This used to be a great locally owned company. The service was fabulous. This is not the case anymore. I heard they sold out to a big corporation. You now get a call center when you call. They know nothing. I made an appointment two weeks in advance. They no showed. They said they didn't have the equipment. No phone call to say they weren't coming. I had to call for a service repair on a Sunday. For it being a Sunday, they were one of the few that answered the phone but they were the only company that said they could / would send a technician out! Technician call to confirm and inform me of the extra charge for Sunday, which being a hot July Sunday only made sense. And I told him " I understand and agree to the charge" he showed up in a timely manner and was very professional. I pointed out that the system has had numerous freon recharges over the past few years and pointed out what it was doing today. That got the technician going in a direction and a little over an hour later he had most of the issue resolved when he identified another issue and was able to replace the faulty parts with ones he kept on the truck. When I asked about making a payment, he said that the office would get with me tomorrow to eliminate any possible billing issues. The office did get with me the next day, the pricing was appropriate for the work that was done and for the day of the week. I would definitely recommend this company and I will use them again in the future. read more

B&B Heating and Air, is usually a top-notch outfit. However, very recently, they sent....who I presume is an employee.... to my home, to handle a straight forward problem, and he came in, and acted like a tyrannical bozo. Slamming things around, like he owned the place, and like I was about ten years old. And this was no kid, he was 50-plus years old, and not dressed for any kind of work environment. B & B installed a new air conditioning unit for $6800.00 then a year later we have sold the house and the inspection revealed the unit was not installed to code - wires not enclosed and electrical box and a line was installed that wouldn't allow you to change filter - cost is $1,000 to correct everything and bring up to code - I called and asked to talk to manager or owner and no one returns my call - don't use B and B call climatech read more

Check your bill! They quoted $1,800 for a new motor and labor to install. They came out and installed the motor, handed us the bill, and after review, we noticed they installed an $1,100 motor, and added a $450 control board as well, AND took our old control board (replaced less than a year ago) with them! When we called to talk to them about it, they accused us of "having an attitude" and completely disregarded the complaint. They informed us it was American Standard's policy that a new board has to be installed with a new motor (confirmed that this was not true). We asked for the old board back since we paid for it, and they told us it was probably in the trash. We paid the bill, but we will never use this company again. We trusted them as professionals (our mistake) and they completely screwed us over. read more

I had B&B install my brand new outside unit it was a A/C Heat pump it worked for the summer. The Heat pump never worked. I called them back out to check it the next season they said that the compressor was burned up. I said it was a brand new unit. I called someone else he looked at it for one minute and he said that B&B installed a one way dryer that burned up my compressor. I wouldn't use them for anything they cost me more than a thousand dollars. read more

Called B and B for a service call and quote for a new air conditioner. Set appointment for the next day. No one called me to let me know when the tech would arrive. Waited all day for someone to show up. I called in the morning to get some idea when tech might come. I was told it would be in the afternoon sometime. Waited until 4:50pm and called again. No one answered the phone! Never got a call from B and B explaining why no one would show up. I've decided I don't need B and B if they can't get anyone to answer their phone. read more

Took them 8 trips to figure my cousins house, charged him every time. My neighbor needs a new flex installed under his modular home,his house has water under it now, but told the guy when water recedes, he would plywood under home, so he could do the job. I had the need to call B&B because my furnace quit during our cold spell this week here in Grove. When I was in contact with the office each of the ladies I spoke with were professional. The technicians were professional and kind and explained to me what the issue was. Brad came out to check on me, which he's done before when I've had a problem.
