They ask me to leave the car under observation I did . 2 days later after me calling and texting them. They said it was the top and it was replace. Took the car. 2 day later same thing . When I check it was very low a coolant. Added coolant called and took the car back fpr the 2nd time. 3 days later they tell me a part was replace and it's all fixed. 3l2 days pass and the light is back on .I call then they tell me the shop didn't reset the light .when I check low coolant again.i tell them it's low they sent Saturday a men to pick up the car and gave us a car to move around until they fix the problem now it's March 12. I live three hours away. Marcos responded to my inquiry and went above and beyond to send me pictures and videos to feel comfortable about the vehicle. When I was ready to talk/text about the numbers, I worked with Luis. We negotiated and agreed upon a fair price including my trade-in. I put a deposit down and planned to drive to their shop a few days later. Luis was very helpful with keeping in touch and helping me with the steps needed on my end to do this as I was new to the FL process. Did I read the "one star" reviews and was I super nervous about the whole thing? YES. But, do not get swayed by those reviews. Everything went exactly as Luis said it would. The car was as described. At first it seems as if the dealership was working with us as clients to help us with our needs and soon after it turned into a nightmare because they just care about making a purchase without caring about the financial burden it can cost us as clients... I went in to simply sell my car and they offered a deal that we couldn't say no to because they were being flexible with the method to come up with the Down payment. they gave us a way out that was approved for a down payment to help with the upside that we had on the car and then for some reason something that was approved reason for us moving forward with the purchase it got canceled. After the actual bank that was giving us the loan approved us and they paid off our previous car... now they are holding the tag hostage because of the down payment money that they knew we didn't have and that it wasn't our fault the approved application somehow got canceled after a month of the purchase. They do things to purposely but you in a situation that you can go back from. As a client I would rather go back on all the transaction overall but instead of them explaining to me the timeframe I have for that they just hold hostage a tag. Coming from a millionaire company it's pretty petty that they can't keep their side of the bargain where we were going to pay $500 for 6 months, just to keep a client in good terms with them. They are now holding hostage a tag and we have no money to get it and now we have to pay the monthly bill for a car that we can even drive. My household is a house hold with 3 kids and both my husband and I work and require our car and Ambar Motors has left us without one. The worst dealership I have ever dealt with. Also, the offer a price online that is not the price of the car when you show up in person, when you ask for the price of the car... they act stupid and don't really give you the price.... When you ask for the car fax... they act like they have amnesia to then get you busy on the paperwork and have you sign to then show that the car has been in a previous accident... the offer you an amount for referrals and when the referrals are brought in they lower the amount that they originally mention to you and the worst part is that they don't even remember what the amount was from what they last told you... every thing is to benefit them.... DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES! BAIT AND SWITCH! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!! I was contacted by Ambar Motors after I got a KBB online appraisal of my car. The Ambar representative promised that Ambar would pay me $1000 more than any other written offer I received for my Lexus-certified 2018 ES350, still under warranty. I called Ambar several times to verify that this $1000 extra would be paid--even if the other offer was only an online offer, and my car had not been actually seen by the dealer offering that figure. I was told again and again that if I brought in the emailed offer and the car, Ambar motors would beat the offered price by $1000. I explained that I am disabled, and that it hurts me to drive, and that Ambar Motors is a long way from my home, so I wanted to be sure that they would actually pay $1000 more than any other written offer I received, even if the other offer was only emailed. Again I was told this was true, as long as I brought in the emailed offer, and also told that in addition to beating the offer, Ambar would pay for my Uber back to my house after I sold them the car! So I made the long drive down to Ambar motors, which resulted in back pain, and was then told that their offer would actually be $4,400 LESS than the other offer I received! Of course, I explained that again and again, I was told by their representative that Ambar's offer would be $1000 higher than the one I showed them. The salesman said this would not be the case, especially because my offer was only online. I told him that I had specifically asked the Ambar representative about this numerous times before I drove down. And the only reason I drove there was because I would be assured the online offer would honored and I would be paid $1000 beyond it. I told him that I had asked this very question several times, that I am an English professor who is fully fluent in the English language, and if I had been given an honest answer, I would not have driven there. I told him Ambar Motors had wasted my time, and moreover hurt my back in the long drive--FOR NOTHING. Living in Alabama, I brought a Ford Mustang 2018. the customer service was okay until they received my down payment, then the customer service plummet. The dealership was greatly in a rush to get the signed papers from a local representative. Waiting 7 days for them to get back to me about the papers. Once they got the papers the dealership failed to contact me stating they have them. Calling them back to back for people in the office to say they are busy, or can they call me back. basically getting the round around. From a long wait! they finally contact me after i texted the sales lady why its taking so long! The manager picked up the phone was very rude, with a anger tone. Once the bank sent them their payment. They called this horrible company to ship me my car. I paid 1060 dollars in cash for them to this. The sales lady promised me the car a monday, or tuesday. I called the dispatcher of the trucker, to ask him when would the car be here. he told me Tuesday afternoon. On the deadline of the date and time. i had to hunt the dispatcher down. to find out where was my car. he tells me the truck broke down. which is only 3 hours away from his office. The dispatcher never gave me any updates as to where my car was at! after he claimed he would. it was as simple as sending another truck out 3 hours away to pick it up and keep driving. i had to force updates out of him every couple of hours. it has now been 2 days passed the deadline. at this point i asked the dealership what was the company name that picked up my car. they claimed they don't know. also claiming they are not responsible for the contractors who has my car. WHEN IN FACT IT WAS THE LAW FOR THEM TO MAKE SURE I RECIEVE MY CAR. I had to threaten them with a lawsuit for them to take action just to ask the company they claimed they didn't know the name of about my car to find out it will be here tomorrow afternoon which is a Thursday. the sale lady finds the paper of what the company signed to take my car away with the companies name on it. this was after i threaten them with a lawsuit. this dealership also had the wrong monthly payment written down which was 38 dollars more than what the bank said i would pay. I asked them for a refund of the shipping fee. both the dealership and the truck company was throwing the blame on eachother. I ADVISE EVERYONE TO NEVER COME HERE FOR A CAR! We told them that we would bring them a bank check tomorrow and they said NO take it or leave it. Thanks to Ambar Motors I had the absolute worst experience purchasing my vehicle. Ambar motors only cares about the sale. As a young female I was immediately judged for my appearance. Nevertheless, after signing the contract paying for my car and trading in my previous vehicle I was contacted by Ambar a week later and told I had to pay a $400 fee. Ambar tried to get me to pay a dealership fee that was being assessed by Honda to the dealer. Not once did a manager bother calling me. Instead I went back and forth with a sales associate that showed me his commission check was cut because of his mistake. Foolishly, I sent the gentlemen half the cost. Not even two weeks later AGAIN Ambar contacted me this time for $250 for a new the for a mistake they had made when I told them I had a tag. I had to physically go to the dealership twice before being forced to pay for the same tag number I had on my previous car only to be told that Ambar lost the tag on my trade in car. AGAIN Ambar asked for more money for a piece of metal that they lost. The "managers" I spoke to could not be bothered. Although one manager did come by he passed us along to another associate who pretty much said tough luck. As an attorney and consumer I am absolutely appalled at the behavior of the employees as a whole. Ambar is nothing more than the Spirit of car dealerships. I bought a car with Ambar Motors in 2020. Because of my credit, I was told that I would pay 408.00 for six months, and then it will go down to 380.00. When time passed, I called the bank and they told me that it is simply not true. A week ago, I contacted them to see if they had something I could get for less monthly payment. They told me they had a 2018 Cadillac. I would be paying 370.00 to 447.00 a month, but that would depend on the credit.I explained to the lady that I had a car and that I was offered 19,700, leaving me with around 3000.00 as a down payment. She said no problem, but I needed to go in the dealership to work the numbers. She even stated that I may get a better offer. I went there as scheduled. Salesperson asked me how much I owed on the trade in 3-4 times. We test drove the Cadillac. Screen did not work. Went back to the office. Again, I received two offers from two different dealers, one for 19,700, another for 18,200.00. Ambar offered me 14,000.00. I owe 16,500.00. I would be upside down big time. Young with no credit, going to school starting to get going in life went here got a car just so I can make payment and build my credit that was really the only purpose. Your suppose to get free oil changes and tires every 2/3 years of course they made it impossible, had to go to their location between 11a/12p-4/5pm to pick up a ticket mon-friday, of course minus lunch which apparently has no time in particular, in order for you to be allowed to go to another location where the oil changes were done. There was only 1 person who can give you the cheap paper ticket and her hours were never set in stone I arrived 20min before her the time once and she had left early so if you work..... yea...exactly it's a mission. ended up usually doing my own oil change if I could make their schedule, however I went one day to get a ticket (it had been a while, considering) and they refused to allow me to do so unless I found every receipt of all my oil changes not done with them. ???? Of course this wasn't stated in a nice way, it came out of no where and they refused to continue these services unless I found copies of all my oil changes, which if they had on the policy I would have done. It was not worth the battle it's a cheap and crappy dealer. They never changed my tires either and I never really had any good customer service when ever I was there anyway.
