Yes, they are in really bad condition. When they get like this I go to American Top Nails for a mani/pedi combo that costs £30. They have those spa, whirlpool, hot tub-like machines with vibrating chairs and jets in the tub where you immerse your feet in water. I love those chairs. They also have really cool nail polish colours to choose from. I always go for Awesome Orange even when it's out of season because I like my toes to look like they're radioactive. Everyone in here is really quite nice and since I'm a regular I know everyone's life story and they know mine. So, if you need a bit of psychotherapy as well as a really good manicure this is the place for you.

If you don't have an appointment its best to get there right when the shop opens. When arrived shortly after opening, the shop was empty. Van did my nails. He was very meticulous as the fill was a lot of work. He was quick yet very efficient. The only downside was that he was unable to bling up my nails. Not sure if he couldn't do it or they just do not do it at this particular nail shop. I found the price to be fair for a full and nail replacement. All in it was £19. The salon isn't high end or fancy but they do an excellent job.

I went in two days ago (12th October 2015) and it was the nail salon inside Tooting Broadway market (amongst many others). Went in with my sister, who did not have any treatments done, for a pedicure. The lady that was giving me a pedicure was a tall Asian lady and from the minute I sat down, all she was doing was talking to her coworker. This is completely fine, but it got to the point where it was excessive and I could tell she was not focusing on giving me the pedicure! After her aggressive conversation with her coworker in a different language I was left with a burning sensation in my heel as my foot was put back in the water. I didn't think anything of it at the time and paid £18 for this rubbish service to a lady who did not give me the time of day. I left the salon and instantly I felt like it was difficult to walk but thought that she had removed my dead skin so that may be normal (never had a pedicure before). Me and my sister sat down for a meal and I looked down at my foot to realise there were two deep cuts in my skin, it looked like it had been cut out of my foot! Feeling cheated and in a lot of pain we decided to call the salon and tell them what had happened. When we arrived and showed them my foot, the lady who had given me the pedicure laughed mockingly and was saying things in a different language to her coworker. I was very upset and unable to walk properly but that was not an issue to them, they laughed and offered to pay £3 back for the shoddy pedicure.
