The pie is so yummy and filled with apples! I love how you can choose from the frozen ones or the fresh ones. I usually get a fresh one, eat a bit, and then freeze the rest. There are also some samples of their dips and granola from the last time I went. All of them tasted pretty good! This place is always a great stop while you're on the road.

The lady who works here is super friendly, charming, and sweet. I think she is about 93 years old. So awesome! The ranch is clean and organized and prices were good. You can see them packing bags of oranges. Currently, you can buy 5 lb for $10 or 10 lb for $20. Mandarins are juicy and sweet. You may be able to buy other fresh farm produce here, such as lemons, Cara Cara oranges, blood oranges, or walnuts. You can find products from other local farms, like honey or Newcastle Mandarin Ranch sauces. You can pay by credit card. When mandarins are in season, you can pretty much be assured that what you're buying here is no more than a day or two from being picked from the trees. It's the end of the season now, and I picked up probably one of the last 10 pound bags they'll be offering for now. Even though it was end of season, the mandarins are just the way I like them - the best variety (in my opinion) - easy to peel, seedless, juicy. So glad I have something like this nearby!

You feel as if you've been transported into the 1940s where life was simpler and what was grown on the farm provided food for your family, neighbors and friends. Old buildings, packing sheds and farm vehicles gives you a piece of old Americana that is slowly disappearing today. The vintage atmosphere and the beautiful hills surrounding you gives you a sense of calm and a feeling of what a farm was like back in the day. You cannot make this stuff up. This is the way it was and still is today. The history behind this place is amazing! Four generations have kept this 30-acre fruit farm alive. Even after the Great Depression and Internment camps, they rolled up their sleeves and kept farming. Much of the rootstock was brought from Japan. There are some trees that date back possibly 150 years. This farm is the real deal! The Mandarins are sweet and juicy. They have several varieties, including Zishan, Okitsu Wase, Page, Unshiu, and the most popular, Owari Satsuma. You can sample them to see which ones you like the best. The family is very picky about the quality of fruit that they sell. They pick fruit daily and everything in the fruit stand has been freshly-picked either that day or the day before. Prices are reasonable, and even lower prices for seconds, which are still great. And it's self-service; can you believe it! The "Honor System". Wow!
