I've been to quite a few posts in my time, but this one really takes the cake. As with most American Legion posts, this is a smoking establishment, and for me it's one of the many perks because I can puff a stogie without folks looking at me sideways. That being said though, the air quality is impressive. I counted 5 massive air filters hanging from the ceiling, and they were working overtime. But if the smoke is still too much for those with allergies, there is a large oak-shaded deck outside with a view of the trail, and since the post location is only a block away from the Gulf of Mexico, there is always a breeze. But if that wasn't good enough, how about $1 domestic drafts? Any time, any day. Pure insanity. How about Sunday breakfasts? A game called Show Me the Money every final Saturday? $3 burgers on burger days? PCs set up so Vets can hop on the internet or play slot games? Yes, sign me up please! Friendly staff, extremely clean, organized, great location, excellent prices and a Hanoi Jane urinal target =)

Way cool!

What's not to like about this place. Cool outside seating with a huge parachute over the deck. Ice cold beers and lots of friendly people enjoying life

Look if you are in Dunedin or riding your bike on the trail before 11 o'clock and want some decent breakfast for a killer price.

I am leaving FCCP but before I do I want anyone interested in joining FCCP to know why…read more In September 2017 I paid $1,699 to go on the Birding and Natural History Photo Tour to the Dry Tortugas trip in March 2018. The trip was organized by FCCP Director Jeff Donald. A few weeks later I had a conflict and was no longer able to make the trip. I requested a refund and never received one. I didn't receive any reply from Jeff or anyone else. After a few weeks, I started to be concerned, and I rearranged my plans so I could make the trip after all. I informed Jeff that I was able to make the trip after all, but again never heard from him. I posted messages on the trip post, made numerous phone calls, and sent many emails. I even reached out to an FCCP assistant who sent an email to Jeff on my behalf, but still never received any response from him. In March 2018, I received notification that the trip had been postponed by one year. Once again I sent Jeff emails requesting a refund because I could not make the new date. I have never received a response. I couldn't get refunds from American Express or Paypal because too much time had passed. Meetup can only help if payment is made through the Meetup payment processor. I did not buy trip cancellation insurance because, at payment time, the site clearly stated that in the event of a cancellation or a change in the date, FCCP will refund the money. Caveat emptor.

Our Mission Dunedin Cares Food Pantry will strive to alleviate hunger by providing food to the local community, showing kindness, respect, and compassion as neighbors help neighbors. How? We receive food and money from our community corporations, schools, churches, local businesses, HOA's, other Non Profits, lots of individuals, and over 16,900 volunteer hours. Why in Dunedin? Statistics indicated that even in our delightful city of Dunedin, Florida, there were pockets of people who are "food insecure", where children go to bed hungry and the elderly choose to purchase their medication over food.
