Thank You! Brody for saving my horse from pain I had gotten my horse shod from a recommended farrier from Pioneer Equine in Oakdale. I don't want to say the name because they are popular in that town. Let's say "Horses hooves are not suppose to be squared." The other farrier took out so much soul it was sad . And told me it was for break over ‍total Fluff to do a quick job . I got Brodys number from Taylor Vet after I had to take my baby in because he was hurting so bad. Brody was tender and gentle and explained to me what was going on even had a Reference pictures and information to help me understand what was going on. First and foremost Thank You ! Taylor Road Equine for suggesting Brody and thank You Brody For coming and taking care of my Horse He is Running in the pasture again and happy. See you in 8 weeks read more

My horse has gained such confidence with Brody. This is a horse that nobody was able to touch he was under the care of one other person who seemed to be wary of how green he was to being trimmed. Brody has boosted this horse's confidence so much and kept his feet looking amazing. Toto and Tris are grateful to have you as their farrier. read more

Brody was able to come out to the ranch where we board, and was very patient with our 11 year old moody mare. Daisy dosen't tie well, or like to stand in one place for long, and she usually dosent like new people either. He talked to Daisy like he was talking to his best friend. He put on some music for her, and She stood there the whole time letting him shoe her front hoofs, and trim and file the back. Brody definitely had a passion for what he does, and we are blessed to have found him for our horses hoof needs. Highly recommended, and will use him as our forever Farrier. read more

I apologize for the long post. I don't usually post reviews, but I feel the need to share my experience and you, dear reader, can come to your own conclusions. Brody shod my horse 3 times. On 3/2/2023 the first time Brody shoes my horse. Sometimes he would explain what he was doing, answered my questions, and would watch for my horse's reactions to his actions. It took about 2 hours. On 3/10/2023 my vet came to vaccinate, worm, etc. Before leaving she said, Tell your farrier that the shoes he used are too small. When I called Brody with this information, he said, Well, your vet is wrong. I know my work. On 04/18/2023, This is the second time Brody shoes my horse. He said he would use a larger size shoe to appease my vet. The shoes looked much better this time. I was impressed with my horse's patience and good behavior during this 3 hour farrier visit. On 06/15/2023 This is the third and final time Brody shoes my horse. I was not home, but my son was. When I arrived home Brody said that it goes must faster when I'm not there and my horse acts better. He said there was one issue but they worked thru it. I'm not sure what these statements mean, he would never explain them and now denies them. I have a broken wrist and have been unable to even halter my horse until last week when I saw that the front left shoe was not completely under the hoof wall on one side, but was unable to lift the foot. Another vet from the same practice came to see my horse and I asked her to look at the hoof for me. The first thing she said was, I'm surprised he's not lame!! And also the shoes are too small. It had been only 3 weeks since he was shod. I was shocked and angry how Brody had shod my horse in a way that would make him lame plus again used shoes that were too small. I also noticed cracks in the hooves and big chunks missing in the walls, which Brody never mentioned to me. I called Brody to say I no longer needed his services because the last shoeing was awful. I explained what the vet said. He said he didn't understand where this was going and he knows his work. I said I no longer want you to shoe my horse. He replied I don't want to shoe your horse. God bless and good bye then hung up. No apology, no compensation, no offer to fix it. Very unprofessional. I attached a photo of Brody's work. You be the judge. read more

Wow, is all I can say! Brody was amazing from the first call. We have 2 rescue mini donkeys that had trauma in the past with the farrier and wanted nothing to do with them. Brody knew exactly what to do and how to gain there respect with just his clam voice and patients. My husbands and I are still amazed he was able to do both in the first visit. God has defiantly blessed Brody with a talent. I would recommend Brody to anyone looking for the the best farrier who truly cares about his pet clients. He is the donkey whisper!!!! Thank you again, see you in 4 weeks the Garcia Family read more

Brody is absolutely amazing. He was amazing with my horses. For the first time our young gelding did not fight having his trim, Brody was so patient and respectful of him. Brody was also so above and beyond anyone else who has ever worked on our horses with our older gelding who had part of his hoof wall come off from an abscess. Brody took such good care of the injury and took special care to show us how the angle that his hooves had was not correct, then corrected it. Absolutely the best farrier ever both horses and human are beyond happy!! Thank you Brody!! read more

Great farrier! Super informative. Gentle and caring towards my gelding. Took his time fixing my horses feet which were messed up by previous farrier. He's acting like a completely different horse. His feet look amazing! Thank you so much!! read more

This was my 2 year old stallions first time with a farrier, in the past he has had problems having his hooves touched/trimmed and wouldn't stay still, but Brody was AMAZING with my horse. I have never seen my horse so comfortable around someone besides me. This guy is definitely an all around horseman and Split will definitely be seeing Brody again! read more
