When they arrived the lights were not what we ordered and were told okay they would return them and get the correct ones. When we went to get them after not hearing from Pat's Lighting for weeks only to find out they had closed and were in or going into bankruptcy. Now we are out $ some $700. We called Alchemy and spoke to Roberto the owner who remembered the situation and was good enough to sell us the lights at a MUCH reduced cost. We are now working with our credit card company attempting to get a refund for not receiving our lights originally ordered. Roberto produces great product and was terrific to deal with. Thanks Roberto

I called Dary this morning and made an appointment to bring it in for repair. They are "by appointment" for now to protect everyone's health. I explained that we had come into town (we are out beyond Eldorado) to run mostly medical errands, and he said he would fix the lamp as fast as possible, to avoid another trip. To my amazement, he called in less than 30 minutes to let me know the repair was done and the lamp ready to be picked up! I can't recommend his service and consideration more highly. You can be Made in the Shade will get all my repair business, and they have a great selection of shades and other decorative items, as well.

I Previously gave this store 1 star for the following reasons listed below. I have just changed it…read moreto 5 stars because Today I received a phone call from Todd at the store. They have decided to send me a new sign to my new address. It was a very nice surprise as I had never expected to see it again. I am very grateful that they are replacing it. I would now definitely do business with them again and I learned a valuable lesson when using PayPal to definitely double check the auto fill information that they provide to retailers. (Previous review) I ordered a custom address sign and used PayPal to pay for it. We moved 3 weeks after ordering the sign but figured we would get tracking info and would be able to pick it up once delivered. Apparently they sent it a few days after we moved but never sent us tracking info. After waiting 6-8 weeks I called Kiva Lighting to find out why it was taking so long and they said they had shipped it a month ago. I went back to my old address and it was not there. No neighbors had found it and neither did the rental management company taking care of the property. Kiva said it's PayPal's fault. PayPal said it was kivas fault. Now I'm out $135.00 and I have NOTHING to show for it. I went back to Kiva after trying to fight it through PayPal and they offered to replace it at a 25%discount which would still be over $100 more than what I already spent. I am so beyond frustrated with both this company and PayPal.

She said she would check on the status and never replied back. Since July 7th...I have emailed and called them 6 times each. Very bad customer service. They will probably resound in another 20 days and tell me that one is Out Of Stock too. Nice items but that does not outweigh the horrible customer service.
