I tried their momo or dumplings. It was like your traditional Chinese dumplings, but the fillings had more of an Indian flavor. Nepal uses a lot of spices similar to India. I loved the flavors. It was so different, yet familiar to me. Their Veggie Dal Bhat is your basic vegetarian platter with Dal (lentil soup), potatoes, chickpeas, and other veggie goodness. They all had great flavor from the many spices they used. They also have a bunch of fried noodle dishes, so I tried one. It came with chili sauce, that reminded me of sambal oelek. The noodle were cooked well, and I liked the flavor. The staff was friendly and helpful. I liked the food. The coconut chutney that came with it was made from powdered coconut and it was ordinary at best. The South Indian mixed vorspeise was a bit disappointing and lacked flavour. It's suited to the German palette and not an Indian one. Service was very friendly and the guy who welcomed us was very nice. The place is big with lots of outdoor seating and a nice way to spend an evening. I may go back here again but it's too far from home and I would have to really think hard before I do.
