She has to step out a few times because of certain tools weren't in the correct place. After she treated me so quickly and not in a calm pace she left into another room to work with someone else. I didn't like how she didn't tell me what she was going to do when she was treating me and when I told her I was in pain she ignored me. I cried and I have a high pain tolerance. I went in a while back with a bit of vertigo but also a bit of severe light-headedness. I was shocked how quickly she arrived at the diagnosis, and she did it with lightning speed, which is why I initially thought her conclusion was suspect. Umm, not to mention, I didn't want to hear what she had to say! I didn't want to admit to myself that it was a neurological issue, not a vestibular one, since the latter is infinitely easier to treat and fix than the former. Anyway, despite that I didn't want to admit it to myself or to her at the time, she turned out to be correct. She's sort of has a robo-doc presence, and if you've ever seen the counterpart movie, you'll know what I'm talking about. Her presence I initially found off-putting, but honestly, I wasn't here to make a best friend and confidante. For my needs, purely medical in nature, she was perfect.

He also does things pretty much immediately when he says he will, which is very in line with my personality and earns him great respect in my eyes. I felt very at ease with him and trusted his opinion. How he keeps track of all his patients and everything going on is astounding. I also think the man works day and night. I accidentally called his direct line once late night, and thought I hung up before it rang. I called them a day after being urgently referred, got sent to the wrong directory and left a message with a random dr office. No contact. Called back a week later, they realized then that they had missed my referral, and was told they sent it in for urgent scheduling. A day and a half later get a call to set up a zoom call for a week and a half out with a urologist (Hao Nguyen). Fine. Ok. Get a random call a week later asking to confirm my appointment and oh, check the ucsf app as there are a bunch of questionnaires to complete. Oh, good thing someone told me about those (wth?). Complete questionnaires which includes some key family history. Time for the big day, I'm supposed to call into the zoom 15 mins before the appointment, so I do at the inconvenience of friends and family. 28 MINS after the urologist was supposed to join, he shows up claiming internet issues, tells me I need another test which he supposedly scheduled, has no idea on my history and ends the call. So more delays. So upset with the entire experience. Seeking a different practice for help.

My hearing decreased a bit so i looked a buying a new set to take advantage of changes in technology. They suggested the phonak ultrasphere. These have much better controls and integration with the iphone but to get better results you really have to know how to use the app. They got on support with Phonak and walked through my use case and we tailored the app (from the phonak app and apple dash board) so that i could adjust for different use cases : TV, playing live music, restaurant, etc. The Phonak can reprogram some settings with a remote session. So in my house we logged into a support call and they adjusted some of the settings. They also phoned me a few times so that i could learn about some of the nuances - such as adjusting sound levels of background noises. The Phonak allows adjusting speaker and mic levels as well as mike source. It's no fun losing your hearing as you get older but really great having the support of professionals who know their way around new technology!

I went to the clinic twice in the same day, first as a walk-in and later with a scheduled appointment. On my second visit, I waited for over 70 minutes and received no meaningful update about when I would be seen. Eventually, I had no choice but to leave. What was most disappointing was the receptionist's attitude. She appeared friendly and attentive to some patients, while being noticeably dismissive and rude toward others. As a patient, it is frustrating to feel ignored and treated differently, especially when already dealing with a health concern. Waiting can happen in healthcare settings, and most patients understand that. However, there is a big difference between unavoidable delays and poor communication combined with a lack of respect. After 70 minutes, I could have gone to another urgent care clinic and received treatment elsewhere. Patients deserve to be treated with courtesy, professionalism, and respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience today. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve both customer service and communication with patients.

They were going to use a throat swab and flu doesn't often come up in a throat swab as the viral load is too low in the throat. They then did a nose swab, but really they should have done a nasalpharyngeal swab. No apologies and they seemed peeved at me pulling them up on that. They also had me me stand at the front desk for 10 mins answering questions when I was feeling very bad to begin with. Also, some may appreciate knowing they will not meet with an MD during their visit. I met only with a PC. I don't think I'll return - I'll stick to Sutter urgent care in downtown San Mateo.

All of my colleagues including myself agree thar Zoloft and Adderall are compatible with a very slight chance of an adverse reaction. At this point I'm fed up. I've made multiple calls. I just want my money back. Update: EZCare provided me with a complimentary consultation with a different physician to resolve the issue. Once the consultation started the doctor told me he was going into the consult blind. They failed to let him know what was going on . He told me he couldn't prescribe anything because it would be stepping on the toes of the previous provider. Needless to say this consult provided no therapeutic value. Communication is terrible. All communication goes through a call center that sounds like it's based out of India. I wish they had a feature where you could send a direct message to the provider. After many many calls. I'm done. Exhausted: this place actually did harm to my mental health.
