Free coffee and snacks, as well. The instructor for the course was friendly and knowledgeable, and it was a very small class so we got extremely personalized attention. Besides a few minor hiccups, which is to be expected anywhere, this is solid training company and highly recommended.

Steve was great and he made sure that the class was interactive and meaningful for each one of us. Every session, we had fun group assignments which helped us work as a team and build our skill set on that. He made sure that the groups were divided fairly based on our backgrounds. He made sure that all our questions and concerns were answered. All his answers were practical and it gave us a good insight on how things are run product wise in a technical organization. It helped me a lot during my interview process. During the later half of the course, I was offered a job in Product management and I am glad to say that the classes which I took with Steve really helped me during the interview process. Thanks to him and Product School. I also liked the course material and how it was structured. It's quite relevant to the industry. One recommendation I have for Product School is to include more Agile specific material and get rid of Waterfall material as it's getting obscure nowadays. I would highly recommend this course to individuals looking to pivot to Product Management. It was worth the buck.

Steve was always passionate about the business and truly helpful with related career advice.

Outstanding review of a large volume of content over the course of the 4 days. Michael was instrumental in building my foundation and set my study expectations appropriately for the PMP exam. I passed the exam the 1st week of April! Many thanks to Michael for his preparation leading the class with real world examples and thank you to Project Management Academy for the flexible scheduling and tool offerings to lead me toward success. Well done!

The content was extensive and covered a lot of ground. It was definitely a whole lot to take in. The access to content that you get after the course is incredible helpful to keep studying, with quizzes, videos, and additional learning materials. My instructor was John Sanderson. Johns knowledge was extensive, he demonstrated deep expertise and shared rich examples. He also made the content digestible, he was funny, engaging, and able to make it real for us. I would highly recommend PMA and John if you're looking to get ready for the PMP exam, it is worth it!

I wholeheartedly agree with Ken's review. Veritas was great and really made the difference for me…read moreand the GMAT. The instructors were phenomenal - especially David, who went above and beyond to provide solid lectures, good examples, and additional supplementary materials. In addition to great teachers, Veritas' online classes were really helpful - either for reviewing material you're fuzzy on or making up for a missed class. Plus, they give you access to so many practice GMAT tests (some of their own, plus others they license), so you'll really feel prepared by the time test day comes. The class format of Veritas really sets it apart from other programs. For me, having the hands-on classroom time plus TONS of homework/practice problems was the necessary nudge I needed to make sure I was devoting adequate time to studying. The books are well thought out and give you a lot of detail. I'd recommend supplementing it with the Official GMAT guide (in your final weeks of studying) to really help give you a sense of the official GMAT Qs.

Before you go out and preach my review as gospel, let me make sure that everyone knows that about halfway through the Vertias Prep program I decided I didn't need a $100k MBA. I just want to learn how to start a business and maintain it and have a fairly good idea of what I'm doing. Therefore, my score actually went DOWN by 60 points after taking the class. I don't blame Veritas Prep, I was just disappointed that it wasn't good for someone who works full time. Also, if you suck at math...I advise getting a private tutor BEFORE starting this class. Lots and lots of Algebra.

Parking has always been an issue within the city so public transportation is highly recommended. The star of this course is the instructor. This man oozes professionalism, charisma, and teaches with applied practical examples. He is flexible in his and your schedule and will answer your questions. The short of it is, he's there for you. If you ever needed a shining example of what a real estate agent is, this man has it all. The process for taking the test has changed ( at the time of this review ) compared to when I took the class. If you're planning on just taking a class, graduating, then immediately taking the test and hoping to pass, I won't stop you. I recommend taking mock exams before and after class so you have access to the resource that is this fantastic instructor for any questions you might have. I highly recommend Instructor Bah.

Status: Incoming Spring Cohort Student 2015…read more I applied for Launch Academy in September of 2014; interviewed with Omid and decided to pursue further commitment. Omid was excellent in communicating with me pre and post-interview. During the interview, I came prepared with many questions regarding the environment of the bootcamp and I was thoroughly impressed with his responses. Post interview, whenever I had questions based on payments or how I should better prepare myself, Omid was right there to answer promptly and sufficiently. I had no problems throughout the payment process even after asking to switch payment plans (upfront or monthly). In regards to pre-work material and challenges, everything was given in due time. Launch really seems to be getting a great system down that provides more than enough resources to succeed in preparation for our 10 week bootcamp. It definitely helps to learn some programming language (specifically Ruby) before just to gain familiarity and to keep sharpening your skills every day (EVERY DAY!! or almost.. =P). That being said, I'm excited for this opportunity, it's an amazing blessing to be able to attend a bootcamp like Launch Academy, who now boasts a 5:1 student-mentor ratio.

Graduated from Launch; obtained job…read more I applied to Launch Academy since I was looking for a way to kick start my career after I lost my previous job and after weighing a few options ended up deciding on Launch and I think I can say it was honestly among the best decisions I've made in my life. The staff were extremely welcoming and supportive the whole way through and the students I worked with were also great. Even after graduating from Launch I felt I was connected to a great network that I can always reach out to for anything which I think some other bootcamps really don't give you access to. Now I won't shy away from it but this experience is NOT for everyone, you have to put a lot of money upfront for the course (like most bootcamps) and the curriculum is intense but I think the end result is truly worth it as you'll come out with understanding of technology that you did not have before and be ready at least put your foot in the door of the industry. If you're looking for a bootcamp that feels more welcoming but also will get you the tools you need for future programming jobs then I would recommend Launch.
