For me, dining is about the whole picture. The food. The service. The prices. The ambiance. The parking. And anything "extra." And that's why Flatbread immediately won me over. I was passing by their place at lunchtime when their cute signage caught my eye. That, and the name "Flatbread." ('Cause who doesn't love a good pizza when their hungry?) Parking was easy and close to the first-floor entrance. I walked in and immediately smiled. The rustic style, warm temperature (on a cold rainy New England day), and spacious rectangular bar (with bar stools I'd like to add to my own) invited me in. The wall near the bar displayed cute chalk boards with large lettering, making it easy to read to day's meat pizza and veggie pizza specials. I'm a bar girl. (I like to sit at the bar for everything; my husband and I rarely dine in a restaurant living room.) I sat down and the bartender, Tara, quickly greeted me and handed me a menu. I was pleased to discover the the rustic wooden bar stools were just as comfortable as they were cute. I also loved that the bar itself was wide and spacious, too. It allowed for plenty of room for placement of flatbreads. I forgot to check for a purse hooks under the bar (which I consider essential), because it wasn't crowded, so I had plopped my purse on the bar stool right next to me. I immediately ordered a GF pizza with their house made pepperoni, and ordered a regular crust pizza to take home to my groom that had house made sweet Italian sausage on it. Yes. You read that right. Homemade pepperoni & sausage. How many pizza joints can boast of that? Flatbread's philosophy obviously is in line with all things healthy. Their menu boasts of the goodness of all their ingredients (with descriptions such as GF, organic, homemade, nitrate-free, preservative free, non-GMO, etc.). And guess what? They're tasty, too! Healthy tasty food in minutes, in a very cool environment. How 'bout that? Tara's service was friendly and impeccable. When I asked for a glass of chardonnay, she quickly asked, "oaked or unoaked?" That may not seem like a big deal to most, but I thought it was a nice touch for a pizza place, even if it *is* a *gourmet* pizza place. In addition to those traditional factor that influence my preference on a restaurant, Flatbread showed off plenty of extras. First, Tara showed me their private party room, which was plenty spacious. It's free to rent, and it's close enough to the bar that people can make their way from the party room to the bar within a few steps. Key. Next, the menu boasted of the restaurants social consciousness in supporting local kids. They have Benefit Night once a week. A portion of the proceeds of the restaurant's sales on Tuesday nights is donated back to certain local causes (mostly associated with youth sports teams). Finally, I love the "free WiFi" as an extra benefit to dining there. That means I can stop by again and do some work at the bar! Wonderful! Too many restaurants miss out on lunch patrons by not offering a spacious bar with free WiF. Luckily, this restaurant had the foresight to accommodate so many of us who are on the road for work, and want an alternative to Panera for a working lunch. This restaurant is over an hour away from me, but I can assure you . . . it's well worth the trip. I'll be back for sure! read more

Love the pizza here but I've given this place multiple chances...without fail there's always issues with the food or service. We ordered 4 small pizzas and a salad. 1 pizza came out 20 minutes before the others, we got the salad last because we hounded the waitress multiple times. One pizza had to be sent back 3 times to be cooked the correct way. Once our entire party finished our pizza we finally got the salad. Waitress gave us attitude as if it was our fault for the disservice and basically threw our check at us knowing we weren't pleased. After asking for the manager she said "what do you want off the salad or the pizza" then continued to act like we were difficult. This place isn't worth it, drive 10 minutes north and go to Amesbury. The pizza is 10 times better and the service is right there with it in Amesbury. Again, skip this place and go to Amesbury. Trust me. read more

I LOVE flatbreads! I usually go to the Bedford location but decided to try to the Georgetown location as I was closer. I ordered 2 veggie specials - what I got was dough with cheese on it and a pile of mushrooms right in the center... that's it. I was really surprised because as I said I love flatbreads and go all the time and usually get the most amazing pizzas. Very disappointed Georgetown. read more

Good atmosphere and the ingredients are high quality as well. Price point was average and service friendly, execution of actually cooking the pizza was a bit of a miss however. Had pizza from this location and the one in amesburry in the same week and have to say the Georgetown location was notably inferior. Maybe some refresher training with the kitchen staff is in order. read more

Great place to eat! I love the Mopsy's pizza, we come here quite a bit, food is fresh, atmosphere is great! They also sponsored my sons baseball team and they were very accommodating throughout the season. I wasn't sure about another pizza place in town, but hands down its the best!! read more

My family has waited a long time for a local flatbreads and this one does not disappoint! Pizza is fantastic, fresh salads and excellent beer/wine selection. No wait when we pulled in at 5:30pm on a Saturday during the summer was an added bonus. The staff were professional yet super friendly. This will be a regular spot for our family! read more

Was able to sit outside during the summer. The food was good and dessert was tasty. Service was very friendly and attentive.

We will keep coming here because it's close to home and we really like the food ... but wow the service is usually super slow (although consistently cheerful and usually trying hard). There's also usually at least one mistake with the order - wrong size or wrong toppings. If that sort of thing ruins your meal, it's probably best to go somewhere else. read more

i bought a pepperoni pizza from the Georgetown location for the second time and ordered as take out. The first time ordered the pizza was as I ordered it. The pizza I got on 9/11/19 was very undercooked and did not have the quality of a flatbread wood fired pizza. The pizza that I was charged $20.00 plus for was a undercooked and was like a very common pizza with a thick crust and was undercooked. I could have gotten this type of pizza for half the price at a pizza chain. I called Flatbread in Georgetown to report this and was informed that the manager from the Georgetown restaurant would call me back. This did not happen and an attempt to call them at 10:10 p.m. put me into a voicemail system. I have gotten very good and authentic wood fired pizzas from the Amesbury site and know the quality of the pizza that exists. I have been unable to find customer service contact information to discuss this problem. I am very disheartened by the treatment of customers who have problems with the product. I will be looking for another wood fired pizza restaurant that is more customer friendly. The Amesbury site provides the quality product that is advertised, but the Georgetown site does not. An attempt to resolve any problems does not seem to exist. Please be advised. read more

I love Flatbread but this location has definite problems. If you go on a Friday or Saturday night, good luck, dont bother, 1 1/2 hour wait times, and don't even think about take out, they dont answer the phone. This can not be owned by the same people who run the other Flatbread's Pizza's in the area. In addition, the salad dressing isnt made the same way and the couple of times I got a Jay's Heart at this location it didnt test anything like what I was use to. I live in the next town over from Georgetown and I was so excited for Flatbread to open because of the long drive to Amesbury but I think its worth the extra 15 mins each way, that's how much different this location is. I'm hoping they turn it around, those lines wont last forever if the service and quality continue like it is. Praying for a turn around. read more

Pizza is great. Went on day 2, but service was very lacking. Told there was a 10 minute wait for a table. Requested to sit at one of seven visibly empty tables at bar. No, 10 minute wait. Sat at bar, ate pizza. None of the tables ever filled. Many staff but none seemed to have direction or managerial coordination. Will get take out until they fix this. All I will say is: if you want the real flatbread experience, go to Amesbury or Hampton. The management at Georgetown is a joke and sadly it's located in a country club so it's all about the golfers, not the customers. The restaurant itself is meant to have options for customers (gluten, peanut allergies and vegan options) yet during the day all week, they're selling snickers, reece's, etc because they need to appeal to the golfers. Do yourself a favor, drive the extra 15 minutes to a REAL flatbread and you'll be 100% satisfied. read more

Arrived to a fairly empty waiting room only to be told that it would be a twenty minute wait. That's not unreasonable and there were only two parties ahead of us. The "hostess" indicated they were short staffed but we would be seated shortly. Fair enough. She ran around the restaurant but it was not clear what she was doing. Two parties waiting gave up and left. A new party came in and were seated and waited on immediately. We continued to wait as every table in the dining room emptied and the high tops in the bar cleared out as well. We waited over an hour. She sauntered by to say we would be seated soon. Still no other patrons coming in. If you are not able to manage the restaurant you should put the closed sigh on the door. Just because you are short staffed does not mean you stop accommodating customers altogether. The hostess made it clear she was 'put upon' rather than digging in and making an effort to do her job. Clearly our business was not appreciated and I can assure you there are enough options out there that will more than welcome our hard earned money. Not going back and I will tell you the last mismanaged restaurant I reviewed like this was gone only a month later. We went elsewhere. Served and done dinner in less time than we waited at this grossly mismanaged establishment. read more

I agree with the other postings. Flatbread is not the best pizza and they are a bit high in price. But they have a nice comfy outside seating area. And, the do have salads, which I have not yet tried, but look good. Basically it is not my fav pizza but I go for the great outdoors country club venue. The beer is good too. read more

I've been to 6 flatbread locations, and the Georgetown location is by far the worst. The pizza is always undercooked and has nothing special about it. I go to flatbread for a unique pizza that tastes unlike any other, however every time I have been to this location, the pizza has been soggy and undercooked. In addition, the pizza here also lacks the nice wood fired taste that flatbread is all about. Overall, I would not recommend eating at this establishment until they can get their act together and live up to flatbread expectations. read more

I LOVE Flatbread in North Conway, Portland, Amesbury etc. This location has the same great pizza...however the location needs some help. 1.) Turn the lights down ! You are not a cafeteria and as is today there is NO atmosphere. If you have been to other locations you will see and feel a comfortable vibe which is helped by warm lighting NOT spotlights. 2). where is the funky decor that makes Flatbread so cool ? the walls are pretty stark. I know this is a new location but decor goes a long way...again go to the other locations and then compare. We actually wondered if anyone from Flatbread had ever been to this location..? 3.) Cool that you use only MA beers on tap. BUT perhaps add a pilsner or more variety. The night we went IPA, IPA, Pale Ale, Bud light. 4.) The drafts were served in thin narrow beer glasses. I love a good draft served in a regular pint glass...whenever I get one in a glass that is smaller or appears to be, I immediately feel like the bar is trying to trick me out of a few ounces... kind of like when you get a pound of coffee and then notice it is 11oz. just strikes me the wrong way. Again the pizza is worth the visit but it bums me out that they could make this so much better with some help with the location. read more

Went on a Sunday afternoon for a Patriots game. This is a huge improvement for the country club. Hopefully they have a larger menu soon like the other flatbread restaurants such as special salads of the day. As usual this is quality though! Awesome location for a Flatbreads! read more

I have enjoyed the Flatbread company for years at a bunch of their locations and have never been disappointed. Even at my visit today everything was great. Can't get enough of this place! We live about an hour away but have already been here 3 times to dine. Not only is the pizza amazing, but the service is friendly and efficient and the atmosphere is very cozy. Our "go to" pizza is the jimmy's free range chicken (yum) but we also look forward to the weekly carne/veggie specials. Do yourselves a favor and try the Smutty Nose Emotional Rescue which is brewed exclusively for the Flatbread Company- perfect beer to wash pizza down with! The kids always enjoy the homemade brownie sundae for dessert which is conveniently offered in half portions. I can't say enough great things about the food, the staff and the location. Plenty of parking, wide opened space with beautiful views of the golf course. We are looking forward to going back sooner rather than later! Thank you FBC read more

Flatbread is my go to spot for excellent pizza. The service is awesome and it is a very laid back environment. The restaurant gives off a lodge type vibe and it's an added bonus to be able to feel the warmth of the wood fired oven. My husband and I arrived around 5:00 on a Friday to try this new Flatbread. We had previously eaten at and enjoyed the Amesbury and Portsmouth locations so were expecting the same experience. Boy were we mistaken. Told by young man/hostess that bar area smelled liked cigars but we could sit there if interested which seemed strange that they would allow cigar smoking in a restaurant. Took awhile for a waitress to arrive to get our drink orders then took awhile to get our drinks. My husband ordered draft Sam Adams which upon arrival looked flat(no head) and tasted terrible. Waited for waitress to get a different beer and finally had to flag down another waitress to have our waitress sent over. We ordered our pizza which was a simple large Jay's Heart...that was our entire dinner order! No salad..very simple order. We sat and waited and waited and waited. Waitress never came over and we saw other tables around us getting their order. Finally very frustrated we left without ever getting our pizza. Beyond this the staff expressed no concern that we were leaving indicating that this must be a frequent occurrence.This restaurant needs to work with its staff on proper customer service and the kitchen needs to improve the speed of output. Very disappointing experience. This Flatbread location is a detriment to their brand. I will never go here again and/or recommend to anyone. read more
