According to them, the ductwork will need to be replaced at an additional cost of $6k. To make matters worse, Hooten, the original contractor, will not return any of my phone calls or messages. I expected a professional installation, proper communication, and support after the sale. Instead I am left with a system that is not performing as it should, additional expenses, and no response from Hooten heating and air!

I asked him to get back to me ASAP to reschedule as I work full time. A week goes by and I don't hear back from anyone even after texting. Over the past 3 months, I've had them out at least 10 times, and the issues were never fixed. The unit continued to leak, damaging my subfloor, and when I asked about repairs, the owner (Ed) first promised to take care of it, then later tried to only pay half of the flooring bill. To make matters worse, they even blocked my phone number when I followed up, and I had to go in person to get a partial payment. The replacement coil they installed looked refurbished, and the very next day the system wouldn't even turn on -- proof they hadn't tested it before leaving. When I explained that I never expected a brand-new unit to cause this damage, Ed told me to "do what I needed" because he wasn't paying the full repair. This company has been unprofessional, unaccountable, and has cost me thousands in damage. I would not recommend S&S to anyone.
