It truly has everything and is completely beautiful. There is tons of parking and it usually isn't too busy. They have yurts, tent camping, and drive in camping. All gorgeous spots. There are 3-4 amazing river access spots. The river has deep spots, shallow, fast, and slow, making it perfect for any speed of swimmer to hang out. There are usually people in floaties and on paddle boards enjoying the area. The view from the suspension bridge that connects the two sections of the park is stunning. It reminds me how much beauty Washington has and gets me choked up just thinking about it. There are endless cool trails to explore, all leading to fun little adventures and scenic views. This is the perfect park to just spend a day getting lost in nature, swimming, having a picnic, or having a leisurely campout.

Or you can come with your car or truck and stay on one of the spots at the beginning. Either way you'll have quick access to the Snoqualmie River with splendid view. You can also fish and have a good time with your kids in this small beach. When you cross the bridge be mindful for other people coming the other way or behind you. There is a sign that you must have some feet in between groups. You'll get to the trail which is at your right. Watch out for bears with cubs. It is a nice trail with pepples at the beginning. Not a good idea for strollers but still can have a great time at the lawn. Easy parking near the baseball field. Good way to spend family time on a weekend.

    Camp Gilead - Camp Gilead

A while back I was talking to a missionary that had served in Hawaii for 9 years…read more He said support was difficult, because people tended to view his "full time mission work" in Hawaii as a full time vacation. I think that sometimes people think of a Christian camp ministry as a "full time vacation" instead of a "full time VOCATION". But in a state that runs rampant with false philosophies, spiritual chaos and people drifting rudderless in an ocean of confusion... we find Camp Gilead - a vitally important camp ministry serving both churched and un-churched children, youth, and families. The camp is an oasis of light and hope in the spiritual wilderness of Washington. Camp Gilead faithfully communicates the message of Christ to the lost, with relevant programs, quality facilities, and a staff with a servants heart. Campers can experience a time of rest and renewal - and then return to the difficulties faced in today's culture with hope! Knowledge of God and His truth have fallen on hard times in our contemporary American culture. We are distracted from thinking deeply about anything... because we are too busy focusing on ourselves and our own entertainment. The ministry of Camp Gilead provides a solution - a temporary haven of rest from the excess sensory stimulation that numbs our minds - providing time and resources to return to what really matters - God. My daughter attended Camp Gilead years ago, and her life was turned around. She then spent a couple of summers working there as a volunteer, and her memories still "run deep". As a father, the camp means alot to me - as the camp represents a place for fun... with a purpose. Josh and Kimberly are always looking for - and making improvements to - the camp, so each year it just keeps getting better. I HIGHLY recommend it!!! John Palma

Just a heads up, the fields get very sunny all day long, so sun protection is a must. The strawberries are fresh and flavorful. We learned the perfect picking trick here: choose fully bright red berries. Avoid the overripe purple ones, as the bright red ones taste the sweetest and have the best texture. Fun activity for friends and families, totally worth the trip.

A PNW Treasure for Families!…read more If you're looking for the perfect family day trip in the Snoqualmie Valley, Remlinger Farms is an absolute must. We had such an incredible time here, and it's easily become one of our favorite local spots. What makes this place special is that it's so much more than just a farm--it's a full-blown experience. Here's why we loved it: The Fun Park: The rides are perfect for younger kids! From the classic kiddie coaster to the charming train ride that loops around the property, there's plenty to keep them entertained for hours. The Animals: The petting zoo was a huge hit. The animals are well-cared for, and it's such a sweet, hands-on way for kids to connect with nature. The Food & Market: You cannot leave without visiting the market. Their famous pies (especially the marionberry!) are legendary for a reason. We also loved the café for a quick, fresh lunch. The Atmosphere: Even when it's busy, the farm has a wonderful, relaxed energy. It's clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the scenery in Carnation is just stunning. Whether you're going for the summer berries, the fall pumpkin patch, or just a weekend outing, Remlinger Farms delivers every time. It's a nostalgic, wholesome, and genuinely fun place to make memories. We'll definitely be back!
