Great place. Really love the atmosphere, so relaxed and cool, Once we were there, there was live music, and I was hoping for more live music on a regular basis, but that might have slowed down. The staff is very friendly and nice, but I'll admit our waitress disappeared for a bit too long. The really nice owner noticed it and apologized. The food was so good and the ambiance with wood everywhere, made the wait worth our time there. So glad they came to town! I'm a local and it's a great addition to our community! read more

Cool vibe, huge place with the kids making and cooking the pizza in plain view. Adding logs to the fire and tossing in the pizzas is how these kids roll here and we like it! The pizzas are good, we found ourselves adding salt to most of the ones we've ordered , BUT the most recent visit we had the special which was a pork pizza with jalapeños and we got a side of hot sauce (recommend from someone we had a conversation with at the dog park) and that brought their pizza to a whole new level! This hot sauce was so flavorful and the perfect amount of spice! I was definitely feeling it but wanted to keep eating it, I couldn't stop!! I will never have another pizza from here without the hot sauce. We've had the Moroccan salad and it's good too. Lots of goodies and big juicy meatballs. Lots of tumeric and flavor. Everything is really fresh here! The servers' pace are pretty chilled here so make sure to order asap if you arrive hungry or you might be waiting a bit. read more

Was craving pizza and decided to try this place since it was near our hotel. Had to get over the organic, healthy propaganda which sometimes scares me into thinking the pizza will suck. We ordered the pepperoni and mushroom pizza and it was delicious! The mushrooms were very flavorful. The crust was tasty - crispy and just the right amount of greasy goodness. This did not taste like healthy pizza -- and that is a good thing! There are children's drawings hanging throughout the restaurant, which is a great thing to do. We had the gluten free crust pizza. It was like eating cardboard. The salad was good. The waitress was sweet. I tried to eat the pizza because everyone was so pleasant but couldn't swallow it. It wasn't just the crust, the toppings tasted like they were out of a can and it was an archeological dig to find the cheese. read more

I love the Tuesday fundraisers. That's a great community event. But the pizza is mostly bread, not much in the way of ingredients. That's really telling when it's Flat bread. The servers try but the kitchen service is terrible. Thank you for employing many of the local teenagers. As much as I love that can you also employ an adult as a manager? That would be helpful. You need to vary your menu and focus on the quality of the food. It's only so so. We see restaurants like yours come and go so frequently. Ask the folks at Sea Bright. You have a good start but it's hard to recommend you. read more

Well we had a chance to visit here again during the "offseason" , and I have to say the food is still amazing, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming....the servers, bar tenders, and host we had this time left much room for huge improvements. Yes this eatery is acclaimed for its fresh organic offerings, but I have to wonder if they forgot to tell employees to smile and "serve" with a "we are so happy you are here" attitude. Server checked with us within a minute of our food arriving, not one bite taken yet, and never returned. She passed our table a few times and never stopped by or acknowledged we were her table. No second offering for drink refills, or anything else. We had to "hunt" her down to get our bill and a "go" box. The bar tender who seated us was "taken back" because we ask for a different table than the one originally offered. After all, we pay to eat there, right? So we should be made to feel like they are glad we are there! Oh well, the food as always was amazing, just wish my friends first visit and my third would have been more impressive. read more

The food here is awesome! Prices? Yeah not so much. Three people, two pizzas, soda and two desserts (not very big desserts either) was $95. $95??!?!?!? Are you SERIOUS?!?!? You've got to be kidding, right?? You can go to a steakhouse for that. The service is so so as well. About every time you ask for extra something it doesn't happen and then you have to ask again. The management does seem to care if there is an issue, but who wants to always have to invoke the "get the manager" routine when you're dining out. I really really love their pizza. But what working class person around here can afford an $18 large pizza with only cheese and pepperoni that barely feeds two? Plus the amount of topping that is on it is pretty skimpy. For $18 you should get a bit more. You want to be broke after eating good pizza, or you just have deep pockets, then this is the place for you. read more

Great experience. Amazing pizza, interesting decor, friendly & accommodating waitstaff. We had 2 kids with us that loved being able to see the pizza being made & put into the oven (kept them entertained). The restaurant was also hosting a party while we were there, so there were more than a dozen pizza orders ahead of us, but our waitress & the manager/owner made sure to let us know they hadn't forgotten about us. 1 of our 2 pizzas was missing an extra ingredient we had asked for, so the manager/owner gave us a coupon for a free pizza next time we come in. We didn't mind anyway, considering how busy they were. We will for sure be back! read more

Stopped in at this restaurant simply due to convenience after a hike and was so thrilled we did! Great service, good beer, good pizza. The salads looked great too. I had a super delicious vegan special (pureed yellow bell pepper sauce, mushrooms, truffle oil, a few other goodies - and of course I took the option to add kale) and my bf got a more traditional meat and cheese pizza. Both were delicious and large enough to have leftovers for another meal (even though we ordered the small sizes). The space is great and staff were friendly and helpful. read more

Great take out, even after our 30 minute drive home. We had the pepperoni mushroom, reheated quickly and tasted great - not greasy and not dry. Saw some kids taking a flatbread out to eat on the breakwater in Rockland - a good idea and if it's too windy, there are shaded picnic tables at the start of the park. read more

From the moment we walked in the door we felt welcomed. The manager and staff were fun to chat with and very personal. The aroma from the oven was heavenly, and the pizza was perfect. There were so many choices for pizzas, but after 2 weeks of traveling, these two from Williamsburg VA just wanted a simple cheese pizza. Just dont offer take out. It's a simple as that. The pizza is pretty good, but since this place opened they have yet to figure out that telling a customer their pizza will be ready in 45 min (which is already laughable), only to tell the customer when they arrive that it will take another 8-10 min is insulting your customer's intelligence. You're obviously cooking it when they arrive, so what's with the 45 min put on? Why not just say, "come over in 10-15 and we'll throw your pie in while you wait (so its nice and hot)"? I'm willing to overlook that things you have had on your menu since you opened, like steak on a pizza, have yet to be available or in stock. But the take out shenanigans are inexcusable, and it happens everytime (4-5 occurances). You guys might consistently do alright with tourists, but as I look through the reviews most of the complaints are from the locals. So good luck with that. read more

The pizza was excellent. Really top notch and the ingredients are great. However the service was by far the worst service I have ever experienced in any eatery. If you go I would bring your own plates and water. You could be the only table there but the kitchen seems to be a one man band and perfection takes time. You could prob get a drink refill if you take it up to the little bar but I didn't think to try that. In our experience if you ask for a box you may get one that has already been used. Learn to share your food so that when the second person's food comes out you can all enjoy it like you did the first person's that came out 25 mins before. Lot of smiling staff although it I don't know that any are waiters or waitresses most just seem to hang out around the oven or the host stand. Make a night of it and plan an extra hour with all the wait times. Don't plan on your plates getting cleared. And god help you if you plan to ask them to split a check. Treat yourself right and see if they do take out. I would avoid this place like the plague read more
