I checked in at 7pm on a Friday and they made fresh coffee for me. They have it all day/evening. It was an easy, comfortable, and enjoyable stay. This is where I'll stay when I come back to this area. The only negative thing I can say is that our room keycards stopped working at 9:50 am before we checked out. I can tell that the manager/owner takes pride in the presentation of this location of Best Western. I'd definitely stay here again. After describing our situation, and they convened with their manager, we were given the okay to keep her with us as long as she remained in her cage! That wasn't a hard requirement to meet (she hates leaving it). I'm very thankful to the staff for being accommodating, as my piggy had nowhere else to go. The beds are very comfortable, there are plenty of outlets and USBs, it's right next to the mall, and it seems very clean, with plenty of locks on the doors. The A/C even actually seems to work, which is more than can be said for most hotels! The internet also seems consistent, and usable, which is very nice. My cons are: The curtains are very sheer, and sunlight wakes me up easily. I also dislike the lack of lighting in the room at night, it's very dim. I wish the A/C was a bit quieter (though it's a sacrifice I can make for it actually working!). The main issue is that the TV is at an off placing. You would have to sit horizontally on the bed to be able to watch it, as its on the right-hand-side, not at the foot of the bed where you would imagine a TV to go. But hey! The staff was very nice, it's clean, the A/C and internet works, so it'll do. Thanks again for accommodating my piggy!

Shout out to Melody working the morning breakfast and the front desk simultaneously. She was waaaay too perky so early in the morning! The hotel feels very modern. It seems to be very well kept. All the fixtures, furnishings, elevators, carpets, etc. were in good repair. The lobby and common areas were spotlessly clean. The door locks and keys worked well. Minimal misfires with the key cards. My room was fresh smelling and also very clean. The AC worked very well. Towels and linens were fresh and decent. One interesting thing if you are a member of BW Rewards. If you are willing to forego the housekeeping service, they will credit your account with 500 bonus points for each day you do. The shower curtain in one of the 2 bedrooms we rented was so gross that we all chose to use the shower in the other bathroom. We had to let the water run for a while because it was brown and smelly. They shouldn't even be allowed to rent these out! One bedroom had no where to hang clothes and thw manager told us there was a closet in the living room are we could us. That closet did not have a light and had old furniture and other crap stocked up and no hanging rod. Unfortunately, everything I signed stated no refunds so we knew they would not give us our miney back. The day we checked in the lobby building didn't have electricity. They told my family member just stop back by tonight or in the morning. My family stopped by 3 times and sent the manager texts trying to meet up with her. After we returned from a funeral, the manager showed up yelling at my family member demanding payment. This was after she sent a text message with a photo of her credit card because the manager was not at the desk everytime we stopped by. She said we should have called to make arrangements to meet her. This was ludicrous! We also complained again about the gross accommodations and she said we should have spoke up earlier and she would have moved us. If they had something better why put us in that space to begin with? The pool was green with algae and unsafe for swimming! I notified the desk and they told me it would be cleaned by the next day. The next morning it was still green but lighter. By that evening I asked if the pool was safe for swimming and was told yes. We went out to the pool and there were three people at a table that had been drinking. They had a dog running loose all over the fenced pool area and it charged the gate and started barking viciously. It had no leash evidently. One of them picked up the dog and held it. We went in the gate and went to the other end of the pool. They were loud and using cuss words, and they also put the dog back down! Needless to say, we were unable to stay at the pool. 3. At breakfast the morning we were leaving, I wanted to have a cup of strong coffee to help me with the 6 to 7 hr. drive home. The coffee dispenser was empty. There was an employee emptying the trash and I asked if there might be coffee soon. She responded that she was busy ... "having to clean up all of this mess" and that she would get coffee when she was done. I asked her three times during 10 minute intervals for 30 minutes if there was going to be any coffee. She replied that she was the only one there, she had to clean up all this mess, waving her hands around like the whole dining room as she was sitting in a chair doing nothing. I said that I really would have appreciated coffee with breakfast but she never made an attempt to go make any. I asked the front desk about it and she said it takes a while for the coffee to prove and I told her it had been 30+ minutes. Also, my bill was one amount, and I was charged nearly $60.00 more. When I called to inquire what the EXTRA UNKNOWN charge was for, I was told it was for "incidentals" which I had never heard of before. Nor was it discussed when I made the booking or when I checked in. It looks like I'm going to have to dispute the charge through my credit card in order to get my incidental charge back. I will not pay it! I DO NOT APPRECIATE BAIT AND SWITCH. There's no customer service at this location. I will never stay here or any other Marriott again. They evidently have a new policy...
