Outstanding! The only way to shop for mattresses now…read more Hassleless Mattress is a chain of showrooms in Wisconsin in Illinois with NO company employees (read: commissioned salesmen) on site. The doors open automatically at 9:00 am and lock up at 9:00 pm. Inside this brand new, immaculately clean showroom on Sheffield in Chicago is a wide selection of about 35 fully configured mattresses on display. They carry the major brand names: Serta, Beauty Rest and different types: memory foam, gel memory foam, hybrid and traditional. You can spend as much time as you want, wandering around and trying them out for feel. No creepy salesman on your tail, breathing down your neck. BTDT. This is also an opportunity to learn, at your leisure, about the different mattress types. It's not simple, given the multiplicities of construction available now. There is an 800 number you can call with questions or to order. Ordering can also be accomplished at the in-store kiosk or online. Prices seem comparable to the other retail stores and are clearly posted. But be prepared for sticker shock. Mattresses everywhere are crazy expensive. Probably because they try to build all this technology into them. Mattress buying has always been a crap shoot because the manufacturers deliberately deliberately obfuscate the market by putting different names on mattresses they distribute to various retailers so they can't compete on price. This place is still part of that. The restroom is also immaculately clean. Located exactly at the intersection of Willow, Sheffield and Clyborn in a small strip mall. I have just begun to shop so can't comment further about their ordering and delivery. But for a mattress shopping freebie, this is the place to check out first.

It takes a minute to get comfortable but once we did, we were able to try beds without any pressure. We left not knowing what we wanted but knowing we could return at anytime so we slept on it and came back 2 weeks later with our choices narrowed down. We tried our beds again and easily made our purchase online. Financing and delivery was a breeze. We LOVE our new mattress and adjustable base. It was a tremendous value and we are sleeping very well. Like the video running in the store says, "What could be easier than that?" I highly recommend checking this place out for high quality mattresses at fair prices without the hassle.

With the epidemic, the wait for furniture items is much longer than normal and there can be delays. They made a very good estimate of when the furniture items would be made available. They had regular email updates regarding whether the item was in or not (doesn't sound like a big deal, but much better than other places where you have to keep track of when they say it, "might be in," and then continuously call to see if it came, only to be told there is another delay). 4. The item I purchased, a small kitchen tablet set, came on time and was of good quality for the price. The only thing slightly annoying was that some of the reps didn't have their masks on covering their face (They might want to look into this because I'm guessing a lot of people don't care, but a good segment of customers will just turn around and leave if they see this - we were looking for an accent cabinet that they didn't have, if they had it but the rep wasn't wearing their mask, we would have left rather than work with that person).

I sustained a back injury and just could no longer sleep on such a plush mattress. The salesman (I apologize I can't remember his name) did a wonderful job showing us around all the different kinds of mattresses at different price points and was extremely patient with us. He showed us the stuff they had on special offer and what kinds of deals he could work with us on. We ended up deciding on a mattress then and there, and got our new mattress delivered two days later. *Note: If you want to keep your old mattress be VERY clear to the delivery drivers. Without asking, they took my old mattress and slashed a huge, almost 3ft gash in the bottom of my pristine white mattress. The mattress itself was perfectly fine and I had intended on keeping it, but they just assumed for some reason that I didn't want it. The salesman at the mattress store informed me that they offer a free mattress removal service, which I adamently declined. Apparently this does not get translated to the delivery drivers, so just make sure you let them know. Now with all that being said, after I calledthe mattress store back, they replaced my now damaged mattress with a brand new one. Their customer service is amazing and they handled the situation quickly and efficiently. Even ony initial call to them, I was very upset, but he (Regional Manager, I believe his name was AJ) immediately offered to replace the mattress, with next day delivery. Amazing location, amazing company. Definately go here for your next mattress purchase.

A $30,000 to $35,000 mistake…read more I purchased a ViSpring Tiara mattress, matching foundation, and horsehair topper from [store name]. The salesperson I dealt with was knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant throughout the process. I also tried the mattress several times before buying it, usually for about 10 minutes and once for close to half an hour. So, my review is based on the product that I absolutely hate and is one of the largest financial mistakes I have made, and not towards my salesperson whom I liked. Sadly when a product is so bad, and the outcome so poor, the end result is bad for all involved. Unfortunately, I have been extremely unhappy with the bed. My side is medium tension, which was recommended for my weight and was supposed to be the right configuration. It has not been. The mattress is uncomfortable, my back hurts, and I do not sleep well on it. I also removed the horsehair topper to see whether that was the problem. It was not. The mattress remained very uncomfortable. I recently contacted the store about purchasing another ViSpring topper that my salesperson thought would work better in my case, and in one final attempt to make the bed work. After spending roughly $30,000 to $35,000, I was offered only a 10% discount. They were not obligated to offer anything, but I found that disappointing given the amount I had already spent and the fact that the bed had not worked for me. Felt they took no responsibility for the product they represent. I understand that mattress comfort is personal, and this mattress may work well for someone else. But at the end of the day, knowledgeable and professional service does not help much when the product does not work for the customer, particularly after such a significant purchase. I tell you how bad this mattress is. Flying a lot, staying at normal business hotels at times, i find the beds at those normal hotels, even in Japan where the beds can at times be as hard as the flooring, more comfortable. They recommended ViSpring to me over Hastens, especially given the upkeep the Hastens need. We have a couple of Duxianas at home, their top model and their entry level one. Ironically Duxiana entry level is the very best of the bunch. Also have another mattress that we bought in NZ. That is very good also but you cannot find it in Chicago, and by the time you ship it here, you might as well buy the Savoir! Even taking a nap on the couch at times, i wake up and feel much better than sleeping on the ViSpring. Serious. My advice is to be extremely careful. Spend as much time as possible testing the exact mattress, foundation, firmness, and topper combination. Do not assume that the ViSpring name, beautiful materials, or recommended firmness will guarantee comfort. For me, this was a $30,000 to $35,000 mistake.

After too many experiences wasting money and personal time at "chain" stores like Bed, Bath & Beyond, I decided to make an investment in my purchases instead of settling for poor quality from department stores. I have wasted thousands of dollars on purchases only to throw them away and purchase a higher quality and more expensive version of the same product. Now, I spend time researching smaller stores who have an expertise in a specific area of the product I am looking for. Walking into Chicago Luxury Beds at 440 North Wells Street in Chicago, IL was a breath of fresh air and a positive change of pace for me. I was immediately greeted by Robert who epitomizes what we want from others when we walk into a place of business. He was knowledgeable about the products in the store while being warm and caring as well. Robert was articulate with a warm demeanor and no high pressure sales. Henry soon joined our conversation as I had many questions about the products and services. Both of these men spent time with me to ensure I was selecting exactly what I was hoping to buy. The selection offered was extensive so finding the exact match to what I was looking for took a great deal of time but both Robert and Henry seem to enjoy spending this time with me. I am very happy with my selections and there is no doubt I will be back to purchase some other items that caught my attention when I was there. Thank you Robert and Henry - you are the "real deal" and I appreciate the new relationship with Chicago Luxury Beds!

Luis was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable without being pushy at all. When I went in, I first found out their delivery availability and had to move fast (like 15 min fast) to secure a same day delivery spot. With the horrible "sleep" on the air mattress in the back of my mind, I was a no-nonsense shopper. I told them what we had before, our sleep habits, our budget, and asked to try the 3 most comparable beds. Luis was on his A-game and met the challenge well. There was no pressure to buy the most expensive option or increase the budget as I've experienced in the past. Luis totally respected our budget which I appreciated. I was a bit on the fence of trying the newer hybrid memory foam bed and the traditional spring bed especially since I was bed shopping sans husband. His assurance that we could exchange the bed within 120 days was comforting. It helped us go the Beautyrest Alcove Hybrid which we love. Luis also told me to check in on yelp for a discount.
