She analysed my skin and gave me very useful advice. I visited another two times and was very happy with the service. The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the last time I visited I received terrible service. The beautician ,whose name I didn't find out because she barely spoke to me throughout the whole 40 minutes, was quite rude. The only time she spoke to me was to guide me to the room, ask me to lie down and to take my payment. She asked no questions about my skin and made no attempts to me feel relaxed. As I said I do not know her name but she is an older, eastern european woman. I will go back to the salon but will just make sure I do not get treated by her. Take my advice go to the salon but avoid this terrible beautician.

I really want to write a good review about this place but unfortunately this won't be one…read more I was really happy to see a place like sensensuals in Lewisham as it's so close to home, reasonable prices and just what I wanted! I had previously visited to get a wax treatment and was really happy with the service I received that I booked in for a massage a couple of weeks later.however the service was nowhere near as good. I booked in for an hour massage and it started 10 minutes late which I didn't mind as I wasn't in a rush , however I could feel that the masseur was in a rush and when I checked the time when I had finished changing afterwards I had only received 45 minutes! I think her next client was outside and she may have been keen to get started on time but this wasn't good enough as my treatment shouldn't be cut short. She spent hardly anytime on my back and if she had asked beforehand she would have known that this was my problem area (as it is for many people). I'm also studying massage at the moment and no checks were done beforehand to check for any contraindications. Although I knew I didn't have any I thought it was very unprofessional that they didn't check. I wouldn't return here for a massage and will be returning to other treatment rooms I used before. Although it will be further from home, I'll know that I receive a better service. I would probably only go back for waxing but that would be as a last resort.

We received water before and complementary tea and cookies after so that was very nice as well. We had paid for 90 minute massage and didn't end up with one. It was more like 75 minutes. After we said something about that, they tried to tell us that they started earlier, but since I was looking at my watch, which I always do, I said that was not possible. So they gave us a 10% discount which was satisfactory. We went for a couples massage after traveling for a bit thinking we would like to destress on our holiday. I'd say it was a good experience, not great. We'd probably go to a different massage place next time.

Since it was super close to where we were staying, we decided to give it a shot and we were so glad we did!!! The first time we came here, we got a 60mins couples massage. It was so great that we came back another day and got 90mins! 90mins was perfect. Both times, my masseuse was Nan, and she was amazing! She really pinpointed all the knots on my shoulders and neck and her pressure was on point. My husband got Justyna and Pammy and they were both great as well. It was quite shocking that he enjoyed both masseuses cause no two masseuses are ever the same. So he believes that they might've gone through the same systematic training to ensure consistency and quality. Overall, our two massages were amazing so I definitely recommend checking it out if you're ever in London!

Relax is really handily located in the middle of Covent Garden. The massage rooms are dark, quiet and - well - relaxing. My boyfriend and I booked in to get sports massages at the same time, and they ended up putting us in the couples massage room. I thought couples massages were for fancy-pants aromatherapy relaxation sessions, not elbow-in-your-butt-crying-in-pain-but-the-good-kind sessions. It was amazing. We're going back next week.

At Kobkun Thai Therapy on Essex Road (I haven't tried the one on Upper Street yet), the wonderful woman who rubbed my back, thumbed my arms and stood on my shoulders deserves a prize or trophy for her wonderful acts of humanity. I will admit, that this is the first time I have indulged in a massage in London properly. It's stressful times and after a considerable period of my body lacking attention I jumped on Tinker and cycled down here. I didn't make an appointment but as soon as I walked it, the line of knitting Thai ladies made it very clear this wouldn't be a problem. It smells lovely in here and straight away I felt the worries of the world float away. You walk in and take off your shoes off and fill in a little health form. You then tell them what kind of massage you want and you're taken down into a cosy treatment room. The rooms are lovely, very calming and toasty warm. There is a large futon and pillow on the floor, you're told to strip down to your under crackers and lie on the bed while your lovely lady leaves the room. She then comes back as you lie pretty much starkers on the futon and gives you a good rub. £30 for 30 minutes and when I left I felt like a new woman. Life changing! They told me that they are open until 10.30pm most days so if after work you feel like you need to chill out and you have £30 burning a whole in your pocket, I can think of a lot worse ways to spend your evening.

I had a bit of a strange request (I think it was uncommon, but maybe it's not!) as I called up just the day before my monthly date night with my beau to request a time slot for both of us to get massages in the same room. They had no problem accommodating us. The room was very comfortable, infused with calming scented oils, and so deliciously warm that I forgot the winter weather outside! It was a real treat. BINGO. Hamam was easy to get to, the woman on the phone was delightful and got us booked for two perfect services for each of us, sparing no detail, and we were in. We arrived, and don't be put off if you have to ring the bell - door's locked, and it might take a moment, but we had baths booked and scrub/massage, so we knew we were getting in, but we had no idea how cool and memorable this would be. You could tell there were regulars, happy looking women just in pants, sitting in twos in the steam, or around the common table, rinsing or awaiting scrub or foam; pre-massage. The women who work there are all speaking Turkish, economizing on the pleasantries, because, baby, they are really delivering the goods. Women are getting polished with Turkish coffee, lathered with foam delivered from some kind of oversized cheesecloth tube. It's dynamite. If you've opted for a massage, then a massage you shall get, in a private room in most cases, and very thoughtful, personalized, and leaving you with a very dreamy relaxed yet energized feeling. Anyway, it was a 5 star experience in an affordable, authentic, really sweet caring package.
