The moving process was a great experience from the time I called to schedule the move all the way through unpacking every box. A team took care of boxing up my kitchen items, pictures, memorabilia, clothes, etc. in the morning. A crew arrived in the afternoon, and loaded my furniture and the packed boxes. I watched these guys pack my things into the truck like they were playing Tetris--no space was left empty. The truck arrived in Fort Collins two mornings later. The team unloaded the truck and set everything up. None of the furniture was broken, scratched or nicked. I finished unpacking the boxes. Nothing was broken. I was impressed. I made several moves during my time in the military--something was always broken. Moving Guys For Rent is perfection. Everybody I dealt with was professional, personable, proficient and efficient.

POD sales manager in Tyler is lazy , with no mercy…read more I put in exception case for my 78 year old father to have his POD delivered was 12 miles out of the radius we originally put in for the zip code as we did not know where he was moving just yet. The account manager stated that was fine did not provide warning they may not deliver. POD picked up from CA to Tyler Texas but cannot deliver to Trinidad TEXAs literally off The highway exit. When I put in the exception case all reps said yea they will make an exception it's only 12 miles out of the radius. we called on a Saturday another rep answered and asked sales manager he didn't even care just said no not hearing the logisticks then I call back later and the rep just answered and smacked eating his food on call never greeted I call back our account manager Fredrick he stated most likely they will make an exception. Here we are 3 weeks later and the POD is being dropped off at my house to load to a and to drive to Dads and unload again such a simple drop off made complicated from sales manager at PODs in TYLER. We would not mind an extra fee if that's what it took. The sales manager didn't even consider even after all the reps agreed this was unusual this exception was not made then our account rep forwarded our calls to the center. Be ready when using POD service I don't understand their motive or customer care. It seems careless and uncouth. For such a simple process

Though they said they didn't deliver everywhere in TX they would make an exception. They have now transported 2 PODS to Tyler TX and the manager of the location is refusing to deliver & corporate won't do anything about it! This is not TX hospitality at its finest

Original quote was no more than half a day (which I thought was a stretch). They charge by the hour. They arrived at the storage unit at 10:00am. SEVEN HOURS LATER I was presented the invoice that included the time to go get a flat fixed, the hour lunch time, AND the time they spent trying to get the trailer out of the front yard after getting stuck. One star is a stretch....but the two young men that loaded and unload were nice guys. AND they called when they were on their way and were on time. ONLY positives.

They responded back the same day and set up a time to come look at the house and give us a quote. He came out on Thursday and said he would call us on Friday with a quote. Wife and I had agreed we were going to use them, just wait and hear back. Friday came and went with no call. I waited until Saturday and nothing. I emailed the guy that came out to our house. Nothing. I then emailed the owner. Nothing. On Sunday, our moving company called and I explained I had not heard back from packers. He said he would call them. A few hours later, the owner responded with an email asking if we ever heard from the worker that came to our house. The owner explained he was out of town with a sick family member. I responded back that I understood completely but would love to get the quote back and get busy since our move was happening in a couple of days. No response again, from anyone. So we decided at last minute to pack our house and get it ready in two days! Communication has been horrible. The owner seems like a good guy and I understand he has a sick family member. But this is more about his worker that came out and never responded back. It has now been 4 days and we move in 24 hours.
