Dana just did a show for my daughter's 5th birthday and he was just wonderful. He arrived plenty early to set up and talk to us and guests and was so friendly and charming. The show was the perfect length for younger kids and so entertaining that the parents loved it too. He involves the audience and tells jokes and handled the squirmy kids and the skeptic ones who wanted to pop up and look through his props with finesse. He has been doing this for decades and one of the dads in the audience showed us pics from when Dana did HIS 6th birthday! Truly an amazing performer and a real treat for all. The wands and finger traps he added the to goody bags were a nice touch too! He was so good that others at the party were getting cards to book him for their parties. Get Dana, you won't regret it. The price is very reasonable compared to, for example, character performers too. We were just delighted with his work and he seems to genuinely love kids and performing. Honestly can't say enough good things. Thank you again Dana, we were so happy to meet you and my daughter and her friends had the best time! read more

What @Claire D. said. Besides putting on a show that had the adults laughing, Amazing Dana was also especially nice to our whole family, talking to us all ahead of time. My granddaughter can go a bit shy now and then but he brought out the best in her. The performance was the centerpiece of an amazing party. read more

Tremendous magician!!! You cannot go wrong booking the Amazing Dana for your event. The Amazing Dana was a superb addition to my celebration for my sister's and her daughter's birthday! I was figuring out what last minute surprise to provide for the party and Amazing Dana messaged me within 20-minutes of sending out my Yelp project. He was fast in getting back to me as well as had great availability (I'm not sure if I was lucky enough to score him right away). He showed up promptly, was very welcoming to the guests, and did an amazing job with the show. He managed to make the crowd laugh and even did tricks that involved the crowd, furthering the entertainment. It was an amazing show and he definitely made the celebration extra special for my sister and her daughter, and all of us! Thank you, Amazing Dana, for the awesome performance! A comedian and a magician! Love Dana's dry humor! Very professional and dependable.

Amazing Dana performed at my son's birthday party this past weekend. Amazing is an understatement for the performance that he put on. From arrival, Dana was extremely engaging and energetic. He was even thoughtful about which direction to perform as to not have the sun in children's eyes. Every single person enjoyed the show; adults and children alike. Dana even consulted with us before the show to see what our son likes and any special guests (friends or cousins) to bring up to participate in tricks. This was such a memorable experience for everyone. Lol, I had so much fun that the guy who RARELY writes reviews wrote one for Dana. He made my son's 6th birthday party huge success. Do yourself a favor: book the Amazing Dana for your next children's or adult party. You will not regret it. Thanks Dana! read more

Amazing is truly the right word for this entertainer, and what a quality human being he is! Immediately I enjoyed interacting with him, he was friendly and kind, truly looking the part of a magician. What a fun time we had with the great magician Dana this past weekend. It was an easy and thorough reservation. Dana updated us on all the details and confirmed prior to the event. He was very nice and friendly when we met him; felt like we're already pals. The kids loved him to the moon. They were so engaged and excited through the whole performance. Dana is truly charming and hilarious. Saw a short video of one of the acts that my mom recorded. Amazing Dana the Magician came to our local library and my daughter had a blast! She was the first volunteer to help with his tricks. She laughed and was in awe the entire time. All of the parents and children enjoyed the show. He was so smooth that I could not even see how he pulled off those tricks! He would be great to book for birthday parties, or events for the family or workplace! read more

Recently had Dana entertain a family 80th birthday party at a private room at El Fornaio in Coronado. Dana was very flexible and worked closely with restaurant staff to provide a smoothly flowing evening. Guests were ages 7 - 80 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed Dana's close-up magic followed by a family friendly show. Audience participation activities were great fun and will long be remembered!! Dana is very pleasant to work with and a great entertainer. I highly recommend the Amazing Dana and would definitely hire him again!!! read more

Amazing Dana put on an amazing show! We booked Dana for my 10 year old's birthday party because she has been really into magic for a few years. I was worried she and her friends might be a little old for a magician, but the show was great! A few friends/family members got to participate and you could see the joy on their face at getting to be a part of the show. Amazing Dana had good banter with the entire audience-he is very entertaining for the adults too! He is very professional and organized. He got back to me usually within a day every time I emailed him. He showed up early, was ready to start on time, and even stayed a bit after because kids (and my mother in law) kept wanting to talk to him. The kids loved the goody bags and I did too, because I hate making goody bags and these were already themed and sufficiently filled. I didn't feel like I needed to add anything to the bags. We booked the hour long show where he shows the kids how to perform a few tricks (with supplies from the goody bag). As soon as the bags were passed out the kids were all practicing their new found talents. When the party was over, I heard from several parents that their children were showing them all the tricks they learned. read more

Let me tell you about this guy Dana wow! Last minute a week before my daughter's birthday I was trying to find a magician. Both he father & work 40-50 weeks so unfortunately we kinda of planning on the fly. He was the only one that answered right away had amazing customer service. He was willing to work with my crazy time frame. Even though I myself and her father were late to the party and he ended up getting there before us. Unfortunately due to breaking my hand the day before. He was really sweet about it cuz I felt terrible. He didn't make us feel bad for being late we tried our best. All the kids loved it all the family loved him in my family who is Latin loved the fact that he also spoke Spanish for some parts. He had a wonderful presence with all the kids made everyone laugh even, had funny adult jokes *that would totally go over the kids heads so no worries haha*. Everyone just felt included! My daughters favorite part was when she got to levitate on a levitating table. She had to interact with the audience and she was a star. Dana Really made my daughters day feel special. Thank you for having such great experience and having such great customer service. Thank you for traveling for our daughters birthday. You are worth every penny and I will telling more people about you thank you read more

Amazing Dana Magic Shows - One ecstatic five year old - Magicians Near Me - El Cajon, California

1/17/15 Dana had come to my daughters 8th Birthday Party in Orange County and he was a hit!! All the kids loved him and the parents were cracking up as he was very funny too! Because he had to travel to Orange County, he had to add a travel fee but it was well worth it! I couldn't find a magician in Orange County that did a Show, Balloons and Comedy all in one act that was for sure to be a hit with the kids! He also saved me money and the headache of bringing some goodie bags to give to the kids with magic tricks and charges for additional bags at a minimal price that saved me a headache of buying goodie bags! As soon as the show was over I had several parents ask how I found him and how much he charged because he is perfect for kids birthday parties. I responded to them that I found him on Yelp! He will honestly entertain the entire party and we were lucky that he was willing to drive to the OC on my daughters birthday! Thank you Dana for making my daughters birthday party the party of the year! You truly are "The Amazing Dana"! read more

Could not have asked for a better experience or more professional person than the Amazing Dana. He performed an incredible magic show for our sons 6th birthday party and make sure both kids and parents had a great time. He involved all of the kids and kept both kids and parents guessing as to how he completed his illusions and tricks. Scheduling before and the day of the show couldn't have been easier in spite of some location hiccups at our venue. The party was on a Saturday at Mission Bay in June so not the easiest time or place to navigate.
