Found these guys on thumbtack. I mean, responsive plus quality work... No b.s either. The head guy explained what he saw and thought and was real honest about options and pricing. Then came the work and it was efficient and excellent. Brand New roof, gutters and even an additional repair near the gutter which used to be an eye sore. Super grateful and highly recommend. Thumbtack has more reviews for them but wanted to be their first on Yelp. read more

this company is absolute garbage. I recommend everyone stay away from these people. They stated the job would take one day. They came six times because it was leaks everywhere. The roof has not been on for more than a month. The windy weather literally ripped off all the flashing. We attempted to contact him and he basically told us to go f*ck ourselves and call the insurance this guy s are slobs, and they do not guarantee their work. It's in everyone's best interest to find a real professional that backs up their work rather than this piece of garbage. He does horrible work gets paid and disappears. Don't let this happen to you. read more

Trust reviews! Jimmy from Amazing Roofing promised to provide a "beautiful" roof with a guaranteed satisfaction of his work for 5 years. The roof he left was SLOPPY leaving visible seams and unfinished with roof shingles left over the edgings. He agreed to return to fix his work, he then called and said he needed to get paid in extra in addition to our agreed price. Unfortunately I already paid cash in full without any recourse. Jimmy did return and I will need to hire another roofer to finish his job and to do it right. I would not not use Amazing. If you want a roof done correctly DO NOT USE Amazing. I do not typically leave reviews but if it means someone else will not use this company, I have to do it. We woke up on a Saturday morning to a leak in our bathroom ceiling and then we found another in the kitchen. There was rain in the forecast for the next 10 days so we were pretty worried about the situation. Feeling as if it was an emergency we contacted a few roofing companies to see when someone could come. Amazing Roofing called back and said they were available in about 2 hours (looking back on it this should have been the first red flag) so, in what we thought was an emergency, this came as a relief. They kept us updated about their arrival and they did show up on time, they were very considerate and took a look inside for where the leaks were and went up on the roof. Everything seemed to be going well. They did the initial inspection of the roof quickly and presented us with the quote and details of the repairs. They mentioned that the areas with the leak needed new shingles and that some exposed side areas of the roof needed to be covered as well. Then they mentioned the drain pipes needed to be extended, and that is something we already knew. So, overall it wasn't as bad as we were expecting and we felt like it needed to be done and the price wasn't so high, so we agreed. We were told that they would send over an official invoice and for us to read it over and then to provide a 50% deposit for them to get materials and get started. We actually left the house to go to an event so they kept us updated with texts and calls, and even sending pictures. A little over an hour later, we got a call letting us know that when they pulled off the damaged shingles they found rotted out wood, they sent us pictures and it looked really bad. On the call they said that to repair all of the damaged wood plus the shingles and other work from the initial quote, it would be another $2-3K, and that is when it all started to go wrong. They then said they could not finish the work that day (originally it was supposed to be only a few hours) until the end of the week, so they tarped the damaged areas of the roof and left. When we got home we discovered a pile of shingles left on our lawn (in the initial invoice it explicitly says they will remove all trash and debris) and that they had added the spouts for us and tarped the roof. A day or so passed and Jimmy would not stop calling. My partner was out of town for a few days and he kept saying that Jimmy was calling and would not leave it be. We had already decided to look into other roofers, knowing it was most likely going to be a huge project and we didn't want to pick them just because they were the only available company on Saturday. We wanted other options and quotes to consider. After multiple calls from Jimmy we decided for sure it was not a good match so my partner messaged him via Thumbtack (how we originally booked) to say we do not want to continue with the repairs. We had already paid the deposit on Saturday and that covered the little work they actually completed, if not more. Instead of messaging back via Thumbtack Jimmy kept calling and texting my partner. He said he had already ordered all of the materials, implying that we couldn't cancel. Keep in mind we never signed anything regarding the work, we just paid the deposit for the shingle repair. We never agreed to moving forward with any other project. Every other person who came to look at the roof told us that they would have never removed that many shingles and that Jimmy and his team seemed to have made the roof worse. When we found out how much the whole roof would be to repair with other companies, the amount Jimmy was trying to charge us for the two spots was insanely high in comparison. He ripped us off and seemingly did more damage to the roof. We want to be able to give Jimmy the benefit of the doubt but it is really hard to do that knowing we wasted money for nothing. If he had just said that the roof looked like it needed replacement from the start it would have been a different story. It felt very deceptive of him to tell us it wasn't that bad (after having been on the roof) and then to rip off more tiles than needed and try to overcharge us for something he did. In the end, the tarps did help and we did need the drain pipes but for what was done and the garbage they left in our yard, it was a rip off. I wish I could have left a good review for them but unfortunately, it was not a great experience and we have been very overwhelmed and frustrated since. We really should have trusted the negative reviews that were here, and reading them again now, we are confident in our decision to not move forward with Amazing Roofing. Even if it is an emergency, I would not recommend this company. read more

Let me first start off with, I don't normally write reviews but thought I should in this case. I hired Amazing roofing because I read the reviews and the majority were good reviews. I have to say though my experience has been quite the opposite. I contacted Amazing Roofing because I had a leak coming from the roof and I wanted a gutter put in to route the water from the roof to the drain pipe. I was told It would be better to replace the entire roof. First I was quoted a price to replace a small entranceway roof of which the price was not the best price but Jimmy matched the rate I was given so I went with his company. The rate he gave was 1000 more than the other quotes however like I said he matched it. However after they ripped off my roof they said I needed to pay more. Guess what? It was 1000 more. I didn't have much of a choice at that point so I agreed. I also had copper drip edges that I specifically said I wanted to keep but they were destroyed. He said he would replace them at no extra charge. When he finished the roof I looked at it and it was a sloppy mess with tar everywhere including all over the copper drip edge that he replaced. The trim that was removed from the roof that was replaced was done incorrectly where instead of cutting 45 degree angles on the corners, they just slapped them on top of each other and tried to put caulk over it to hide the corners. They didn't even use the correct length wood. I had to hire another company to take it down and fix it the right way. I ended up repurchasing the trim since the other trim could not be used with how it was cut. Amazing roofing did come back to try and fix the sloppy tar mess by hiding it with another layer of rubber roof mat cut into strips. He couldn't use the copper drip edges since they were destroyed with tar and offered to give me vinyl instead but the whole point was to keep the original copper drip edge so I said no. I knew at that point I would not see the copper drip edge that he promised. He said he would be back in a week to get it installed. A week went by then 2 weeks then a month then 2 months then 3 and guess what? You guessed it, no response. I reached out more than enough times before I decided to post this. The last I heard from Jimmy was that he was trying to get copper but everything was back ordered and there was no supply. I contacted to other roofers who came the next day with copper. And you know what the big kicker is? The leak I had with the drain is still leaking. Worse than before. I sent him the video of it and that also hasn't been fixed. At this point the roof is already bubbling around the edges and needs repair and I have hired another roofing company. The new guys were great, honest, and did clean work. Stay away from Amazing Roofing. They are far from amazing. If I could give 0 stars I would. I hope this helps someone from making the same mistake I made by hiring this company. Stay far away. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Sloppy roof job and I had to constantly follow up with Jimmy the owner and his guys. Save yourself the headache and run the other direction!! read more
