When the taxi showed up my son needed help to walk to the taxi and as he got into the car the driver started to protest and insist that my son was drunk and proceeded to throw him out of his taxi! The kind men who were helping my son tried to explain to the driver that he was staff and was unwell but he was having none of it !!! This caused so much more distress to my son , I can't imagine how he must have felt! I would never recommend this company to anyone !

Unbelievably unprofessional Service…read more I was at Jaguar Landrover today and the reception staff kindly called me a taxi to Southend. After waiting for 35 minutes the taxi finally arrived. I got into the taxi and the driver asked where I was going to, which I confirmed Southend Central. He then said that he was called for a fare to Basildon. The Receptionist confirmed that they had logged my taxi 25 minutes before the second fare which was also waiting. The Taxi driver asked me to exit the car as the other fare was "worth more money to him" and that he didn't work for Andrews Taxis, saying "I am self employed". The person waiting for his taxi said that he knew I was waiting before him and that he would happily wait for the next one. The driver however said no I need to get out of the taxi. This is the most appalling treatment I could expect from a taxi company. Andrews Taxi's obviously do not care about the reputation of their business or the conduct of their drivers. Before placing this review online (placed at 3:59), I called Andrews Taxi to speak with a manager at 10am. They took my details and said someone would call me straight back. 6 hours later and still no call but based on the experience today, I am not surprised. Have told my daughters not to use this firm especially with unprofessional drivers such as the one I had the unfortunate business of meeting. Avoid if you possibly can.

I booked a return taxi and after calling them 10 times over a period of 1 hour with no answer I had to arrange alternative transport. The service is outrageous! I advise you to use an alternative company. It's no wonder Uber thrive when local taxi companies can't provide a service that customers can rely upon. Lack of communication and leaving people stranded is not acceptable
