I was impressed with my experience at Amazing Lash. They're very professional and break down the different offerings in a visual way that makes it easier to understand what might appeal to you. That's the first time I've ever seen that done, anywhere. I've been getting my lashes done on and off for about eight years and I learned something new during my service (how to best wash them -- stroke them downward and not back and forth as I had been doing!) The lash stylist enters notes about your session, including the humidity conditions, into a tablet on the wall and they maintain this central system so if you have to come in and see someone else, they know exactly what to do and what you're expecting. I also found the price to be incredibly reasonable and the manager to be very caring and professional. If you're a first timer looking to jump in, I will say this -- please don't give TOO much credence to negative reviews from other first timers -- YOU are in control of your lash experience and that means if you sleep on your face, rub your eyes, or use oil-based products near your lashes, they WILL fall out prematurely and that's not the business's fault. I have been getting my lashes done here for the past 6 months. The last 2 months, my eyes have been very irritated after receiving fills. My eyelids would get swollen like I had a style. (For the record, I was washing daily with their cleanser, and I don't use oils or heavy creams on my face). After the last fill when my right eye was swollen like I was punched in the face, I scheduled to have my lashes removed. Having them removed was just as irritating as the gills. My lashes still have glue all over them. It looks like I have dandruff in my lashes. And on top of that, my real lashes are so sparse! I have always had full, long natural lashes - just a light blonde color. So the fake lashes were so convenient but I regret ever getting them done. I truly hope my real lashes grow back. But both times my lashes completely fell out by the 3rd day, and the last time this week, I paid $45 extra for hybrid & volume and my eyes are bare now only a few days later. I have a strict after care routine I don't get my lashes anywhere near water for 48 hours after. Ive been getting lashes for 1 year now, twice a month. As a first timer, I wanted to go somewhere reputable, rather than a random person I found online. The girl at the desk was dressed professionally and extremely friendly. My first encounter with my lash technician was her leaving to pick up her Starbucks, looking like she had just rolled out of bed. When she finally came back to bring me into the room, she never introduced herself, or did anything to make me feel welcome. I told her I had never had lashes before and really didn't know what to expect. She said very little, only asking me which lashes I wanted. (I was under the impression that this would be slightly more personalized, based on the website.) The entire process took less than an hour. After finishing, she handed me a spoolie to bush them and asked me if I liked them. I was given no instructions for aftercare. I asked if there were any dos and don'ts and she told me not to get them wet for 48 hours (good to know) I asked about make up and was told none for 48 hours as well. She mentioned that I could buy the lash cleaner to clean them with and walked me to the front to check out. The friendly girl at the counter helped me get the wash and brush and talked about joining. Since this was my first experience, I wasn't ready to commit to a monthly membership. Fast forward to less than a week later and I had about 15% of lashes left. I followed the minimal directions given to a tee, yet the extensions were literally falling out excessively. By the 8th day, I removed what little I had left because they looked ridiculous. This was an absolutely disappointing experience. I would not recommend anyone to go to amazing lash studio, especially as a "first timer". read more

Man this place is really not good. I tried four different lash techs on a two week fill schedule and had HORRIBLE retention rates every time. They were also very slow, One taking an hour and a half for a fill!! There are huge upcharges if you want your lashes to have more volume, and they're literally just switching from individuals to bundle lashes. My last fill was the last straw, with the tech pointing out that my retention was horrible and ACTUALLY SUGGESTING we remove them all and do a full set-at MY COST. Like i hadn't come in within a reasonable amount of time instead of it being their shoddy work. For the record, i don't do hot yoga, don't really work out much as I'm currently pregnant, don't use oils or creams on my eyes and always used a lash cleanser to wash. read more

Although it was completely complimentary Mykayla took her time and was meticulous with doing my lashes. And made sure I was satisfied with the style/ design etc. I decided to join their membership and will see how it goes going forward. Definitely a different experience than when I first visited the location and I'm glad I gave it a chance! Mykayla is awesome and transformed my eye! Based on the effort of the management to rectify the situation ASAP , I added another star. As a customer (I had intended to be a paying one initially), it's important to me that businesses show accountability and also just a willingness to help ; and they did just that. Just ok, I wouldn't recommend if you want to keep lash extensions on regularly. The eyelashes tend to fall out faster than the previous shop I went to, yet cost more. Everytime i go here, i leave happy. I am always greeted by the friendly welcoming staff upon arrival. The studio is not only aesthetically pleasing but also very clean. I have tried Lacy, Brooke, and Meg and all are professional. Meg would be my favorite so far because her technique causes me little to no irritation. I place no blame here as i have sensitive skin around my eyes. Meg was very informative about the glue she uses and even suggested a serum to help my lash growth as i have many baby lashes that are hard to apply extensions to. Making appointment is made very easy by using their app. I would say their costs are competitive with other lash salons and is best to do the membership. I went to this location on 1/6/2020 and got the volume lashes. My lashes have completely fallen out as of 1/10/2020 and I have reached out to the owner with no response. The women that worked here were not friendly with me and rushed through my service. I was 5 minutes late as I am new to the area and got a little confused as I was trying to find it. I did call and they were no help with directions either. I felt like I was a burden. $115 down the drain and I've been to Amazing Lash Studio before back in Florida. After I wrote my review, the owner (Don) called me and wanted to rectify the situation, promising me a different experience. I was reluctant, but took him up on it. I went to the Chesterfield location instead of Ladue. The atmosphere was very different and everyone was friendly and accommodating. I tried several stylists, all of them did a great job. The owner also made management changes based on feedback from several customers, so I went back to the Ladue location and had a much better experience. The best stylist I have ever had at all the locations of Amazing Lash is Lacy Stephens. I have been having lash extensions done every 2 weeks for the last 10 years. I have tried may stylists since I have had to move a few times. It's hard to find a person who is this good but she is by far the best in my opinion. She is fast and the lashes last longer. I have used her in the Texas location but unfortunately, for me, is that she moved to Missouri. I wish she didn't leave my location to move home, but I can highly recommend her. read more

So let's just start this off by saying that this is a new location and we all go through "growing pains." With that being said, I moved to this location from Chesterfield bc it was more convenient and I was a little worried switching stylists. The girl I initially had really did a number on my lashes, and not in a good way. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, new location, new employees, learning curves.... especially being in the cosmetology industry myself. I get it, we've all had to start somewhere. When I called to move my appointment up due to an INCREDIBLE amount of fallout, I was told she no longer worked there. I'm not gonna lie when I say I was relieved. But again, I should've spoke up! ALS was awesome at moving my appointment up on such short notice, even splitting me up for a removal with Dani and a fresh full set with Michaela. THANK YOU! Dani was incredibly sweet and was very gentle with my removal (I was very worried about lash loss.) Now Michaela... LISTEN UP.... M-I-C-H-A-E-L-A was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. She was A.) hilarious B.) VERY thorough C.) SO GENTLE and D.) a DAMN good lash stylist! I NEVER felt a thing! I literally could've fallen asleep! With EVERY appointment, even at Chesterfield, I had maybe some slight irritation, itchiness, some uncomfortable tugging etc. With MICHAELA I did not feel a thing! Not. Once. My eyes aren't itchy, my lashes aren't clumpy, my lash line doesn't feel tight, NOTHING but FLAWLESS lashes! When I got up to look in the mirror, I could've cried. With the fallout I had from my last couple visits, I wasn't sure if I'd still be able to have as luscious lashes as before. But I was DEAD wrong! Thank you Michaela for taking such great care of me! Now after all my rambling, if you've ever had a bad experience ANYWHERE...speak up! Chances are the business is trying to put their faith in their employees, as well as keep you happy! Do NOT waste your time going here to get your lashes done. I had the absolute worst experience I have ever had getting my lashes done. The technician glued my lashes shut on multiple occasions which caused my OWN lashes to be ripped out. At one point I just told her to stop and leave it alone because I was in SO much pain. My eyes were red and constantly watering. Don't worry it doesn't end there. The woman at the front desk got involved, asked me to come back the next day because she was late for a party then when I was instructed by the technician not to pay because of my terrible experience the psycho at the front desk chased me out the door, yelled at me to pay and threatened to call the police. YEP. Long story short I requested they pay for me to go somewhere else to have them removed and get a new set and they are refusing. The manager wants me to go back there and have them remove the lashes and put new ones on. WHY THE HELL WOULD I GO BACK WHERE I WAS JUST TRAUMATIZED?! I gave one star because Lacy does great lashes. If you cannot get into her it's terrible. The front desk clerk (names starts with an H) was terribly rude and would only let me book on certain dates and would not let me reschedule an appointment. Worse service ever! Gave this my final shot for my wedding (appointment on Thursday, wedding on Saturday). Friday, left eye was entirely sparse and lost majority of lashes. Kindly, they scheduled me quickly to correct the issue. My problem is the technician, Lacy. When I walked up to her she did not make eye contact, acknowledge with a polite greeting - nothing. She asked me what I felt was wrong (if she'd have looked up, she could easily see the problem). She was unpleasant and an awful vibe day before wedding. Huge waste of time on a day that is chaos.
