Due to hurricane Idalia and some strong wind storms recently some of the screws had raised up. Michael Pittman and Son Roofing is licensed and insured, which was very important to me as a customer as the pitch on my roof is very steep. We met with Michael and Son, they reviewed the issue of raised screws, made the recommendation to replace all current screws with an improved, slightly larger screw. We approved the quote for the work and was placed on the schedule. Crew worked very efficiently, cleaned up all screws removed, replaced the roof vent boots and caulked all boots against water intrusion. Communications via voice, email and text to keep us updated on the schedule and work being completed was excellent. Trevor Pittman was on site while the screw replacement was being completed. We feel we received an excellent job with the right company for our needs at a very good value. Would continue to recommend Michael Pittman and Son Roofing to others without hesitation. We prefer to support local companies whenever we are in need of replacements/repairs to our home.

Roof inspection with some tiles replaced if needed. i was informed by rheumatologist project person when they came he did not have the equipment with him. Project individual called the office, appointment rescheduled. Day they were to come no show, no call. After 6 attempts to contact them, leaving messages someone called. This individual claims they could do it, but not for the amount already paid. Also,they will blow the roof and gutter, not bag or clean up area. the ind that came indicated they will bag all debris. Worthman has lied, changed their story on what they do. Couldn't answer questions. Refused to let me speak to a supervisor. if you read BBA report there are numerous complaints.

I was in the market for a new roof on my Gainesville home and interviewed 3 different companies. I…read moredecided to go with TMT Roofing because after speaking with Tyler and reviewing the estimate he gave me, I had a good feeling. I had seen some of the work they had done on both commercial and residential jobs and liked what I saw. Once I signed the contract, they immediately applied for the permit. Tyler kept me up to date on the actual start date because it was a tentative date (with all the rain we have in Florida, you just never know). They were only off by a few days. Each day, the workers showed up by 8:00 am (close to 7:30 am) and would work through the 90 degree weather and stay until sundown (after 8:00 pm) each night. They were all very friendly and kept the job site very clean. I have not found a roofing nail yet!! The best part about this company is the fact that throughout the entire process of replacing the roof, they would communicate with me via photos (phone calls too). As they were ripping off the roof and finding various areas of water damage due to overhanging trees, the foreman would take pictures and upload them to a photo app that was shared between me (the homeowner), Tyler (salesman) and the foreman. I was able to ask questions via the app as well as call Tyler asking what steps needed to be taken next. This really was beneficial for me. I was not able to be home during the day but I felt that I was notified of various things through the entire process and could actually see what was going on and what needed to be done. Once they fixed the problem areas, they would take pictures showing the completed work. The price of the replacing my roof was not the cheapest but rather a fair price and priced in the median range compared to other quotes I received. Getting the quote only took a few days which was a good indication to me (other companies took up to two weeks to come out an inspect my roof). I definitely recommend TMT Roofing and would most definitely use them again!

Any questions I had - I have never had a roof installed before- so I had no idea what to expect. Garrett helped with all my questions and concerns. I am very satisfied with the service and how my new roof looks, and no leaks! CON- There was one concern that was bothering me. The roofers that were installing the roof brought their ( must have been around four years old) child. I noticed the child in the truck when they pulled up to my house, but I figured they would be taking him home after they dropped off equipment, so I wasn't too concerned about it- but they did not bring the child home. When they had their lunch break- my husband went out and went told them the child could stay in our house and be safe from the construction, watch some TV, have a bathroom to use if needed. They told him they were bringing him home after lunch. They did not bring him home. Next thing I know, the child is running around the side of my house, he only had sandals on- with roofing nails, shingles, ect. I was very worried about that child- more than the parents were. They laughed at our concerns. I called True Roofing, and they had no idea about this. The child was there for the whole day- from around 8am to 6pm. No place for a young child. This was the only problem I had with this company, and wanted to share this so if you need your roof done- to be aware of what's going on with the people who are doing the work. I would have been devastated if anything happened to that child, and let True Roofing know this. Thank goodness that child was okay after the job was done- they didn't put safety shoes on him- and afterwards, when I went outside, the were roofing nails pointed up- so, it was very concerning. I wasn't sure how to handle this situation, honestly. I called True Roofing and told them, texted a picture of the child. Be aware, folks. Be home when you're having construction done and be aware of everything going on with it. After the job was finished, I spoke with Garrett, told him I was very happy with the roof- and asked about the child, if they spoke with the parents and he said it was taken care of- which I really hope it was. I needed to share this with you people out there and let you know, so you are aware this can- and DID happen. I do recommend this company to people- but keep watch on what's going on while it's being installed. Thank you for reading and letting me share. Not only did Kilburn Construction repair the Hardy Board and underlying plywood, but they also brought the entire area "up to code." It looks better now than when we purchased our home. Polite, neat, and efficient, they left no trash or debris as they were doing their work. Chris is so knowledgeable he corrected additional problems we acquired from our original builder and gave us solid advice for our future painting project.
