire and save to new tires on her next car that she's getting soon. At this point, ten minutes had gone by and I could see why it takes so long for each person, but i appreciated the time they took to be through. I paid for the tire and left the keys with America's Tire. While inside, I noticed how clean they kept the store. The displays didn't have any dust. The tires looked great! I liked the professionalism and knowledge of the man I was speaking to. I was able to get in and get exactly what my daughter's car needed and he car was ready later that day! Today was my 3rd visit to this location (had a set of tires installed on my wife's RDX,that this America's Tire price matched with Costco & another visit for air pressure check)to get my air pressure checked on my GMC. Tell me, what is the point of making an appointment for the free tire rotation if I have to stand in line for 20 minutes just to check in, while you sell tires to walk-in's? And then it's 45 minutes to rotate my tires?? 3 stars cuz the kid who helped me was great, but please set up a better system or just do away with "appointments". Got there at 11:10 for my 11:15 appointment...told I'd be done at 12:10. Parking lot not even full so it's not like it was extra busy. Not great. read more

Checked car in for puncture repair at 11:00 am and was told it would be done by 3:00 pm. As did not want to drive with punctured tire, I decided to wait until they fixed it. At 3:00 they told me they were backed up and it would be better if I came back the next day. Total waste of time. read more

Spencer were fast to help me. I'm impressed with his efficiency, professionalism , and honesty. No, I can easily drive my car with my tires for at least another 5000miles. Yippppeeee. No need to get new tires today! However, I got my tires to be rotated right now. I also got a quote for four new tires and his gave me his expertise on my next four tires. If you can't honor your appointment times what's the point of having them. Took over 2 hours for tire rotation and one sensor.

First of all I have bought my last 2 sets of tires from here and appreciate the free rotation and tire pressure checks. 2 weeks ago I had a rotation. Just yesterday my mechanic tried to change my brake pads but several lugs were stripped. 1 driver rear ! 3 on the front passenger side and my mechanic could not finish the job of changing my brake pads due to the incompetence of whomever over torqued my lug nuts . Consequently Americas Tire sent me a referral to Auto Analytics that said it seems to be a common occurrence with that business and I was the 4th person just today with the same exact issue. And it's always been done by a worker on a Friday. That being said. Maybe Americas Tire needs to spend a little time properly training the men doing the job. I had to drop my car off and walk home so it could be done by morning not that businesses fault though and meanwhile I'll be losing 4 hrs of work because I commute to Sacramento. All due to incompetence . Will not be buying my next set of tires from Americas Tire. That's for sure. read more

Ordered two tires for the rear, waited to have them installed when I arrived. Then when it came to install I got notified they cross threaded the stud and as a result the lug nut sheared the bolt. I don't understand basics auto anything would have you hand tighten the nut first to prevent a cross thread. Stop starting it with an impact. Teach your techs or fire them. I shouldn't have to be inconvenienced over something like that. They offered to pay for repairs but that doesn't justify the inconvenience. read more

I had a flat on my 2017 Lamborghini. Had the car towed in for new tires I had ordered. I received a call from the manager Trevor that the tire lug lock nut socket was missing from the car. I said I had never used it since I had owned the car. Instead of telling I would need to get one before he could work on the car he informed me, if I did not object, he would locate one so they could complete the service. I was not use to this type of customer service. I really appreciated Trevor going the extra mile to take care of me. Not that many business have that good of customer service. read more

Excellent service from America's Tire in Auburn. I made the appointment the same morning I had the tires installed. They called me an hour before the appointment to let me know they had a parking spot reserved for me right in front of the service bays. I was in and out in about 45 minutes. They kept me informed as to the status of my car. The staff was courteous and friendly to everyone who came in while I was waiting for my car. I told the marketing manager how surprised I was as great customer service seems to be a thing of the past. Not here, great customer service is alive and well. Highly recommend! read more

In my experience I try to avoid people in the grass valley/ Nevada city area when it comes to professionalism, competence & value, they more often than not seem to fall very short. I brought my truck in for four new tires. They put on the wrong ones after a 1 1/2 hour wait. Then they had to go back and put on the correct ones and after an hour I called to check on the status. I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. It wasn't and I had to wait another 1 1/2 hours! So from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm to get new tires is unacceptable! So frustrating when a customer's time being wasted means nothing! read more

Excellent service! These guys are top notch! I purchased 4 tires from them a couple weeks ago and I noticed the balancing was off. I called Brandon and he said bring it in! We'll squeeze you in to the day, along the way I hit a small wrench and punctured my tire. The not only fixed the balancing problem, they replaced the tire with a brand new one no charge! Business in this day and age should model themselves after this company! I have been a loyal customer now for over ten years, not necessarily at this particular shop, but throughout CA. Today at this particular shop, I go in to get one of my tires patched because of a nail and the sale associate says that I would just need to replace the tire because the tire has some wear on the inside edge of the tire. I have an all-wheel drive, so that would mean I would need to replace all four tires. After talking about pricing, I held off to look online for other places for deals. I ended up ordering some tires, but since it wasn't stocked, I would need to wait for less than a week. While I was shopping online though, I overheard that same sales associate say the same thing to another customer. That customer was definitely angry stating, "That would mean my tire only lasted up to 29K miles!" He also held off and probably left the shop. Before I left, I had my tires aired up and the tech informed me of a nail. I told him that was the reason for me coming there to get it patched up, but I was told by the sales associate that it couldn't be done because of the inside wear. He asked another tech who looked at my tires and thought they were still good. I told him the same thing about what the sales associate said, when I told him who told me that (pointing at a particular sales associate, probably the manager), he said, "Well, if he said that, then that is what I would have to go by." I left to another tire shop (Auburn Tire Service) to get a second opinion. I asked about the wear on the inside edge of the tire. The sales associate said that she wouldn't know unless it's lifted to be able to see it. After getting my tire patched at this place, the tech came out to tell me my car was ready. He said there was wear on the inside edge of the tire, but all I would need to do is rotate my tires as often as I should to balance it out. Of course, I went back to America's Tires to get my deposit for the four tires I had just ordered. My tires are three years old with normal wear and tear, with the inside edge of one tire more worn than the others (btw, not the tire that needed to be patched), but probably still have a good year left based on my driving, conditions, and distance. read more
