BEWARE -- I DO NOT RECOMMEND SATTERLEE…read more My experience with Satterlee was extremely disappointing. I hired them to install a simple faucet directly behind my kitchen sink. The actual installation took approximately 30 minutes, and the workmanship was only average at best. Despite this, I was charged for two full hours of labor. What makes this even more frustrating is that additional time was spent making trips to obtain parts that, in my opinion, should have been identified and brought to the job in the first place. I don't believe a customer should have to pay full labor rates for unnecessary trips and poor preparation. Based on my experience, this appears to be a standard practice with Satterlee, and I feel other customers should be aware of it before hiring them. If you're looking for a contractor, I strongly recommend getting a detailed estimate upfront and asking exactly how travel time, parts runs, and minimum labor charges are billed. In my case, a job that took roughly 30 minutes resulted in a charge for two hours. I would not use Satterlee again, and I cannot recommend them to others.

So be prepared to pay at least $120 or in my parents case, $180 for drive time. This is on top of the the installation time and parts. And the faucet and parts went up $60 in 2 months.
