I had another HVAC company inspect the system, and they informed me that the existing ductwork is undersized for the unit that was installed. According to them, the ductwork will need to be replaced at an additional cost of $6k. To make matters worse, Hooten, the original contractor, will not return any of my phone calls or messages. I expected a professional installation, proper communication, and support after the sale. Instead I am left with a system that is not performing as it should, additional expenses, and no response from Hooten heating and air!

When their tech came out, he was personable and very helpful and went a little above and beyond to help me which was impressive. The second time they came out, felt the same way. The situation still wasn't resolved as I was informed by my warranty company I needed a second opinion from a DIFFERENT company. Brad told me he would stick by me and help me out. The day of our third appointment came and Brad was going to come back with a friend of another company. He called 5 min before my appointment and canceled. I asked him to get back to me ASAP to reschedule as I work full time. A week goes by and I don't hear back from anyone even after texting. I finally heard back and was told that I need to go with a different company. There were other odd reasonings as to why they couldn't come out or accommodate me. I was also quoted SUPER high.
