American Solera is a great brewery that is situated in the middle of a few of the best breweries in Tulsa. I like all of their offerings which are always plenty. My favorite is the foeder. Solera also offers non alcoholic beverages and some really yummy food. All the bartenders are kind and efficient. They won't make you wait long for a drink. The inside is pretty cool with the brewing machines and equipment out in the open and some really cool modern decor. There is a back room with a loft and separate bar for events in the back. They also often have events like markets or even swaps and bands. I even met Santa there both during Christmas and in the summer for Christmas in July! read more

One of the best breweries in Tulsa. Particularly good with IPAs and limited-run, higher-end session beers. The space is large, so it's good for groups, but the space isn't my favorite, due to its very white, sterile, industrial feel. Can be a bit noisy as well, due to the over abundance of hard surfaces. Not exactly cozy vibes. Feels a bit like an Ikea with its rows of white park bench tables that remind me too much of a high school cafeteria. In Stockholm. I've been here a handful of times & I've always enjoyed myself. I'm not big of a beer person, I'd take a sip here & there (especially being local) & liked what I've tried. I usually stop by when there's a pop-up kitchen + art is on display. The front half is where the beer is, you can catch anything sports related on tv (I come here often for sports too). Plenty of beer to choose from on tap, you can grab some to-go with the fridges they have. You might catch a DJ playing too. Back half is where the kitchen takes place. They have a nice lounge area upstairs that'll have you looking over everything indoor + outdoor. This is where I had OKC's Ma Der Lao Kitchen recently & their food was super good. I had the Crispy Rice Salad. Ever since I found out they were going to be here & saw the menu, the salad was on my mind. Super good, a lot of flavor. We came here on a Tuesday on our way back from Texas, we got here at 8pm & it was hopping. I guess there's like 4 brewery's in this area so the overflow parking lot was almost full. Inside they had bingo going on so it was packed & super loud. There was seating outside & the weather was so nice so I'm glad we had that option. I will say this brewery has a ton of seating so even if it's packed I'm sure you'll be able to find a spot. I looked at the fraught list ahead of time & knew right away wanted the Pistacia, an imperial pistachio stout, it was SO GOOD! I also got the Old friends, oak aged saison & that was good too. I was really impressed to see orange wine, we've tried it a couple of times in Cali & I'm a fan. I wasn't crazy about the one the brewery had but I think it could be refreshing on a hot summer day. We notice there was a small menu & there was a pickle plate we wanted to try. We got an assortment of 3, green beans (my favorite), carrots, & pickles (super spicy). They came in 8oz mason jars & for $3 each I thought that was a generous portion. If for whatever reason we're in OKC again we'd come back. read more

This is one of the great bar hopping locations in Tulsa. Beautiful building and a large outdoor seating areas with long white wooden tables. Music isn't too loud and the indoor AC is great. By far, it is my favorite brewery in Tulsa. You can tell they spend a lot of time on their craft. They have started to get recognition nationally among beer fanatics. I came here when I was visiting Tulsa a couple times. I really enjoyed the environment. It was clean and modern and I could see all the barrel aged items in their barrels. They also have food on the other side through local vendors which is pretty neat. The staff is helpful and I haven't had any negative experiences regarding service. The only complaint are that the prices are a bit higher. I am hoping that they stay they they way they are regarding prices and releases. They have a membership where you can get limited items, but it is costly. I will definitely be back as I stop by everytime I am in town. read more

A very good brewery! Steven and I tried three different beers that they make and we enjoyed them all! The first one we had was the Loral Roberts which was a kolsch which was a nice, airy beer to start with before proceeding to the other two. The next two were IPA's and a new favorite this year New England IPA was the next one we proceeded to drink... the Palate Jack. This beer had everything I love about a New England style IPA. The final beer was The Magic Touch which was a Double IPA and different in taste from the last one. It of course had a bigger ABV but a bit crisper or cleaner as well which was very enjoyable. My friend and I followed our GPS to 1907 BBQ and discovered American Solera Brewery right there next to it. Beer and BBQ go hand in hand so we got our BBQ and then went into the brewery. The brewery is spacious, and seating is plentiful. This location is an industrial area not too far away from downtown and offers plenty of parking. It does not seem like an area that would be busy, but it seems that the brewery is popular and well-known with the locals as there was a good crowd of people here and a line forming at the bar. The menu has a good variety of beers. My friend and I got a flight. We tried the ambient kolach, west coast hays (IPA), foeder cerise (foeder ale), and full sized candy bar (stout). The kolach, IPA, and foeder were decent. The full sized candy bar was terrible. It was very sweet, and it was kind of thick and syrupy. My friend and I both did not enjoy that beer. However, it seems that everyone else enjoyed it as there were plenty of people ordering and downing it. The staff is nice, and this brewery is a good space to hang out at. The brewery does not have food aside from charcuterie. However, you can get food from the food truck, or you can bring your own food. I get that everyone has their own preference for beer so maybe the problem was us and not the full sized candy bar. I really dislike that beer, but the menu has plenty of other options to choose from. read more

When they announced that they were opening up another taproom facility, I was super excited. The new place at 6th and Utica is massive with windows bringing in beautiful natural light. They have seating of all kind, couches for a group, table for six if you're bringing food with you, bar seating and tall table tops if you'd rather stand. They've got two large screen TV's for those into sports and some toys for the kids - or the kid in you! It's sleek, chique and modern, qualities similar to their beers. American Solera is a big name in the craft beer world and I absolutely love their IPAs and stouts. They've gone more into the beer wine hybrids that I haven't quite decided if I like or not. Their stout Dilemma series is always amazing and for this specific visit, they had their Triple Purple Lemur on tap, which was outstandingly amazing. The beers they make are packed full of rich flavors and I always love taking a four pack home with me. read more

This was the first Tulsa brewery we checked out and it was legit--the beers, brewery space, vibes, everything was top-notch. The tap list leaned heavy on the sours and hard seltzers but had a good variety. We ended up trying four or so different beers, and everything was delicious tho the standouts were probably the kolsch and wine-beer hybrid. Just wanted to have some local beer. Went in on a Friday night, maybe 9:30pm, and as we were walking in, one of the workers was all, "Last call!" So I'm like, "Last call? What time is it?" And he goes, "We do things different here." Good to know, pal. Anyway, the beer was just okay, but the big thing is that we felt SO UNWELCOME there. No one was overtly rude, but there was definitely a chilly vibe, and not directed only at us. We left Cabin Boys (next door) to try this place, and after the one beer we were able to order, I just wanted to go back to Cabin Boys, where the atmosphere was fun and the people who worked there seemed not so bothered that we had dared to enter their place of business. read more

I stopped by here yesterday with my wife for some after work drinks. This particular American Solera is located in an industrial area of Tulsa and I decided to come here because they were named the 2nd Best New Brewery in the World for 2016 and Best New Brewery in the United States for 2016 by RateBeer. The inside of this brewery has a small bar in one corner, a couple of coolers with their beer next to that and a couple of tables to sit at. You can also see all of their brewing equipment including their bottling unit and many of the different barrels full of beer and interestingly there is no clear divider to keep you out of that area. Of course I am sure they are watching and if you ventured into it that they would get you out but I don't know that I have seen that before. Anyways this brewery also has an outdoor patio complete with string lights which looks like it could be fun on warmer nights. As I often do whenever I visit a new brewery, I decided to order a flight here. Whenever I saw four spots in the Oklahoma shaped holder I went ahead and ordered 4 beers. They ended up being 6 oz each and the price was up on their chalkboard menu. Thankfully I ordered some of the cheaper things on the menu and so my flight was $17 (still a ton in my opinion) but could have been a lot more as some of the 12% ABV beers were $8/6 oz. In any case the 4 beers that I ordered here were the GOODberry (FOEDER AGED ALE REFERMENTED ON 2ND USE CRANBERRIES 6%), Black & Red & Black & Red (SOUR ALE REFERMENTED ON BLACK & RED RASPBERRIES 5.6%), Dank of Tulsa (DDH IPA W/MOSAIC AND AMARILLO 6.5%), and An Offering Of...Passionfruit ( SOUR IPA W/ PASSION FRUIT 7.3%). All of the beers that I had here were certainly interesting and while I enjoyed each of them, I don't know that all beer drinkers would. My favorite of the bunch was the Black & Red & Black & Red which had a great tartness to it which only helped the sour flavor. An Offering Of...Passionfruit was my second favorite as it really got the flavor of passionfruit into the beer which is not easy to do. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I really enjoyed all of the beer that I had here as most of it was something that I had not seen elsewhere. read more

Driving from Alabama to California and was told I had to stop at American Solera Brewery. Met Matt and Katie (cannot thank you both enough for your hospitality) and picked up some incredible beers to go (due to a timeline.) Had a 9 to 5 (Pale Ale) at 1907 BBQ with my lunch and it was outstanding. Got to my hotel in Texas and chilled a Good Times Greg's Got The Blues and it too is outstanding. Since we come here 1-2 times a week, I can't give this place anything but 5 stars. Some of the best beers I've ever had on a regular basis. They consistently change out their beers and they are consistent delicious. This is one of my favorite breweries of all time and many many others feel the same. I had a really disgusting cocktail and I asked to return it. It was basically pure aperol. It's fine, not every menu item is a hit. Hands down the best brewery in Tulsa. Unique flavors and really creative solid beers. There's a reason they're successful and absolutely worth a visit. The SoBo location is more convenient for me but absolutely should encourage you to get out west to check out their brewery. They have good beers on tap but also able to purchase growlers and growlers. Some select bottles available for take home purchase as well. Outside seating in picnic tables and they have several food trucks so there's munchies available. One unisex bathroom is really the only downside but it's always clean so I'm not annoyed by it. read more
