The Eagles used to be a giant club around the country, but is much smaller in recent years. Regardless, the bar was packed on our visit due to a darts league that was playing. They have an old bowling alley that's still active on certain nights, plus darts, and pool tables. There are large restrooms, event rooms, and open areas. The bar itself is large. They have a fun tap selection, not many but some local. Prices are crazy low for members, and glassware clean. The only issue for some is smoking is allowed. The menu hasn't been overcomplicated or reinvented, and that's honestly part of the charm. If you've been coming here for years, it still feels like the Eagle. We came with a group of eight, ordered food and drinks across the table, and everything came out impressively fast. Drinks were quick, food followed right behind, and nothing felt rushed or sloppy. The wings are a standout. They still do wing nights, and you can tell they take them seriously. They use Bell & Evans wings, which are locally sourced and it shows in the quality. We had the sweet heat bone-in wings, which were perfectly cooked with great flavor, and Thee FEHO boneless wings, which were also excellent. We also ordered the flying eagle fries hand-cut fries topped with cheese, bacon, and barbecue sauce. Comfort food done right. You can choose from hand-cut, curly, or extra crispy fries, which is always appreciated. The space itself is small but comfortable classic small town bar vibes with exposed brick, a cozy dining room in the back, and a relaxed bar area up front. It's not fancy, and it's not trying to be. It's just a good place to hang out, have a few drinks, eat solid food, and actually enjoy yourself. Overall, this is a dependable, low key spot with good food, fast service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We've been here many times before and will absolutely keep coming back. By the time we were finally done, most restaurants were already closed. We called this restaurant close to 10 PM, and from the moment the hostess answered the phone, we were treated with such kindness and genuine hospitality. We arrived around 10 PM, and not once did we feel like we were an inconvenience or that anyone was trying to rush us out the door. Quite the opposite. From the hostess, to Chef Suli, to our waitress, everyone was absolutely amazing. They were warm, personal, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. What impressed us even more was the food. Even though it was late, nothing felt rushed. The food was prepared with care, and the food was absolutely amazing! You have to order the Babe's wings, the crab stuffed pretzel,and brisket sandwich with the homemade potato chips everything was delicious ! After such a long, exhausting day, this was exactly what we needed. While great food is always important, it's service like this that truly leaves a lasting impression. We live 2 hours away and aren't able to come often, but this experience was so memorable that next year it will definitely be on our must-visit list. A huge thank you to Chef Suli, our waitress, the hostess, and the entire team for taking such great care of us. You turned the end of a very long day into such a wonderful experience. They took one of the classic homes on Main Street and turned it into a restaurant, with lots of outdoor seating on a patio out front, a bar and high top area in the main room to the right, but quieter dining in the back and upstairs. It's bright and clean, but still keeps that old feel. They have a full menu; this visit I was in with a friend and we both opted for steak dinners, which are served with choice of sides and sauce. Prices are reasonable for the area and quality of the food, but definitely higher than a typical meal out in town. They also have a wonderful beer list, with lots of local choices and fresh kegs. Service was great, we had a friendly server who was attentive all evening. I can definitely see why this place is still around and as popular as ever; if you're looking for something a little more special in the area, this is worth the trip.

The crab cakes were a good size, they were all minced crab meat with seasoning. Nice crisp on outside! The broccoli was tender crisp and buttery. I love salt so I did add to the broccoli and sweet potato fries. The fries were crispy and similar to steak fries cut. These were my favorite with squeezed lemon over the top mmmm!
