They just finished yesterday and my family is loving our new backyard look and privacy. One example of thier excellence: after day 1 of the install I noticed one cedar plank that was probably the bottom of the pallet, a little marked up had been installed in a particularly viewable area. I went outside early on day 2 to mention it and it was already replaced. Pretty awesome.

The timelines they gave for all aspects of the fence materials, construction, and follow up service were accurate and met. I was very happy with the appearance of the fence afterwards. It was beautiful. I did not shop other competitors for pricing, but I believe for the quality of the job and materials and the labor involved it seem to be a more than reasonable price. Update in 2022: There was a strong wind that blew furniture off of my neighbor's patio and also separated part of a panel of my fence. I had requested that some adjustments be made and they answered my call and said they would be out within a week! 7 years after the initial installation!! They could not be a better company to do business with, both during and after the sale.

They were great to work with, super responsive, and answered a ton of questions. Our yard is oddly shaped, and they worked through a bunch of scenarios before we landed on the best option for us. Michael and Mary were both so nice and patient, and the sub they used for the install was wonderful too. The other company we tried to get a quote from came out, sent back a quote with virtually no details, and then ghosted us when we had questions. If you're looking for a fence, I highly recommend Madison Fence Company.

The large gaps left at the bottom was allowing my neighbors dog to get out, until we fixed it. The exposed old posts and nails are unsafe for my child and dogs. I called the company about these issues and claimed a 5" gap was "standard practice". They said they would fix the exposed old posts and nails, but here we sit 3 weeks later and nothing has been done. I would recommend looking elsewhere. Not only does this seem like a fast and lazy job, but with the posts at 10' plus apart, the fence really moves and feels cheap.

I spoke to several companies for quotes. Some never got back to me after our initial talk. I had quite a few companies come out to give me quotes. I choose Deck Dogs because I felt Angie really understood my needs and gave me suggestions based on that and our family's lifestyle (2 active little kids that live to be outside, puppy who can't get enough of outdoors, and a place for us to relax). We also looked at options for materials and colors and what would stand up best to my family. I appreciated that she left me with everything I needed (bag of many decking samples, information for railing and lighting packages). The quote was also the easiest and most straight forward. They're pretty busy with everyone wanting home improvements due to COVID and more time at home. My deck project was completed a good 2 months before I was expecting it. And the quickness and thoroughness when the job started was amazing. They were very efficient, very professional and went above and beyond my expectations. They removed my old deck from my home builder that was of questionable quality and installing a new, larger one. Everything looks seamless. We love it. They went above and beyond what I expected (moving my kiddos sandbox and then moving to back and refilling it), patching all the spots where our previous footings were, and spreading the mulch we had under our deck to cover the bare spot where the old stairs were.
