My appointment was before noon, so the fact that they were already that backed up that early in the day isn't a good thing. When I arrived, I waited in the lobby for over 30 minutes before asking the front desk if they were still able to see me. She said they'd bring me back in 2 minutes. I was taken back about 5 minutes later (not a big deal) and the attendant who took me back to the exam room told me the doctor would be right with me. I then sat for over 20 minutes without being seen by anyone. At that point, I was over it so I got up and left.

I paid $250 in copay without insurance. I went for treatment, but the doctor couldn't put my shoulder back in place, Dr say need surgery. It was late, so I had to go to the next day. I was given various explanations at 8am. I waited in the hospital for a long time. But after 11am, the receptionist told me say $1500 need pay first. My husband was overseas and would be returning in three days, so I was unable to consult with him and couldn't pay the full amount immediately, so we decided to cancel the surgery. I decided to give up on treatment at this hospital and go to Duke EM next Tuesday for a second opinion.　It was two long days and a waste of $250. There was no quick fix, no solution.
