I did arrive late and Ms. Brittany said no worries that I would be next. I was so happy because I didn't want to reschedule. When I arrived the office was warm and Ms. Brittany was very friendly. We had a couple of side bar conversations about the state of the world we live in. It was nice to just talk to someone. The process for the procedure was seamless. My paperwork was partial complete so it took me no time to finish. After waiting I was quickly seen by the technician. She was very personable and sweet. She explained the procedures and what I needed to do to get great images. During the process I fell asleep. She told me one of the images had to be done because I moved. I knew I had moved when I woke myself up. She redid it and within 5 minutes I was done. She then explained that a copy would be sent to MRCP and I asked for a copy. She did the copy of images literally in 3 minutes. By the time I came back from the restroom she was done. This was a easy experience and if I ever need an MRI I am most definitely coming here and you should too.

I did some research and found that the UMD ran a Radiation Center at Union Hospital in Elkton. I scheduled an appointment with Union Hospital and Dr. Agarwal and began my treatment. Dr. Agarwal, his support staff of nurses and radiation therapist were very professional, very knowledgeable and had an upbeat, positive attitude that made me upbeat and positive in that I was getting the best treatment by the best team around. My interactions with the MRI group were disappointing. After suffering a back injury, I went into…read morethe ER at LG Health and had an MRI. After being told the radiologist that read the scan interpreted it as a bulging disk, I was discharged to home with pain, numbness and weakness of my leg. I suffered through the next 2 weeks before my primary doctor referred me to a neurosurgeon for follow up. At that office visit, I was told that the radiologist at the MRI group misinterpreted the MRI and that I indeed had a left far lateral disk herniation. I read up on this diagnosis and it can be commonly missed by radiology. I did receive a bill for there diagnostic service but I refused to pay for a misread MRI causing me a delay in treatment and pain and suffering. After disputing the bill, I was told that the radiology would not change her opinion and that I would need to pay the bill. Right now I am awaiting surgery to repair that disk herniation. This radiologist won't admit her mistake and is arrogant and conceited (I even sent over the documentation from the neurosurgeons notes). Obviously they don't care about their patients, just their wallets!!

I had a schedule MRI at this location. Its was an early morning appointment. The office space and…read morebuilding was so quiet and relaxing. I entered into the imaging suite and was in search of the kiosks, as my chart instructions for a quick and efficient check in, was to scan the QR code that was provided. As I was I was probably looking confused, a lady quickly asked if I had an appointment, verified info I provided and told me I was checked in and someone would be out to get me. There were about 4 other people in the waiting room that seems to seat comfortably 35-40 people. I waited about 10 minutes and was taken back to prep for the imaging. Staff were friendly and efficient. All areas were clean appearing. The MRI imaging table and techniques hurt my back and was very uncomfortable. At some point I think I was forgotten about as there was a 5+ minute pause in the scan. I had a bi lateral imaging done so the first side was 12 minutes and the other side was about 20. It was too long for no cushion under my legs or back. I would come back to this location in the early morning as today. (Before daylight)

I tried to look at it but you can't hear it cause of the tapping from the test. They do provide ear plugs and tv has closed caption on the screen for you to read it. You have to take your eye glasses off for the test, therefore you can't see. Jan was the best and she tells you how long each MRI picture was going to take.

Not claustrophobic, when you have to do a head MRI. It is very open. You can see the window where…read morethe operator is which is a two or three steps away from your room so you know they're right there. You can also watch television, which is a good distraction.
