All American Burger

Stopped in during a stay over on Hermosa beach. This sports bar vibe location was not far off the boardwalk. We had burgers, chicken strips and a Cobb Salad that were all prepared very well and very tasty. Service was a little slow but other than that our server answered all of our questions and took care of our needs. We would eat here again if in the area.

Everyone had a great time !

Fabulous Oceanside Bar and Grill serving up iconic food with a casual beachside flair Ice cold beers delivered by fabulous bartenders like Zack and Eric. (Awesome service all the way around) TV's everywhere piping in all of the NFL football action with crisp audio Buffalo Chicken Wings were spot on as were the Burgers and Tater Tots Philadelphia Eagles Fans TAKE NOTE! This is an Eagles Bar through and through! Even though some of our group were not Eagles Fans we all felt welcome ! We shall return !

Are you on the beach? Looking for a place to watch a game, have some good food & people watch, then this is the place for you. Come by during happy hour or dinner. Decent bar for with the perfect location.

Hermosa Beach promenade locale. This place rocks. Great spot to see a game! And really what's not to like when you are by the Beach!! So I ordered the Chicken n Waffles, the chicken was flavorful and juicy. The waffle was fluffy and topped with strawberries, and the syrup and butter were on the side. Of course being a Sunday, I ordered a Bloody Mary, it was spot on! The vibe is chill and people are fun and friendly. Now during football season this place pops with games and people cheering for their favorite team. One more thing, the service here was one of the best I've experienced in a long time! Professional, polite , accommodating and with a smile! Oh a big shout out to the server!

Mango Jalapeno Margarita and a frothy, Mayberry IPA beer, delicious choices.

We stopped by American Junkie on a $5 burger Monday, and overall it was a decent experience. Our server, Millie, was friendly and personable, though not the fastest service-wise. The atmosphere is definitely a highlight. The space is open and bright, with plenty of TVs lining the walls, perfect for catching a game. We happened to watch the Dodgers while we were there, which made it extra enjoyable. There's also a ping pong table for some casual fun, and on a nice day, you can spill out onto the front patio, which adds a pleasant, airy vibe. We all went with the All American Burger, and I have to say it was really good. The patties were juicy, the toppings fresh, and the bun held up nicely. On the side, we ordered the tater tots and the ballpark pretzel. Both portions were generous, the tater tots in particular were massive; I'm pretty sure Napoleon Dynamite would've been thrilled with that heap! American Junkie also has a solid beer and cocktail selection. I enjoyed the Mayberry IPA, which hit the spot perfectly, and my buddy went for the Mango Jalapeno Margarita, which he loved. Both were refreshing and paired nicely with our meal. While the food and drinks were enjoyable, the experience overall felt just okay. Service could have been a bit quicker, I'd give it a solid 3 stars out of 5, good burgers, fun atmosphere, and strong drinks, but not quite enough to make it a top-tier stop.

Hot honey pizza
Stephanie S.

My boyfriend and I came here after a cute beach date with our puppies. We got the hot honey pizza, American cheese burger, and two unsalted patties for the doggos. Parking can be a little tough to find but, it's worth the walk if you find something a bit far. There's lots of cute shops to poke through along the way. Overall service and location are great!

Been here a few times while at hermosa beach, cute little place with a lot of menu options on the beach. Highly recommend the tacos!!! Service and staff are so nice :)

2nd and final stop for Hubber's sister and BIL's SoCal day trip. And honestly, I felt like I had enough food and drinks at the first spot we went to (I'm DD, so gotta exert some self control) that I may just have a bite or two of snacks my party would order. Hubbers was recently here with Big Bro and Cuzzo and had a great time which is why he recommended we make a stop. And like them, we also had a great time! The rest of my party got cocktails and wings. I opted for water (again: ME = DD.) Wings came out piping hot - made to order is always yay! Not a fan of jalapeño so I have the salt/pepper kind. It sounds simple, but it's that simplicity that blew me away. There must be something else on here that made it exceptionally full of flavor, but no; it really is JUST mainly salt and pepper! Who was I kidding... I had at least 2-3 (prolly more) of those! And here I thought I was too full! FOOD: 5. I only had salt and pepper wings and they were PERFECT! SERVICE: 4. Our servers were amazing! They came through and checked on us often, cleaned up and did refills as needed, really friendly, and service with a smile, now that's always a plus. VALUE: 3. Fair most especially for this area. PARKING: Streets, lots and structures - all metered. Rates aren't bad for Hermosa Beach! (Around $2/hr.) OVERALL: 4. TIP: They have a Photo Booth at the back. No better souvenir than this! Sooo coming back - if only for the wings. And then some. Great first run!

Very bad experience, not letting people in , even we have valid ids , they didn't like our dress code, but let a lot of people in with same kind of dress code and in groups . Thanks

This review is specifically about Junkie on a Tuesday. $9 all-you-can-eat tacos felt ambitious, but I was perfectly happy with just two carne asada tacos, rice, beans, and a full trip to the salsa bar. Still a total deal for nine bucks. Obviously I had to pair it with a margarita (or two), and yes--I gave in to the chaos and ordered the Junkie Cup. It's vodka, lemonade, blue curaçao, and an entire Red Bull flipped in... totally unhinged and totally worth it. And the service? 5 out of 5! The vibe is casual, loud, a little divey, and weirdly comforting. Perfect for a low-key night that somehow turns into stories you'll laugh about all week.

Peperoni pizza

Surprisingly had one of the most delicious peperoni pizza here ! Can't beat people watching at the beach. It's a vibe here if you want to dance they had a dj going! Our server was on the move and was always easy to grab attention when we needed her!

Me contacting luvlanguage to get my bottle and section reserved.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Never have I ever been treated this way in my life!! I recently had a birthday celebration here since they turn into a night club at night. I am so disappointed with the customer service and the way my WHOLE group was treated. When I had first checked in to get my table for bottle service they asked me to wait a little at the front which was fine. But the girl that checked my group and I in came in with a dull energy. I should've seen this as my first red flag, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe she was just having a bad day. Then my group and I are walked to our section which is a little smaller than expected since I had told them I had a group of at least 10. As you can see from the picture of my group & I that I uploaded it only fit about 8 of us and we were all squished in our section. I also still had more people that were going to show up. Then the table you see in the picture with the juices used to be in the middle. But I moved it to the side so my group and I had more space. Next we're waiting for them to bring the bottle out because they asked what time I wanted them to bring it out. They bring out the bottle just on time like they said they were but the bottle girls and the man holding the sign all looked so unenthusiastic to be there. They need to hire better people that have more energy for this type of job because usually people want to have fun and celebrate. I didn't let this bother me though I was happy to be there with my friends and we start enjoying the bottle we had bought. My friends and I are dancing having an amazing time and a few of us left the facility to go get one of our friends in the parking lot that had just arrived. Once we come back, we continue having a good time time UNTIL one of my friends that was still sitting in our PAID table comes up to me and says that they were kicked out of the section by staff. Once I hear this I get so confused and also upset because neither the establishment nor the hosts luv language with which I bought the section from for that night told me that there was a time limit. Since I'm clearly upset I ask to speak with the manager and I keep repeating how no one ever told me there was a time limit and I would like a refund. I've gotten a table at other clubs and they've never kicked us out of our table before. The manager named CONNER is not helping me out at all and telling me that I need to speak to luvlanguage. He then proceeds to kick my entire group out of the club, which I was upset about as a PAYING customer but then i got over it as I realized I didn't want my friends or I to give them ANY more of our money. Mind you, Before they kicked us out of our section my whole group was having the time of their lives. We were all just dancing and having a great time. We didn't cause any problems or commotion until we started being treated badly. Also what I had noticed was that my group was the only section to be kicked out. It really felt like discrimination at that point since we are all POC and the rest of the sections at that club were majority white. It really sucks that my birthday celebration had to go down this way. I want CONNER & the whole staff working on Friday night 03/20/26 to be held accountable for their actions and their customer service. It was absolutely terrible for us to experience that when all we wanted was to have a fun night. I've provided screenshots from the hosts luvlanguage as well asking for a refund from them, they are not helping me out with this terrible experience. American junkie & luvlanguage have not given me a refund and I would appreciate it if they did for causing me distress on that night. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK A TABLE WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE POC. They will not treat you kindly.

American Junkie Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - American Junkie

Do they allow pets?

Yes they do. Never had an issue bringing my dog along

De they still offer taco Tuesday?

Yes, they do. You can purchase a wristband to their endless tacos, buffet style.

Will they kick out under 18 if you were in there before 9?

I've been there at 6pm on a Tuesday and they carded me at the door, even though I'm 37. They card everyone it seems. Probably past 5pm

Always 21+ or 18+ as well?

I always see parents with their kids. So I assume if it’s family friendly, it’s 18+ cool too.

We usually go to Fox and Hounds, but didn't have enough time to make the drive. I did a little research and realized there was a City supporters group meeting at The Slip Bar & Eatery, so we decided to check it out. Nothing beats the fresh ocean breeze, a brew, and football . We were the first ones there and were a bit concerned the doors weren't open yet, but the friendly hostess reassured us they'd be opening shortly. While we waited, City supporters started rolling in--and to my friend's delight, Arsenal fans showed up too, which made for an even better atmosphere. Once they opened, we were greeted warmly by the owner himself. We grabbed great seats right in front of the big screen, and from there everything just got better. The service was excellent, the owner and hostess kept checking in to make sure we were good the entire time. Drinks were on point too. We enjoyed a delicious Irish Coffee, a refreshing Moscow Mule, and some ice-cold beers. The ambiance was electric, everyone locked into the match, and every time City scored, the whole bar erupted. All in all, it was an awesome experience. Honestly, I'm even considering joining the City supporters group after this. I'll definitely be coming back to watch more Man City games here and to enjoy the ocean view from the open windows. Highly recommend this spot to any sports fan or anyone who just wants to kick back by the beach with a great vibe.

The interior is neat and clean. There are various types of seating (bar; table; booth; high-tops; communal), and plenty of screens to watch sports. On this occasion, I ordered the Tavern Fish & Chips ($22). It is described as "Alaskan cod coated in a tempura beer batter and served with French fries, tartar sauce and yuzu herb coleslaw". The positives of this dish are that it was prepared well. Both the fish and chips tasted good. The presentation was also nice; which leads to the coleslaw: The coleslaw tasted good, too; but I was surprised the serving was so spare. It's almost as if it was served just to optically balance the presentation in the basket. (See photo shared,) And while the price was not unreasonable, feel it's creeping towards expensive (relative to serving size). I'll attribute this to rising input costs. Staffing might be an issue during the lunchtime service. Service was okay, but they seemed to be understaffed. It's possible that most of their business is done after 5pm.
