It's the people you meet and the friendships you make along the way! This past weekend, my family and I had the pleasure of visiting New York City to celebrate our son TJ's 16th birthday. And thanks to a fellow Marine, Fredy, owner of SempeRide LLC, our experience was even more special! I appreciate great food, outstanding customer service, and business owners who take pride in what they do. Well, Fredy checked ALL THREE boxes and then some! What started as a transportation arrangement turned into something much more meaningful. Fredy didn't just drive us around NYC. He took the time to personally show us Bryant Park and some of the iconic sights of Midtown Manhattan, share stories, laugh, and, most importantly, break bread with a fellow Marine and my family! We enjoyed some incredible seafood, burgers, and great conversation. But as delicious as the food was, the fellowship around that table was even better! That's what I love about the Marine Corps brotherhood. It doesn't matter how many years have passed since we wore the uniform or where life takes us. That bond never goes away. Fredy, my brother, thank you for your generosity, hospitality, professionalism, and for treating my family like your own. You reminded me that exceptional customer service isn't simply about providing a service. It's about building relationships, creating experiences, and leaving people with memories they'll cherish long after the transaction is over. Not only was Danielle incredibly sweet, patient, and understanding, she had a driver on the way in less than 10 minutes! Needless to say, we made the appointment, with time to spare, all thanks to NYC Wheelchair!! When he was done, we just had to call the number back and they sent our driver right away! It was so simple and stress free! Both myself and my father were absolutely amazed with the impeccable customer service, the speed at which they came to the rescue, the friendliness and compassion of the staff, and a pleasant experience overall! They provided a smaller vehicle than I paid for and refuse to refund the difference because I still used the service. Their driver's vehicle also had zero suspension and every light on his dashboard was lit up like a Christmas tree...which eventually caused the vehicle to bottom out and broke the legs on my husband's wheelchair. They won't even acknowledge this in the small amount of correspondence I get. I will be filing a complaint with the TLC. No one should ever use this despicable excuse for a service.

I found these folks by accident and they really came through for me…read more You can reserve online, pay ahead of time, and the driver shows up, usually early, and the dispatch and office lady coordinate quickly and efficiently to iron out any wrinkles (Manhattan offers many challenges to riders trying to find their drivers!) It'sa delight to just roll into the van, get locked down, plenty of room for able-bodied companions, and get where I'm going, no fuss, no muss, no worries. It can cost more than a taxi if you are going a short distance, say from Times Square to the Met, but for this customer, it is worth every penny to have a ride guaranteed, and no hassles about the wheelchair.
