John, the owner, is a nice guy. His prices are affordable in comparison to other companies. HOWEVER, We rented a tent and string lights for my wedding with him. We were upfront with telling him our desired plan. The tent is for use if it is bad weather only. We wanted to cancel the tent if possible but keep the lights regardless and if no tent is used, poles would be necessary on one side to attach the lights to. He assured us if we were to cancel the tent before 72 hours of the event we would not be charged and he would still be able to do the string lights without a problem. Prior to booking I even gave him the contact information of the venue so he could speak with them and see what was needed. I even sent a photo of the exact set up I wanted. He did not run into any issues UNTIL the week of my wedding when we cancelled the tent because weather was forecast no rain. He said he was unable to do the string lights because it was not "economically feasible to do so." This left me within 3 days of my wedding and no lighting to light an outside dinner and reception area. We ended up having my father in law and other men buy lights from Costco and set everything up themselves.
Long story short, do not trust their word. read more
