Anxiety and nerves aside, Prometric made my test day experience as bearable as possible. Simple to find, plenty of parking, signage outside to direct you to the entrance... easy peasy. On entry you check in with the main desk to confirm your appointment, test, and identity. I was given a quick run down of rules, details about my test (length, etc.), and directions to obtain a locker. The lockers are small and cube shaped so don't bring anything too hefty in with you. You're only allowed to bring an ID and locker key into the testing area with you anyways so you might as well leave everything in the car. Security is a priority here, cheating/attempting to cheat is simply not tolerated. You turn out your pockets, expose your shoes/socks if wearing long pants, and are wanded before allowed entry into the testing area. Sounds invasive but really only takes a few seconds. You're allowed wedding jewelry and glasses (which will go through a quick once over). Inside the testing area you have your own cubicle area with computer and noise-cancelling headphones. The headphones were a welcome addition... the woman next to me was physically manifesting her stress...constantly adjusting and flopping down in her chair, sighing, leaning against the cubicle wall. Before long though, the test was over and I was back at the main desk. The staff who were somewhat stoic to begin, softened when handing me my congratulatory letter (my particular exam provided results right after testing). The two employees present during my time there were professional and accommodating. Accommodating in that they answered all of my questions and ushered me through the entire process (as much as they are allowed to for standardized testing). I would not hesitate to schedule another exam here in the future if needed... but hopefully not too soon!!

The clothing bins were truly hit or miss, lots of over picked fast fashion brands. The store associates that I interacted with were friendly and knowledgeable about the store. The in ground floor scales also made checkout incredibly efficient. I was able to leave with 10 name brand items for $16. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend this store to others.

They should go to NH,Maine or CT and watch how they do their rotations. It seems there are plenty of employees in the back that could be prepping the bins to go out on a regular basis. Every time I've been there's a few rotations with no real schedule. Sometimes 45 minutes, sometimes 3 hours. From the looks of the Shop Goodwill site, the workers are busier picking through and pricing up things for the online store instead of just offering them to regular customers who come to hunt for a bargain in the bins. Much nicer staff and management at other Goodwill locations - honestly, why do they call it Goodwill when the workers seem like they don't like their jobs or the customers?

Their payment system is not bad to use, but they recently displayed a discomforting level of incompetence (and what I thought was sleaziness, but I may have overreacted). First, I get an e-mail telling me there is a bill ready for my daughter, but at the wrong college (Wellesley - she is not going to Wellesley). I sent a note saying she is not at Wellesley. I get a "corrected" e-mail telling me there is a bill ready for my daughter, this time at the right college, but the wrong name! (Olivia - her name is not Olivia.) Finally, I get a generic e-mail telling me to log in to my account. I log in (in early September), only to discover that in mid-August they had added a "returned payment fine" of $25 for a problem I had with their system back in early July. Did they tell me in July that there was going to be a fine? No. Why did they wait over a month to add the fine? Did they tell me when they added the fine? No. They just tacked it on to a bill for other (legitimate) expenses, and only told me about it when it was due. (Turns out the university added the fine, not them.) Originally 2 stars. I have asked them to take off the $25 fine. If they do, I will upgrade them to 3 stars. Update: they were quickly responsive to my request, explained that the university, not them, added the $25 charge, and said they would ask the university to waive the $25 charge. Overall, a pretty good response. I am bumping them up to 3 stars.
