Learned a lot about the group that owns this spot from our friendly bartenders. Drinks were good, the playlist matched the loungey vibe, and the prices were in line with what you'd expect (gratuity included). Overall, a nice early nightcap. We did pop our head in last year around 10:00 p.m., and the place was ramping up. I've no doubt it's a great scene the later you get.

My biggest complaint is that it was often difficult to hear him. A microphone would make a huge difference, especially in a room where ambient noise can compete with the performance. The drinks were hit or miss. Some were enjoyable, while others fell flat, making the beverage experience feel a bit inconsistent. Overall, the concept is creative, the venue is charming, and the show is worth seeing, but there are a few areas that could be improved to make the experience feel more polished.

And the general experience of being on a rooftop watching a movie was still as fun and novel as you'd expect. Bathrooms were fine, parking was easy. Miami City Ballet School is across the street & Miami Beach Regional Library is in close proximity to The Bass. Once you arrive onto the property, you see Ugo Rondinone's "Miami Mountain", a unique & beautiful public sculpture. It is definitely a treat walking towards the entrance to the museum. When we arrived inside, we were welcomed by lovely Greeters at the Admission Area. The Bass is a quaint, intimate-enough smart space. Highlights included "Selections From the Permanent Collection" & Artist Tavares Strachan's "We Belong Here". Nam June Paik: The Miami Years Exhibit displayed the South Korean Artist's creations via use of mixed media, electronic/ digital objects & images.
