Saturday, September 2 @ 3:00 PM, Grandson's 6th Birthday Party In early August, I was in search for a magician for my grandson's birthday party since he loves magic. I contacted 3 magicians, who were out of town (San Diego & Corona) and their quotes were competitive. I contacted Lauren aka Sparkles the Clown thanks to her Yelp page, which brought me to her website. She was local and her pricing was extremely reasonable. She offers different packages on her website. I chose the Super Star package for 1.5 hrs up to 10 children where she does a magic show, balloon twisting and/or face painting, bubble play, and the parachute game. My grandson specifically did not want face painting, which was fine because they had a water slide & it would have been smearing everywhere. The entire set up was flawless from start to finish! Sparkles did not disappoint! What a phenomenal performer and fantastic show! She asked if there were any particular colors to wear and I told her that my grandson loves rainbow colors. Sure enough, she delivered! She captivated her young audience with her mystifying feats of magic and her engaging and exuberant personality. She skillfully captured their adoring attention, latched on, and never let go! Their favorite was the magic drawing board where Sparkles would draw a face, eyes, and mouth. By magic, the eyeballs & mouth moved, which elicited screams of delightful surprise from the kids! They enjoyed the bubble play, the giant parachute, and her balloon creations. She made my grandson feel like a VIP making him the star of the show but she involved all of the kids. They helped with the magic words and gestures. She had their rapt attention. Sparkles the Clown is a consummate show woman, a definite pro! This was such a great investment and her magical influence left such a wonderful impression on the children and their parents. Everybody asked how I found her and how enjoyable her show was. I told them I found her here on Yelp! The kids had an absolute blast! They didn't want her to leave & heaped multiple praises upon her. She did an encore performance with her magic drawing board, which still garnered the squeals of delight from earlier. We cannot sing her praises enough! She is highly recommended! Ms. Sparkles came to my daughter's 5th birthday party at my house. She was very easy to work with before the event. We had her with fun makeup instead of clown costume. We had mostly girls, with a couple of boys. Her performance was perfect for the ages of the kids, 3-6. They laughed constantly. Ms. Sparkles made it a very interactive show. She made my girl feel special. The show was the right amount of time for the kid's attention level. After the show she painted the kids faces. The kid's loved her artwork. We then began the science experiment part of the party. There was no time for individual baloon art. Ms. Sparkles made everyone wings on her own and brought them out to the kids. She then left on her own. Ms. Sparkles made the day an amazing experience for everyone. read more

She put on an amazing bubble show ( that kept 9 YOUNG kids totally engaged) and then let the kids play and explore with the bubbles outside. My daughter had a 9 year old paint party at Painted Earth and while the paint dried, Sparkles handled 17 kids so well with her beautiful face paint and balloon making. First Sparkles arrived and set up so quickly while I was running around, and it went smoothly from there. She is so patient with all the kids that had so many requests. If I could give 10 stars I would! Minnie (one of Sparkles associates) was the clown for our party. She was AMAZING! She was so wonderful with the kids. She came dressed in kid friendly bright colored clothing ( not an actual clown costume because we have a kiddo that is afraid) and all the kids loved her! It has been a tough year for the world. My family is no different. I'm trying to blow my Grandsons mind away, I wanted to have something special for his birthday which falls on Halloween. Not only for him, but for all my Grandchildren. In walks this Gal ( Lauren aka Sparkles) She worked for 3 hours straight non-stop on kids and parents. Our pool was open, so what I think was going on, was that the kids would get painted and go for a swim and then come back for a second painting. This amazing woman, never stopped. Great service is so difficult to find these days but I found her, and I will never be able to write enough good things about her. Well.... I could but it would take me all day. She comes equipped with her own table and supplies and doesn't really need a thing. Please set her booth up under good lighting and a ceiling fan if possible. The kids and her are well ventilated when you do this. She comes ready to wear her mask but since we were outside, I did not require it. Upon inquiring, send her photos of what you might like for your kids. In our case I sent her the baseball team's logo. She is so good at painting just about everything and anything you ask her to do.
