This nail shop offers amazing pedicures with the specialist chairs unlike the other nail shops I'n Peckham that offer you a plastic chair and a home foot spa! This is a full sized shop so is very spacious and comfortable the staff are all very friendly and happy to accommodate any needs you may have. This shop also offers beauty treatments such as full body waxing and various false eyelash treatments. This nail shop is a gem amongst stones!

When I walked in they were fairly busy, but still had a spot for a pedicure. I have to say it wasn't unpleasant, but not as nice as the one I had in my old local salon in Forest Hill. It really depends which technician you get - there is one lady particularly who I think is experienced however as a result seems to rush and sometimes hurt when doing to treatment - not what you want! It does the job for a pre holiday pedicure but is rather go to my local in Dulwich now (same set up but better service) when I have the choice, unfortunately it's so good there it gets booked up!!

The team of girls are run by two lovely sisters, who manage it very well, and I understand they would be devastated to learn of any unhappy clients. After soaking my hands and having my cuticles pushed and pulled from my fingers (I think) I was a little bit in awe of the Military Precision that went into making my Manicure-Virgin Hand turn into Shiny Shiny pretty nails. The woman doing my nails seemed like she ran the place and was very - direct with me. I think I kind of liked it.... I'm not a massive girly girl in that way so I don't think a manicure will be a regular thing for me. But if I get invited to a wedding or something I think I'd spend the £10 to have my hands sorted out and pretty. There are a whole range of other things they offer - the pedicure looks pretty good. All at reasonable prices and without the painful small talk.

I happened to stumble upon this place on the way to a friends house last weekend and it was a very…read morepleasant surprise. My gel in-fills needed doing (technically what that means is that I wear a gel wrap on my real nail so that it won't break) and I had half an hour to burn. The gel wrap was filed down really well, so that my nails didn't look fake and thick (the kind of effect that you normally get with acrylic wraps or nail extensions) and when I asked them to clip my nails to the length that I wanted to be, they didn't protest and say 'oh no! That's too short!'. Vy Nails also handle manicures, pedicures, semi permanent make-up and body waxing. My in-fills cost £18:00, which is a bit more than I expected to pay (but a lot less than Nails Inc..) and having said that I was very pleased with the service and the end result.
