Than I moved up to Lone Peak, not only do I hate this school, I hate the people. My first week there everyone was racist, and only about themselves. They treat everyone else like dirt. It's like a big "mean girls club" if you don't wear tight fitted clothing, or do your makeup/hair everyday and look a million bucks than you're frowned upon. Don't even get me started if you're not religious. all in all this school sucks and has already put a bad reputation on everyone I know.

The counselors are amazing, and both the principal and vice principal are truly wonderful. Over the past two years, my kids have faced mental health, learning, and physical challenges, and the administration has been incredibly supportive throughout. Their willingness to collaborate and find solutions has made a huge difference for our family. The student body is very diverse--which is especially meaningful in Utah--and I think that's fantastic. Like any middle school, there's a mix of personalities: many of the kids are kind and respectful, while a few can be challenging. Overall, it's a great group of students. The school offers a wide range of activities and outstanding extracurricular programs. We especially love the music and drama departments--they're exceptional. In every way, this school deserves five stars.

I feel our review can still hold true, even with that limited scope. This school was wonderful. It's a treasure. My child was safe there. His KINDERGARTEN teacher had a MASTER'S degree. I find that incredible! Each teacher also has a classroom helper/teacher every day, so when a substitute is needed, it's someone already familiar with students and the material. I love that parents are in the classroom and teachers feel free to ask for help. I think teachers should be supported like that. Overall, I felt the parents were kept informed, the school had high standards, and such kind children.

So forget prom and forget this school. Teachers are nice though :)

My little girl LOVED this preschool! She started this school in the old location right before they…read moremoved to the new location. They started building the new location (PEAC) across the street so she was able to experience this preschool in the old and new location - it was such a privilege to experience both venues, but the quality of teaching and caring for the children never got affected. We loved the staff and the love they had for all the kids who went here! At first, at age 3, she was hesitant and scared to be left by mommy in a new place with unfamiliar faces. However after just the first week, she showed enthusiasm, expressed a strong desire to go back, and just so happy to be coming there! Miss Valerie, the director, was super friendly and personable and put me at ease in leaving my child in the hands of her and her caring staff. Miss Wanda was a pleasure to deal with every day, and she is just the most sweetest woman you will ever meet! We sure do miss this place as my little one graduated, and from time to time, she still says, "I miss my old school, mom!"

My child attended preschool here couple of years ago and always came home with a strange aura about…read moreher. She said she got in trouble a lot, mind you she was almost 4 years old at the time. They did weird punishments I thought you'd only do to middle school or high school students, like make them sit out in the hall for being bad! We moved out of town and recently visited family near by and drove past the building...my daughter noticed the building and began to tell me her memories there. One was that her and a friend hid under a table together because she said they were afraid of one of the teachers. I've been meaning to do a review but never got the chance until after I heard her scared, first school memories today. There were a few things that were off about this place to me. For example, my wife went in to talk to the teachers to see how our daughter was doing. I don't know if it wasn't a normal thing for them to talk to parents about progress but the whole staff came in a small room as if they were all cornering my wife thinking that she was going to chew them out or criticize their process, when she just wanted to find out how her child is doing. My wife came home and told me how weird and awkward it was. It seemed as if they normally had parents come in and get mad so they had to all stack up to over power the parent. Needless to say we pulled our daughter out and put her in a more local preschool group and it was like night and day! She loved her new preschool teachers, came home excited and happy, and constantly told us she did not want to go back to stepping stone. Basically, they seemed to view my daughter as a problem and a burden, yet we heard nothing about this nor were given any guidance on correcting anything, until my wife approached them to find out why she was always sad and discouraged when we picked her up. They seemed to lack skills on addressing personal/individual skills and only seemed to go "by the book" for how to handle the cookie cutter child! I hope it's better now but sad that my daughter had these experiences.
