This by far the newest/cleanest Chuck E. Cheese I've been to…read more We came here for a birthday party. We've been to the Carrolwood and the Clearwater Chuck E. Cheese and this one is definitely newer. You can tell it's less dingy. The one major difference though is there isn't as much to do for littler kids (think three and under). The one in Carrolwood has more rides for the littlest ones, whereas this one is pretty much all games. It was great for my five year old, who really enjoyed himself. It was pretty busy at 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. on a Saturday, but most of the time the kids didn't have to wait to play games. If you were waiting, it was for someone to finish playing in front of you. The one place that was a super long line was to redeem tickets for toys. Before we left, I saw it get really really long. They need a way to make that more efficient. Otherwise, this is a great place to throw a birthday party. There's plenty of parking and it's close to the Krate in case people want to check it out after (we did.) The kids got pizza, drinks and dippin dots, (the dippin dots were a nice surprise). They also got two hours of game play, which by the end felt like a long time (probably not for the kids, but it did for me). There are a lot of lights and sounds, so if that overwhelms you, this isn't the spot for you. Even the Chuck E. Cheese mascot seems cleaner. I have to say if you live close by, you're lucky that you get to come to this one.

I'd like to petition that if someone has a monthly membership, that the bounce house and adventure…read morezone price is lowered to $5. 10-12$ to play per day is wild. The point of the membership is to make Chuck E Cheese the go-to for parents to let their children play. It is suppose to be convenient. If I come everyday to play, I would be more enticed to purchase the play zone area if the price were lowered. In reality, that would be $25 a week, and I would be more certain to purchase it every time. With the playhouse being wrist-band only, you kind of are put in a position where you have to buy the play zone area every time you come, because the area is usually unattended so children feel free to go play (as they should) and are extremely disappointed and probably confused when they are kicked out or told they have to get off. When I was a kid, the play area was free. If you are going to charge for the play zone, charge on weekends only $15 and please lower the price for parents with memberships. I love the management of the location, very kind. But the pricing of the play area is why I am giving this a 2/5. Otherwise; I appreciate Chuck E Cheese. I've been going since I was a child over 20 years ago, and want to bring my children to enjoy it in the way that I did.

This is the second time we've had a "do" here. Once 7 years ago in a private room which was good…read more Last Saturday our group of 14 met in the lower level restaurant for a Christmas dinner. The place is impeccably decorated upstairs and down for the holiday. If dropped off in the front there is an elevator. If dropped off in the rear it's a short walk no stairs. Parking is a short walk for the driver unless handicapped. The tables were lovely. The ambiance was perfect for our holiday feast on a Saturday night at 5pm. One of the group made the reservation and got us all on the gate list to enter the compound. No biggie. The guard was a good laugh. They were totally prepared and even had a wonderful piano man playing across the room holiday tunes. I love when there is a live piano in a restaurant rather than piped music. They had a lengthy unique menu for the evening so we all chose whatever we wanted be it a drink from the bar, appetizer, great selection of entrees and crazy good desserts. Wife and I split one dessert. The portions are very generous and should be enough for anyone. We had a house salad which was very good and not crazy filling to spoil our appetites. They provided a homemade hard roll also. Wife took 1/2 of her Prime Rib home. My twin Fillet steaks were delicious with two dipping sauces. I used one for meat and the other for the veggies. There were 3 choices for potatoes too. We were all very impressed with the servers, the food the atmosphere. Wonderful. Not rushed out the door like some places. Wouldn't hesitate to go again just as a couple for a special evening meal. Just call ahead due to the gate list. Prices are reasonable for anything comparable in Hernando area. Non members pay about 5%/couple which is no big deal. There was a normal flat rate gratuity for a large group the same as I would leave for any server of quality. We were so happy with the experience I tipped extra and put some money in the piano man's glass. This restaurant is in our top 10 for anywhere in three counties. Good Memories are hard to come by when you are in your 70's. First time I've worn my dinner jacket/no tie in over a year and didn't feel over dressed in Hernando.

Being a multipurpose arcade/restaurant/bowling alley, this establishment does its job fairly well…read more None of my dining experiences have been exceptionally pleasant as the food is pretty subpar, but the arcade at Main Event is a lot of fun. Sometimes games are out of service, but it is not too challenging to locate an employee who is usually quick to fix things and refund your lost credits. My toddler often wants to go bowling, but he loses interest halfway through a game. The people working the front desk usually offer us a good deal where we only pay for the shoes and that is super helpful because I could not imagine paying over $30 to go bowling and having my son give up halfway through the first game. The prize shop has a solid variety of candies/treats and toys that are well priced for their ticketed value. Overall, for fortyish dollars my son and I have a pretty good time gaming for an hour and a half on an ordinary day. Haven't been for a birthday party in a really long time but I know they do a good job hosting kids' birthdays.
