We had a party of 6 adults and my 4 month old granddaughter. It took a while to get our food but with a bigger party that is expected. I had the meatloaf plate and it was so good! My parents both had the hamburger steak plate, and my husband, my son and his wife all had cheeseburger baskets. Everyone loved the food and our waitress was so sweet. I got a barbecue with no sauce, a french fry and I opted to get a side salad instead of slaw . My spouse got a hamburger steak with peppers and onions, french fries and opted to get a side salad instead of slaw.. Most of the time when you get a well done hamburger steak it's dry. She said it was so juicy so delicious. The fries were so crispy just out of the fryer, the side salad most of the time you get a salad and it's not really cold , cold. this salad was so fresh, cold and so crispy .. I wanted another one. Their ranch dressing is the ranch dressing that everybody looks for, that homemade ranch dressing. It was delicious now my barbecue I don't eat sauce so they made me some without it. It was so yummy. When you drive by this restaurant, it's just a little hole in the wall small restaurant. But the flavor is SO BIG . The staff go above and beyond for you don't think just because it is a little country place it isn't good because it is worth stopping in. I do a lot of reviews , I go all over the United States if you keep driving by this place that's your loss. These are the kind of people who take time to get your food right .. it is absolutely delicious. I'll say five star. It don't look at driving by , but go in. Ordered a hamburger steak, cooked medium, emphasized hot pink in the center, with corn on the cob and french fries. Food comes out, the hamburger steak was very well done. Instead of taking my plate away, she scooped the hamburger steak onto a saucer because she had to prove to the cook that it's burnt. I wait 10 to 15 minutes for the replacement, and that's all that comes out. Corn is cold, fries are cold. I mention that to her, no response. The corn was sitting in a small dish of butter. No way to eat it, except picking it up with my bare hands, butter running down my hands. Plenty of seating available, they stuck us in a cubby that felt like we were in sardine can. Had to take my wife's bag back out to the vehicle because there was nowhere to put it. So much for the ambience. Been there, done that, never again. I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because my wife did enjoy the lobster and crab bisque.

As we entered the establishment I asked a wise senior woman what she enjoyed the most on the menu and she replied " the prices". When they raised their prices, obviously necessary, I overheard several customers discussing the price increase~they agreed the prices were increased a bit too much. The first time I went I had the garlic cheddar bites. They are AMAZING! Unfortunately you must eat them there. You cannot take them home and reheat them because they get hard as a brick when you do so lol. Otherwise I'd take home sooo many orders. And their marinara they give you is sooooo good and a legit marinara! The fries are also amazing and one of a kind! They're not just typical restaurant fries, they have a unique crispy batter that tastes amazing! I don't remember what kind of. Main meal I got that time. But the second time I got the Philly. I unfortunately had to send it back. It was extremely dry. And I decided to go with the patty melt instead with extra onions which was WAY better and to DIE for! What disappointed my fiancé and I was his first time, he got the buffalo chicken sandwich, and the chicken was huge and great quality and it came with cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. The second time he got it, the chicken quality was horrible. It was a chicken patty that was smaller than the bread.. they made it open faced and it literally just had the plain patty and a piece of cheese on the bottom bun and then on the top bun, a squirt of buffalo. It was horrible. Overall everything is pretty great. But they do slack some days on certain items. I will say that every time we go, whatever server we get, is always so sweet, kind, understanding and a joy to be around!
