The prices are fair and generally i am charged the same price for the same journey on most occassions. When i have been charged more i politely mention that i usually pay this price and the drivers usually say 'ok'. I am a very nervous passneger and the drivers i have had are always careful and chatty if you engage them first, which always helps me enjoy my cab ride! This morning (22/05/2018) the cab was 10 minutes late so rang the office. Basically they couldn't find the booking, than changed the story and told me that the car had been waiting for us outside our house at the time ordered and nobody came out so they drove off. This was clearly untrue as my wife had been looking out the window waiting for its arrival and would have seen it. Certainly no message to mobile as is usual, no horn and no knock on door. When i questioned that the cab had actually arrived at all the lady on the phone shouted at me 'I can prove it mate' and put the phone down. No offer to resend a car. Nice. So if you want a reliable cab service do not try this one. If you want a polite service do not try this one.

I dont accept it because its usually my disorganisation that means I ring them at the last minute. They are excellent, certainly not cowboys. Their prices are reasonable too. No cab is cheap these days but I really cant argue with their prices.

I asked him to return in an hour and to meet me at the pub across the road. I was in a job interview and the employer happened to be extremely chatty and I was there well over an hour and wasn't able to let the cabbie know I was running late. He went to the pub to collect me and when I didn't show up, he came back to the office building where I was dropped off and patiently waited for me to come out. And when I finally did, he was just as cheerful as before. He could have easily left since I was so late and couldn't reply to his text, or at the least, started the meter up while he was waiting, but he did neither. After bad experiences with other taxi services, it was refreshing to find one so helpful.
